Rough patches are like the rain.
Once in awhile they pour down in sheets.
Other times they sprinkle themselves sporadically.
No matter how they arrive,
dark clouds always clear
and sunshine returns.

To the blue clouds
rolling out of town,

I’m begging for
a last hurrah.
Idk I’m sick of rainy days. They’ve been rainy all **** week :(

let’s stop for a while
and find shapes in the clouds
feel the breeze on our skin
and take in the sounds

let’s take a moment
in the cool april air
forget about our problems
and last night’s affairs

can i just have this
return to nature’s call
because darling, i’m lost
and need somewhere to fall

Her eyes were sky bound
Searching
For that specific shade of blue
For that shimmering silver hue
Reflecting of the lonely moon
Seaching
For that falling star
A celestial sign
To make a wish with tightly shut eyes
Searching
For a cotton shaped cloud
To play the childish game
Of turning it to images of rabbits and hounds
For shades of pink and peach
When the sun rises and when it goes to sleep
For God's smile
Among all that beauty
Her eyes were sky bound
When others lowered their eyes
For what beauty holds the soil
That is not held by the sky?
When I walk home from college, I just gaze up and admire the beauty of the sky, especially when the sky is deep blue with snow white clouds scattered, almost unrealistic, like a cartoon. The sky is truely marvelous

If I but open my fist
leave the damning shouts
on the evening news
no telling how far I could go
what I could release
from a heart also opened
how many galaxies I could find
mountains I could climb
peaks I could occupy
above and beyond
the clouds.

the stars are falling at a faster pace
the clouds are getting closer to my face
i can see myself standing on the ground
and time seems to be the only sound
the skies are spinning
the moons are falling
i can feel my blood flowing
and my palms sweating
but the only thing hard to comprehend
is breathing
they say the oceans blue but its black right now
in the dark, on the sand, looking out at the clouds

depression and drowning screaming out their full parts
lightning reveals where the ocean stops and the sky starts

and a random strike of light reminds me of what is true
but right now the oceans black and the sky is too

the storm clouds threatened
to pull me into the blue river
and drown me in a mix of cobalt and smoke

i was pushed into the rift
the folds of brine,
so i pulled out my pockets
hoping the last bit of blush pinks
and buttercup yellows
would save me from the patches
of leaden gray
day 09: furor (focus on a color)
I think I (unwittingly) swayed away from the prompt and went off the rails with this one.

I laid down and looked at the stars in the sky
and wondered why they are up so high.
Seeking attention of the viewers eye
and can only be felt with a sensitive sigh.
But don't you think they are high and dry?

Unlike the clouds he can't shed tears.
He had many pains , but no one to hear .
His life to him was so precious and dear
But now he is going to face his worst fear
that , by dawn he would forever disappear.
But does he deserve the phase he bears?

Similarly , seemed the case of the clouds
They're on the verge of tears , I doubt .
The whole bunch seems to burst out loud
But can't determine the reason in the crowd.
But why are their ethereal face been moult ?

Her curly hair was dripping wet.
Her braws were lined with regret .
She got many reasons to fret ,
and many heartaches over which she had wept .
But does she deserve the fate she had met?
