My night melts into dreams of you
and even when I loose my dream
I loose my sleep,
the night stays with me.
The broken strand of hair on my shoulder
could have been your tear
if it had not passed through this night
I live with,
if it was not born in the fragile dream
that you are.

I'm sure there have been times,
When you have felt so down.
You display a smile to the world,
But inside there is a frown.

People have hurt you badly,
You don't always know why.
For some reason some people,
Take pleasure when you cry.

But you are not weak or fragile,
You are not a wart or ****.
They may have tried to bury you,
They didn't know you were a seed.
My poem was lovingly made into a 'Me to You Bear' video:

And I fall
   In the hole
          We call "hope"
I feel safe
  Water's waiting for me
                 At the bottom.
I lie to myself
      Because I know
                      I'll remember I can't
             ~swim~
the moment my fragile bones touch
                     _ the water_
I can swim

It is a wonder to hold the heart
of someone you have never held.

Where their hands have kneaded
your words.
Dough to soften
wait
And rise.

A poet holds a thousand hearts
or maybe only one

Pen poised, and writing
Whatever words will wield.
Their grip can be so vicious
or perhaps so sweet and soft.

And whatever that grip may be,
they hold hearts,
To tear or twist,
Or tenderly touch.

A poet holds a thousand hearts.
Of those they've never held.

Unanswered fantasies are not discreet
Thoughts burned into the minds of the restless
Silent ghosts, tip-toeing with heavy feet
But they are not words for us to confess.

Lust for matters and things that cannot be
Matrimonies of what is and is not
With lullaby whispers we tame this sea
Wicked little details, only we’ve caught.

Yet somehow my body is translucent
Dull skin, thin and fragile with overt veins
Blood saturated with my existence
Tainted with the colors of love and pains.

Unanswered fantasies are not discreet.
Silent ghosts, tip-toeing with heavy feet.

writhe
venomous serpents coil inside, fangs dripping blood
slither, swirl
sand in the wind
foil, fester, freak
bubbling cauldron filled to the brim with rank dread
confusion, collision, corruption, calamity
counting caskets from six feet under
She’s fragile; handle her with care
and don’t you dare
upset her; poor dear
she’s very near
to tears
You can see them
tracing rivers down
her chin
Already
she’s there

I hide pieces of myself
Wrapped up in a bow
Anything so you can’t see
The broken me underneath

My sender forgot to mark me
Handle with care
I’ve been damaged
Lost in transit

When I finally arrive
At your feet
I hope you  can look past the cracks
And cherish my pieces

The world is dumbed down, dark
with roads made of glass for
which we caused and keep
One little mistake, one
little crack, people
will throw stones
and laugh and
point when
you

Nowadays we have to be perfect and correct about everything or else you get backlashed.
I just find it ridiculous because WE AREN'T PERFECT!
Sheesh... You wanna throw stones at others but you hate it when people do it to you.

You're so simple
A boy with no ambitions
But a hope for the future
You have all I could ask for
Morality, integrity, a kind heart
But you are so fragile
So weak, and so so simple.

She's extremely passionate, but lacks any sentiments of compassion and empathy.
She's unapologetic,
lacking all remorseful entities..
But at the same time she is so delicately fragile that underneath of it all,
she bears no substantial amount
of self worth.
