And there I rejoice
In the depth of the well.
Realizing the way things are.
Are not exactly what they appear.
It takes courage plummeting after the first step.
Content in a excitement disguised as fear.
This was love, one splash at a time.
Then silence.
The center of all knowing.
To think is to create a problem when none exists.
Thus we overcome in stillness.
Satisfied with quenched thirst.
The water rises.
Overcoming fear.
To become selfish means to over indulge.
Desiring more than what the mouth will hold.
I rejoice knowing the center of your heart.
Without expectation of leaving again

There is such peace in nature.

The absence of filling time
with words, emotions and opinions.

Just. Being. Still.

When I close my mouth and open my heart
to her fierce stillness,
I find a part of myself
so grounded and complete.

Just. As. I. Am.

FOMO has been driving
this bus for too long now.

I think I’ll turn the keys over
to SLO-MO for a while
instead.

Tranquillity, the sea
                     I drown within.

Though no waves,
                I'm immersed
                          beneath.

Stillness withdraws,
                 breathless.

Where the silence falls, glass shatters & the truth spills out
like water

I find that I can't stand the quiet of stillness
It brings back the haunted memories
That I have been running from for years

So while I am scared of silence,
Of groaning doors & floors,
My mind screams hate filled words
That break me...

I yearn for peace

be still
with the universe
let your heartbeat sooth
the fallen stars in you

when the sun is rising
and you're the only one awake

when the breath of your partner
is a meditation on relaxation

when everything is still
and beautifully silent

live in that moment forever

Stillness speaks,
as I stand at break of day.
Sun rising in all its beauty.
Birds painting landscape with wings.

Stillness speaks,
with meditative breath
and alignment to candle
that dances in gently wind.

A new day is here,
to celebrate with sacred heart,
A new day that echoes
as stillness speaks.
This morning two words jumped out at me
stillness speaks and candle. Hence this poem was born.

City street stillness in the 1960's
Two hippies pushing a baby carriage down the street
A castle building in my vision
Playground sandbox and swings
Sun shining through the leaves
A soft summer breeze
Reliving a childhood memory
Ingrained in my brain
Attacking all my senses
When time stood still
On that perfect summer day
