I don't want to
talk to you two,
or be around you
when you're with him,
or tell you
I am afraid.

Your potent opinions
seep into each other's
and make loud noises
that ring in my ears
like a stone-cold
thunderstorm.

You care, you don't.
You're strict, you're not.
You yell quietly, you loudly speak.
Stop doing this to me,
I can't handle any more of it.

You are a storm.
Off in the distance..
I can see the dark brooding clouds
The energetic flashes of lightning
I can see the veil of rain..
But you are off in the distance..
I can't hear the crack of thunder or feel it's mighty rumble beneath my bare feet..
I can't smell the rain as it hits the hot earth..
I long for the monsoon in my dry land..
But the winds take you elsewhere
You are a storm.
A brutish force of nature
Beautiful in your chaos..
Your lightning may strike,
You can create fire.
Your rains may flood,
You can carve rivers.
But always..
Life thrives in the aftermath of your destruction.
You are an artist.
And I admire from the distance.

If I could I would date the sky because sometimes there's a storm but it quickly comes by and the sun always rises again
But with you the thunder never ends
:
God you are so complicated

A Gigantic Giant is mad at his wife.
He made her cry big, wet tears.
Now he's stomping around on the cloud-covered ground.
The sound is quite frightening to hear!

You can hear him shout loudest on dark, windy nights,
When a burning coal flies from the hearth.
He yells a bad word,
(One that I never learned,)
And the big coal falls down to the earth!

It fills up the sky with a blinding, white light.
Sometimes it makes little girls scream.
You can hear a loud CRACK so you know where it's at.
It can even burn down a whole tree!

A Gigantic Giant is settling down.
His wife isn't crying as much.
He sits down in his chair,
His wife brushes her hair,
They'll fight again next week with luck!
Description of a thunderstorm.  Meant to be read as though through the eyes of a child.

I find peace in the rain
I find comfort in the lightning
I find relaxation in the thunder
The storm holds me tight
The humidity keeps me warm
The weather doesn’t let go

I feel at home
When there’s a thunderstorm
Because the weather mimics
What goes on in my head

The boughs did creak
And branches snap
The sky turned then
Quite suddenly black
Dead leaves stirred
As willows mourned
The whispers of
A coming storm
The wind then died
And silence fell
Like echos from
Within a well
It started slow
The sound was soft
The arpeggio of
A single drop
Then like a wave
Before the break
A crescendo rose
From far away
And broke upon
The shattered earth
A torrent's rage
From heavens birthed
Thunder clashed
Darkened the night
The sky was cracked
By blinding light
Alone I listened
To the sound
From beneath
The hallowed ground
The war of thunder
Rage of light
The shallow grave
Of the sleeping Knight

thunder, lightning
rain pours on our heads
you look up and smile
a not so rare moment
of pure happiness and
you are beautiful
your long locks now wet
and dripping and
you are still smiling
glad to be alive
i wish i was like you
but i am not
don't you realize
you are the only reason
my heart continues to pump
and my lungs continue to
inhale
exhale
inhale
exhale
i feel your warm breath
on my skin
and we finally meet
in a passionate kiss
inhale
exhale
inhale
exhale
i wish my dream was a reality
i really really do like him

Rain Rain It’s rainining dramatic
Cracks and stumbles
thunderous rumbles
plunging kamikaze droplets
screaming like riotous hordes
drowning out all other sounds
but the crashing of their own
into the rivers of oblivion
engulfing the surface
of all it touches
rushing like the war of ten thousand
but in minutes

thoughts flood my mind like a rainstorm in the spring
they’re dark and loud and leave everything muddy
once they pass it’s sunshine and dandelions but
only for a while because soon the clouds roll around
and it happens all over again
it’s hard for people to understand why one moment
it’s pouring and the next the sun is shining
and believe me, i’d like to know too

i’m still trying to figure myself and my mind out

Her halos are created in silence
By his dark secrets and his dark passions
And in his chaos of thunder storms
She stands still
Like a fallen autumn leaf
In the cold waves and gusts of winds.
