The sweet can turn sour
I can tell from the apple core
Because you all are staring through your apple
Take a bite you just might lose your control

Let me hold your hands now
And lead you everywhere
Anywhere you said
Hold me here
And now
In a different way i wanna be hold
I wanna go to places no one ever been
Hold me close to your heart
And closer to your soul
Let us melt into each other
Tapping with each heartbeat
singing in a lovely voice
Mirroring each note
Let our souls dance to it
As Kindred souls
Dancing in harmony
And if it is the last dance
Last dance
Shall
It
Be.

Earth has a broken family,
Mother nature left to drink and play in Vegas.
Father Earth couldn't take the life he was left with. He hung himself with lilac vines.
Earth is all alone, even with the millions of bad people living on her skin she feels like she doesn't really fit in.
Earth smokes with the stars and sleeps with the moon.
What a lonely existence with the rain in the room.
Honestly I just felt like I had to write something

you were my spring honey
the aftertaste of your lips dripped from my own
from my chin down my neck,
leaving yellow streaks
slowly choking the air out of my lungs
suffocating me with your sweet affection
i think we may need a break

Sweet honey
Drips down
From your lips
I want to kiss you

Eyes glimmer in
The sun shine
I reach for you
But nothing is there

Come back to me
I miss you

Sweet Centerless Sixteen
by Michael R. Burch

Inconsolable as “love” had left your heart,
you woke this morning eager to pursue
warm lips again, or something “really cool”
on which to press your lips and leave their mark.

As breath upon a windowpane at dawn
soon glows, a spreading halo full of sun,
your thought of love blinks wildly—on and on ...
then fizzles at the center, and is gone.

Hello Daisies Apr 2020
I used to cry alone
I used to beg on the floor
Desperately trying
Desperately seeking
For love
For comfort
Everyone walked away

But for Christmas
You gave me a shirt
But for new years
You gave me a kiss
On Valentine's day
You gave me a gift

You said it's nothing
You said I deserve more

You don't understand
How much it means to me
When you show me you care

When I cried on your couch
When I needed help
When I felt so alone

You gave me a hug
You gave me a kiss
You told me you cared
You stayed right there

I never had to beg
I never had to plead
I never had to sink so low
Or fall on my knees

Maybe you think you're not enough
But to me every little kiss
Every little hug
Means the entire world
And I never want to give you  up
💕
Hello Daisies Apr 2020
Like a tear drop in my eye
Or a rain drop in a puddle
You fill me with emotion
If I sit in them too long
I'll become an ocean
😌
