I can't remember the last time
I could sleep
Without the need to drink
To pass out
Without any thoughts
In my mind

Do I need an escape from reality
A new city?
Or a hobby? Or to get lost
In someone's eyes?
Life seems pretty bleak
Or maybe I just need sleep
“Dance with me my dear”
You said as you reached for my hand
“But there is no music”

“Don’t worry its playing in my head”

You slipped your arm around my waist
And we swayed, and swayed
And swayed…

Across the living room floor of wild daisies
Across rivers of moons and stars
Across darkness and light we swayed..

We swayed into the night
With every inch your finger moved
Up my back and in my hair
A demon of mine had escaped

A bad thought trickled down as a tear
Lift my chin and ask ”what is wrong”

My tongue curls to say “you..
You have made believe I could be loved”

But it comes out as lips upon lips
And I think….
I think that says it all
There once was a man and a girl
Alone in the world,
Both almost forgotten.

But one lonely night,
He only did sight
The girl alone at the bar.

Her eyes matched the stars
As he came from afar.
He joined that girl,
And they twisted and twirled
Both without a thought.

The forgotten man almost forgot to say
The one reason he never looked away.

It could have been her eyes
That shined as if they were stars.
It could have been
The way she looked at his scars.
It could have been the way they danced and didn’t think,

But the one true reason he couldn’t look away was
She was quite a vision in pink.

people say silence speaks
louder than words
but tell me
how does silence balance
the e c h o
of you

it doesn't matter how much
i rearrange twenty-six letters
i still cannot bring myself
to s p e a k
let alone have the right words to say,
ironically
A poets muse, is like an artistic drawing or orchestra,
Sending one, to places of fantasies and dreams,
A night out of town, a destination, a romance,
A priceless nature setting, among other things,
Taking flight in wings.

Visualizing in silence,
Beyond what others see,
Seeking with desire and passion,
An ambience far from reach,
Into a forbidden site, within the soothing sea.
When I was lying on the ground
Feeling I was too weak to stand
There you came with an open hand.

When I was there crying in vain
And what I felt was only pain
Only your words had kept me sane.

When I was hiding in the dark
And my presence just left no mark
You reminded me I'm a lark.

When I was there to keep my song
Hide them safe where they belong
You came to prove me I was wrong.

That's when I thought that I am weak
When only pain's the one that stick
And when I hid like I'm so sick.

You're the true light that guides me through
My path's now clear because of you
Now I can show what I can do.
you are...
" "
fires that flicker and dance to your beat
cast moving shadows of stumbling feet
in the dim contrast you've created
many children revel naked

uttering guttural
grunts and sighs

little palms reach
toward the skies
As humans we love what is forbidden.
our cowering fingers reaching.
yet never grasping.

As humans we think we deserve the world
our golden scissors shredding away.
turning miracles into angel dust.

As humans we find pleasure in terrible ways.
toturing the innocent with words
and blaming the ****** for ******.

As humans we think we create beauty.
even though we destroy the natural world
covering the earth in grays

As a human, I write this.
despise for my race raising with every word.
and yet I am still human.
Holding qualities I cannot stand.
