our life is a story
plot unclear
path winding
so for a moment

would you stop walking by the passageway
and lay with me?
— for it is heaven in your arms, and in this world my soul is dying

Driven energy,
Understanding silence
Familiar wavelength
With sympathetic threads
Invisible bond
A sense of prospective,
A fate of inclusion,
Synergy of trust
Moment of warmth
Bridge of communication
Law of equanimity
Seizing a moment
With a Joy without an end

Adventure of being alive
Worth of human connects
Celebrating a new time.
Shared from my Anthology, Canvas: Echoes and Reflections, 2018.

Walking through a garden,
Watching all the bees,
Smelling the sweet roses,
Beneath the sighing trees

A moment,
Short and sweet,
To brighten up my day,
Though it will meet
The brief defeat,
And simply melt away,

Into the bore and chore
Of a normal day;

Though it was a lovely moment.

And now that everything is great I'm just waiting for the storm to come and destroy my beautiful moment.
Sad I guess.

Free
that wee
moment
of your
****** blurred
memory.
I can't remember. I'm sorry.

What would happen if I disappeared?
Into nothing, out of time,
all stemming interaction ceasing

There would be the grievances,
ultimately stemming from the fear of it becoming truly personal.
Then the world would move on
With the human idea of time erasing me from existence.

The sun sets and the moon cycles
gravity pulls the earth around.
As i sit with you watching the stars,
I cannot fathom all of those who we have forgotten,
and realize i must come to terms

with the fact that i am a tick of a clock that will pass unnoticeably.
But if that tick did not happen,
then we could not continue:
stuck in a moment when i did not exist.

the melted horizon
climbed upon your starry eyes,
i want nothing more than
being greeted
by your heavenly structures.

“from this moment,”
from the gentle breeze
of four a.m.,
your arms around me
never letting go,
the soft humming of your breath
against every little secret
that i had made.

“to this point in time,”
heated arguments,
saturnine interims,
moments i wish
i could take back.
(take it, take it all back)

I hear the barks
Fierce and admirable
Keeping me awake

I hear the buzz
Itchy and annoying
Still yawning hard

If I cover myself
Through the cotton and warmth
I hear the spinning blades

But they all swipe away
At the right moment I forget
Every details of the night
When I slowly drift to sleep

Night night, Angel O!
Come please pat my head
Comfort my dream Oh well
Since the night is all dark and hell

have you ever wondered
why   am   i   always
f  a  s  c  i  n  a  t  e  d
with the phenomena
of     a    red and rare
l u n a r   e c l i p s e?

with every time we meet,
i turn red;
but with every time we part,
i don't turn blue.

rare doesn't mean
"once in a lifetime."
it only means that
you'll always return,
no matter how long it takes.

and i believe that
someday
for sure
again:
*i'll see you.
aren't we all fascinated with the things, events, and people which come rare?
it makes us cherish them well.

I asked a thief
           to steal my heart,
            but was rejected.

For the thief said
      it had been already stolen.

Misconstruing what I meant,
   I wanted it stolen back..
But the thief said, what was given
                             cant be taken back.

Looking into my eyes,
        pulling something from beneath.
Giving me theirs, on this night you
                                have stolen mine.

That which I wanted stolen,
                          given freely back.
The thief no longer a heart taker,
now proving there the love of my life.
