There is a window
In your soul
Like the window
In your home
You cannot see it
But you will know it
When you feel yourself
Begin to glow

Your soul is in your heart
It radiates
It’s in your hair
And every part
Of you that bleeds
In every part of you
That dreams

When you are angry
When you are sad
When you cannot even
Think to begin to stand
When you have fallen
And it’s useless to get up
Open up the window
In your soul
Like the window
In your home

Turn the latch
Lift it up
Push it out
Let the panes
Open you up
With love

Feel the rush
As you let go
Feel the power
Of your soul
Your secret key
Your special tool
It’s always there
Do not be fooled
You can almost picture it
Perhaps just like a window
A skylight where you can sit
Believe in it

This is a place that you can go
A place for you nobody knows
And this window
It has wings
It helps you fly away
From things
When you accept things
As they are
Your soul becomes
This Shining Star
The Star
You’ve always been

Don’t try to be something
You’re not
Attempt to be the thing you are
When you find it
Hold on tight
Attempt to actually Be The Star

It doesn’t matter what you’ve done
For this has shaped who you’ve become

You are a present of great worth
You’ve been God’s child
Since your birth
God does not make mistakes
God does not throw things away

From the moment you were conceived
This is when the window
Of your soul
Grew into you
This part of you inside
This place that you can go
A place for you
That no one knows
Just how to get to
Without you
And this window
It has wings
It helps you fly away
From things
When you accept things
As they are
Your soul becomes
The Shining Star
You’ve always been

And in the end
This is the cord
That links you to
ALL of creation
Through and through
To know this place
Is to be guided
Into the wealth of
ALL existence
To be with God
To be In the arms
Of your Divine Mother
Forever

Your spirit always knew
Even when earth’s distractions taught you how to
Forget the truth, to be something else
To be something you were never born to do

Do not try to be something
You are not
Just be the special thing that you are
Attempt to actually Be The Star

It doesn’t matter what you’ve done
For all of this has shaped
The beautiful spirit
That you’ve become

When you look inside yourself
And you find the thing that makes you sing
You’ve found your soul
You’ve found your window
To God and to your truth

And yes this window
DOES have wings
And it WILL help you
Fly away from things
That have hurt you
When you accept these things
As they are
Shining brightly
You Are The Star
You’ve always been

Find your soul
Find your window
Spread your wings
And let your spirit’s path
Begin

Let my heart burn
a brilliant light.
Let the world see
the fire's golden might.

Let my heart escape
the shallow empty cries.
Let the world watch
my heart soar the skies.

Let my heart feel
the gentle rain of life.
Let the world witness
the end of all strife.

Let my heart burn
a brilliant light.
Let the world see
my heart glowing bright.
I wrote this when I was upset. I'm surprised it turned out this way. Though...there is something missing...isn't there?

Your radiance shines from the inside.
An eternal light of my hopes and dreams.
Your kiss makes me shine.
My skin glows with your warmth.
I never want to leave your light.

I want to print out my poetry and paste it on the walls
Let them scream my emotions
In swirling patterns of fading text

I want to rip off the ceiling and sleep under the stars
Watch them glow like I’ve always wanted to glow
In a sea of midnight blue

I want to lie in damp grass and watch the clouds passing by
Fleeing across the sky while it catches on fire
In the most outrageous of ways

I want the music in my ears to be drowned out and silenced
By the music radiating from my soul

I remember
You were walking to the fire pit with that stupid, wonderful, lost little boy look in your eyes
I remember
We talked about dirt bikes
I remember
You laughed at pretty much everything every single one of us said
I remember thinking
"Man, shut the hell up, already!"
I remember the next several weeks
You annoyed the hell outta me

I DON'T remember the day you first felt like a friend
I DO remember all the things you taught me
Laughter
Like all the joy in the world is bubbling directly through your soul
Silliness
Letting the world think you're crazy when all you're doing is having fun
Gentleness
Letting go of yourself and doing the right thing for the sake of others, so that they may feel..
Love
A friendship so full, deep, and rich; the first time we saw each other after several months all we could do was laugh
Literally
For like fifteen minutes straight
You made my soul feel whole

I don't remember when we started to drift
I don't recall the day it began
But suddenly, I realized I was losing my best man
I tried so hard to clutch you in my hands!
But you continue to slip through my fingers like sand
Slowly, slowly you disappear
And sometimes I catch a glimpse
A frail, fleeting glimpse
So intact and incredible
It is but a glimpse

Then away you go
Where you glow and you glow and you glow and you glow
For someone else to know
And I'm having a hard time letting go
Is it worse to lose a good friend instantaneously to a tragic accident, or slowly over time?  I love you, Holt.  And I miss you a lot.  Don't worry though, you're doing incredible, honorable, wonderful things :)

I don't really know if this is a poem or not.  It's raw, heart feelings though so I decided to classify it as poetry.

I'm stuck in a love coma

But I can hear him whispering to me how he loves to kiss my lips,
Delights in pulling his fingertips up my legs,
And how my moans and writhes thrill him into ecstasy.

I'm paralyzed

But I can feel his weight on my body moving from my supple ******* to my long, long legs,
And I can feel his lips move from the back of my knee to the top of my thigh,
And my entire being glows as his mouth meets my neck and his hot, perfect **** slips inside me.

He makes the sweetest love to me I've ever known.

It awakens my soul and everything around me is beautiful.

And we together are mystically superb.
You have given my heart such a warm glow,
Mind awakened, words, shall flow.

Flowers glowed-
Juxtaposed behind
Glowing end of cigarette.
They glowed with vibrance,
The cigarette looked dead.
The holder looked
Somewhere in between.
Bland slated eyes
Livened with churning nicotine,
Heart speeding
In context of
Present company.
He held the cigarette
Delicately,
A union
With lips
Leaving chills
To smolder up from her feet and
Out from spine.
The air was cold
But she looked at the smoke
Knowing the heat
In his body was close
Enough
To fable heat in her own body
And test morals.
She was watching his lips too much
And broke her gaze away,
Directing eyes
To watch the flowers.
They angered in red,
Disappointed they hadn't
Held her eyes completely.
But she massaged their petals,
Scrutiny turning up satisfied
As it danced along the lines.
His smoke hazed the lines and she couldn't help but look back
At his eyes,
His mouth,
And listened still
As he murmured words
That hardly glowed at all.
