I wonder
where, when and who
decided
that love
had to be held constant
never changing
to be considered
real
and true
when ours feels fluid
creating ripples
and sometimes waves
that I
would never trade away

to you

If someday I got stuck,
Some rivers to be crossed,
I'll always keep on swimming,
To waves I shan't be lost.
It's been a while since I wrote one, keeping this one short and simple.
Keep on swimming.

I miss living near the beach
Whenever I would get upset,
It would only be a five-minute walk
To my place of tranquility
Hearing the waves crash upon the shore
Calmed me instantly
It was like the waves were washing over my soul

Waves crash and thrash
Fire burns and and makes only ash

Ice is cold and clear
Wind blows across the pier

All are different
But all can hurt

They’re just like words
Only words hurt worse

you have eyes like rain, hair like waves
and your soul is as deep as the ocean

tell me
how can i resist
drowning in you

She calls to me
to come and witness
her dance with the moon.

She calls to me
to come and feel
her healing touch.

She calls to me
to come and surrender to
her warm embrace.

She calls to me
to return to
her safe and nourishing womb.

She calls to me
to begin again in
her loving presence.
Longing for the sea...

Crystal eyes as the waves crash,
the liquid golden sky shines to form your smile.

Your laugh radiates warmth as the waves splash
laying there with you, makes life all worthwhile.

The butterflies in your eyes,
fluttering just as fast as my ever-so beating heart.

We melt into the sky,
begging to never have to spend a day apart.

Take the jump into the ocean,
and we'll forget everything besides us.

Let the love wash over you, like a potion.
Everything besides us is simply superfluous.

Don't let these waves ever disappear,
this is the only place I want to be, and that is ever so clear.

Flip flops I toss,
Little sand between the toes,
The sea beckons,
As I slip into the ocean.
Taste the salt water,
The sun on my shoulder,
Salty air,
On my face and hair.
Waves crash and roll,
Soothes my soul,
My spirit flies,
Life at the beach is a bliss.

Crashing and turning
So beautiful yet destructive
A young girl reaching out to someone
she can never quite catch

Maybe thats why tidal waves are so strong
Wanting to talk to the land
Tell them how their destructive humans are destroying it
Drowning in lack of love
Drowning in itself

So confusing
So overwhelming
Tidal waves rolling out of her eyes
Crashing into her soul
Cracking it
Until there is nothing left
But tidal waves
