Don the mask and join the parade.
Twirl twisted to the tune and turn and wrench some more
To the bang of the drum, bangs three twelve eighteen
Flail hysterically to the hand jive, 30 50 90 .
The dance abruptly ceases..
Encore! Yell the crowd.

Sing Me your Poem,
on Love Divine.
As I raise U a Toast
and Sip on some Wine.
Our Nights have been,
on Beds of Red Roses.
With rooms that are filled,
with Fragrance of Posies.
Midnight Romance begins,
as We draw the Curtain.
When We are done,
Our Happiness is quite Certain.
Nights without Passion,
are simply Boring.
As I fall off to sleep,
in an Hour I'm Snoring.

For every curtain that is closed
        to the onyx descending.

One is always opened to the illumination..
                                               of a new day...
We may think we settle in to darkness.

But we always awaken to a new day,
no mater the cloud every one has a silver lining..

Shining on the next blue sky that we swim within,
floating on the breath of positivity..

Last Curtain
by Rabindranath Tagore
loose translation/interpretation by Michael R. Burch

I know the day comes when my eyes close,
when my sight fails,
when life takes its leave in silence
and the last curtain veils my vision.
Yet the stars will still watch by night;
the sun will still rise like before;
the hours will still heave like sea waves
casting up pleasures and pains.
When I consider this end of my earth-life,
the barrier of the moments breaks
and I see by the illumination of death
this world with its careless treasures.
Rare is its lowliest seat,
rare its meanest of lives.
Things I longed for in vain and those I received, let them pass.
Let me but truly possess the things I rejected and overlooked.

We waited – waited – waited…
For that which
We knew
Not

Just killed the time till killing time…
With small and
Pointless
Talk

We seemed to ride upon a dream…
That faded with
Slow with
Time

And in the end, the curtains closed…
Without a
Reasoned
Rhyme

my class ends at 11:30 and ill
be home by 12.
so little in this world can give me
comfort like a closed door and a
grey sky through a
curtain.

behind a dark curtain
you're going to find
the lord of the blind

the lord of the
blind isn't able to
walk and talk

like others; well
you'll miss him when
he ain't there

who is he the
lord of the blind?

In issues of the tongue and heart
One thought resolves
(all others)

Parting mind from misery
Fog from fine

And that is here
Regarding all decisions there
(within)

The real question is not of what, or why
But of when did the notion begin?
Behind The Curtain. Don't look too much. The inner workings of your mind can only be seen for so long, before they get angery. #hangry

I cannot see when I need
Foggy curtain will not concede
Full in the distance forcing us apart
These dark days you are the sunshine in my heart
I've been waiting so long
To be where I'm going
In the sunshine of your love
