She loved the rain.
She loved the way it fell with purpose,
The way it changed from sprinkle to downpour.
The way it caressed her face
When she looked to the clouds
She thought it to be gentle
Beautiful.
So maybe that's why she didn't notice,
When the flood began,
That she was drowning.

I seek,
But I cannot find.
I listen,
But I cannot hear.
I love you,
But I cannot love you.
~~
You let me drown in the seas,
You left me to burn in the fire,
You left me helplessly in the middle of a war,
You let me fall for you,
You let me to die in this world,
Without caring my heart was broken.
~~
I'll send a kiss to you,
Soaring in the air hoping it reaches you,
Just like I send a paper airplane.
But there's a catch to it.
I can't send an airplane without making it.
So I can't send a kiss without meaning it.
~~
One.
Two.
Three.
Not one.
Not two.
But three times did you break my heart when a gave you a heartbreaking chance.
~~
I don't know. I wouldn't really write this. But I've seen many people with broken hearts. I guess I'll dedicate these to them.

you are an ocean
i'm simply swimming
through waves of
"i miss you"
and
"where did you go?"
a heartbeat mutters
if it can't be heard
hopefully someone
is swimming, too
finding ways to drown
in your calming eyes

darling, i love to swim
but not if you drown me
it will always be you and me
Our arms flail as we flounder about
In our lakes impossible tide
A water of unforgotten days
That we couldn't escape if we tried
Some people's are small others wide

We do our best to escape
Pulling ourselves to the sandy beach
Resting from its power,
Pulling us in, never free of its reach
To it we aren't worth a screech

As we grow our lakes do too
Filling with waters good and bad
Powerful waves and calming seas
Old emotions happy or sad
As we grow to man from lad
Please comment I would be happy to hear what interpretations you have of my poems

I'm drowning in your moans
Every word that melts from your lips
Floods the room about us
Suffocating me into believing
That I would be satisfied
Spending my last moments
Staring into your eyes
Breathless

Sometimes I drown
But my eyes are dried out rivers
Begging for the clouds
That will never come.
Sometimes I’m not strong enough
To admit that
It’s been forever
Since I’ve shed a tear.

And I don’t know how to feel
Unless my throat burns.

I don’t know how to
At all;
Anything.

But last night I cried
Until I laughed
And I’m still drowning in both.

Someone save me from
Falling into the rhythm
Because surely
I will lose myself in it
Let me drown into every note
She dances, twirling
As the rain drowns her lost soul
She weeps with the sky
The oceanic wind did not rescind but instead it found its form.
Gathering in strength and gaining much in length at the centre of the storm.
Building attitude it would not exclude from the frigate sailing true.
But with its destination now a defication the seas discarded with the crew.

Land-**, it came, did this hurricane bringing with it such a wave.
Like none had ever seen was this water screen that was bound to misbehave.
Throwing all aside like an unruly bride who was aiming to get her way.
And what lay ahead was a heap of dead as the big one came to play.

On its way inward it had done no good to the vessells on the sea.
Throwing craft around and causing men to drown it wasn't going to let them be.
Breaching many shores like unruly ****** the waves would spread there grisly pox.
From the nearest beach to the out of reach destination of inland docks.

Catastrophe - spelt with a capital C was the headlines in the news.
Every seaside place had a weary face that was filmed by camera crews.
People died that day many swept away as the nearest towns did flood.
Even tracks were failing with the trains derailing while water washed away the blood.

Many homes were wrecked as they did disconect and the oceans did divorce.
With those like you and me as they watched TV as the waters swam there course.
Many got up high and watched their fellows die on this day that would not be.
Forgotten very soon as before high noon we were dismantled by the sea.

It's all over now and we will somehow continue with our lives.
We'll bury our dead and we'll count the heads of our lost husbands and wives.
They'll be laid to rest and we'll then invest in the massive clear away.
But when that wind gets up it'll hit us in the gut but all we can do is pray.

The world cannot be tamed and does not feel ashamed when it strikes from out of the blue.
However we prepare nature doesn't care and will do what it must do.
We think we're in control but we're just on parole from what nature has to throw.
And we'll hope that day never comes our way but we can never really know.
