Your glow stick veins are meant to be cracked
To ooze beneath your tissue thin skin whilst smacked
To seep into minuscule puddles across you- trapped
To illuminate your thousands of flaws- mapped
Then to disappear- forgotten, forlorn, inapt.

Touch me softly
And run a feather
From over my neck to my belly

Then
Up and down
round and round
Move your hands gently
Over my boomerang

And when you can’t hold it
Anymore
Move fast and slow
Eye to eye
Until our faces glow red
and our hair is wet with sweat

Crisscross, our
legs like scissors

Oh I have reasons to be sad
And reasons to be happy
Seasons to embrace
but the winter just feels ******
I've found a silver lining
or maybe it's a gold
It's this little thing called LOVE
And it never ever gets old.
I heard it as a whisper,
as a voice inside my head.
It said "I Love You Katherine"
And it rarely ever gets said
So now I learn to listen
and embrace the happy glow,
it makes me warm and tingly
and now it really starts to flow.
I want to give it to you all
but right now this one's for me.
You see I've been neglecting it
and it's helping me feel free.
Soon I won't have to listen
and I'll just begin to know
if you neglect the voice inside too,
know that Love can ease your woes
and it's never to late to do.

We interrupt this program
To tell you that your madness is showing
Lighten up on the glow stick purchases
You're scaring the children

And on my darkest days
my scars seem to glow

Something I love to do
Seeing your face glow
Like the sun on snow
That smile that I love so much
I would love to touch
With our lips we kiss
I always get the feeling of bliss

In my eyes I rescue the heat in my chest

Crushed inside under one collapsed lung

Living in glow, so faintly, off of my breath

A mirror placed before me in silence I can

Only see deep  so when I look, lonely,

what do I see?

A shred of truth

With what could I bring

a pulse of truth from so low

up to the level?

I've seen a little light through the crack at night,

when the others relieve

the drinks that put them in bed, maybe I’ll use that

old song to move on and when I implode,

would any blame me?
