You start talking about suffering,
beaten and broken, you’ll horribly die,
then after three days you’ll rise to life,
you plainly state such crazy things,
so I take you aside to tell you, no,
you’ll be King, show your power
rule the earth,
crush oppressors into the dirt,

then like I’ve never seen, you roar,
the anger of the righteous Lord
the priests teach about, comes out
you yell, Behind me, Satan,
you won’t ruin my plans,
your mind is filled with thoughts of man,
not God,
I’m silent with shame,
confused, you’re calling me the name
of your enemy while I’m trying
to remind you what you promised me.

I'm the victim of my own
          actions
when you say you love me

I'm the enemy of my own
          heart
when you try to hold me

I'm the phantom of my own
          reality
                    when you dream about me

I'm the closed door of my own
          life
when you try to free me

I'm the past of my own
          future
when you decide to leave me

It's me who is my enemy,
Me who beats me up,
Me who makes the monsters,
Me who strips my confidence.
I will fight you with love
I will cut you with kindness
      Submit you with a compassion

I will challenge you with the Word
I will win you with the Truth
I will show you the Way, the Truth, and the Life.
"my word be that goes out from my mouth; it shall not return to me empty, but it shall accomplish that which I purpose, and shall succeed in the thing for which I sent it." Isaiah 55:11

First rule of love,
And every relation,
Is to be honest,
Then sincere.
Have patience,
For happiness,
Unto yourself,
L**ove faithfully.
Few ever get this thing about love.

Psychedelic Love Makin',
Grabbing energy from the stars that we promise would
Not be taken,
Kissing Everytime like we've seen each other for the first
Time in a long time but it was just awhile ago when our
Love got stronger,
Stronger than those memories,
Right here where you need me to be,
You know you could always call on me,
You Know you could always call on me,
Not a buzzkill or an enemy,
I'm simply, your necessity,
And all these things you do to me,
I'm vividly tapping out nervously,
In the air below your window where the lilies grow and gather
Up the courage to say what they have to say when they're alive,
Even just being in your company will comfort me like giving trees
In the midst of spring where the feelings collide,
You're so pretty , wheres your kidneys , drinking Bourbon like
A southerner in a graceful way when the pigs will fly and see
Better days,
Call on me and I'll be there to stop the habit and the insecurities,
Swear it will be always this way, I promise.

That bad dream of a human being
That one that you despise
Who caused you so much pain
The hurt pulsating behind you eyes

That shadow behind a fragmented smile
That terrorizes you,
From the hidden pockets in your mind
For days, for months, for years ...

Thank her, for she's your greatest muse

The dark is fragile to ones that haven't given their lives,
The ungrasp of something coming closer towards you,
Knowing your every move and duplicating your fears,
Seeing what is not there and scaring off any of your peers,
But somewhere,
Is where,
We all belong,
The holy Grail isolated from the world,
A place where you could be free,
See the beauty and conduct of freedom
All around you,
New friends,  a new race,
A new salvation,
Where color isn't problem,
And cops don't beat on us when they want,
But so far,
We aren't too far,
From societies harsh ways,
The dark will not harm us,
The dark will not isolate us from our destinies,
To be one with our entities and make no more
frienemies,
Hoping it would last long as any Utopia does.

They make it a point to show,
That I'll never live up to the status quo.
They multiply my insecurities.
They make me think of them as disabilities.
They see me as an object to ridicule.
Everything I used to love about myself has been overruled.
My peers have always been my biggest enemy.
At least I now see this in all of its clarity.
It feels good to be writing again... I have been busy non-stop since I posted my last poem and it feels good to get some creative flow going again.
