I want to live
yet I'm slowly dying
God I know I sinned
wishing the day
of my death
would hunt me down
faster than
fate
would make it.

yet, I'm here,
feel it stalking
as a piece of my soul
slowly fades
away

I tried to catch it
the glimpse of life
colorful and
beloved
yet,
my hands turned transparent;
my legs were stuck deep in the ground,
my voice couldn't be heard,
my eyes didn't believe what they saw.
my soul cried.
my life was escaping.

and when it turned around,
I saw death
taking it away
and a final laugh
echoed through
my mind
until the rest of my days.
This is the poem on which my "yesterday" one was based. Both were inspired by the same thing.

as i crash into my stiff bed
and my demons haunt me
i just think of your smile
or the way your eyes sparkle
and my fears are put to rest

On the last day we spoke, you compared me to a 1000 piece puzzle.

One of those puzzles in which half is made up of a pretty blue sky, with big poofy clouds.

The other half is a plain field of grass.

You also compared me to a colorful rubix cube, the sparkly ones to be exact.

My unique and confusing disarray of color patterns make me approachable.

You said all this is the perspective
that while I'm interesting at first glance, no one wants to stick around long enough to solve me.

I never would of thought that a loss of a poets friendship would be harshest of all.

I guess I should have known.

Inhaling the cold air
beautiful winter's night
ice on the ground
snow in the trees
I want you here
with me
and each moment
I am reminded
of your beauty
intoxicating
you are with me
everywhere
I see you
your sparkle
your shine
in all things
beautiful
like you
baby

I want to fall in the snow
Wear the sparkle to hide my soul
And Be soothed by the cold
As my body goes numb
~^~^~^~

trees wrapped in
glimmering lights
shine and sparkle
under moons night
open land so bright
to run
to slide
snow so white and
soft like clouds
absorbs our bodies fall

pines and firs
a canopy
casting gaze on all below
branch tips wrapped in
delicate ice
magic wands
hovering o're our heads
this eve of moonlit glow

My whole life I've gone
without seeing the Ocean,
and then
I met you.

Looking in your eyes
was like discovering
The Atlantic Ocean.

Who would've known
the waves would lead
me to you.

For once you were touched
like you deserved to be,
by sparkling gold,
by soft star dust
that caressed you in your sleep.
After all that darkness
you could’ve never seen the menace of light,
you only wanted to escape a fate
that did you no justice.

She is a diamond that sparkle
Reflecting her own misty glow
She is the free flowing fluid hope
In the carbon cave of deploration
