I've read only sad
or broken people write poetry
but i disagree
as I'm happy
There was a time I
was sad but I'm not no more
I'm happy and I still
continue to write
I don't know what broken
means I just miss my loved ones
who don't walk upon
this earth no more
I've also learnt
that life is short
and so very precious
and it's the simple things
that really matters in life
so that tells me
live love and appreciate :)
Maybe it's because
I'm getting older and wiser
Or maybe not
But one thing is for sure
I'm very happy indeed

To get my cousin
and his wife to a surprise
party was so fun

We made up a lie
Said we was taking them to
a boxing event

We got a cab to
a local foootball club where
all the family

was waiting with smiles
and excitement , me and my
Dean open the doors

Everyone shouted
'surprise" and took photos
My cousin cried tears

We danced all night long
Was such a lovely catch up
Lots of happiness

My cousin and his
wife are emigrating to
Spain in June this year

So a farewell it
was , family gathered to
make sweet memories

Jan's daughter bless her
had organised the party
In just three short weeks

Friends and family
from all over turned up to
show there gratitude

Me and my Dean danced
to a song called Red Red Wine
One of our favourites

Some got merry , they swayed
around nearly toppling
over , we did laugh

The food was yummy
There was carrot cake and crisps
Chicken, gherkins, rolls

Bagels and crab
sticks , lollypops and chocolate
sponge cake with icing

The laser light was fun
full of  happy faces and
bright stars in the sky

Was a lovely night
A sweet memory , one to
look back on and smile

Today I'm lazy
I'm tired and wrinkly
and my hair as been
struck by lighting!
But I should not
make it all about me
as the world is rather
tragic at times
but it's the mood I'm
in today!
My tv is singing songs
and the blind is shut
because I closed the outstde
world out because
I can!
But that's just my day
so far , we all get them
don't we!
I bought a plastic cover
to protect my garden table
and chairs so when the raindrops
trickle down they bounce
upon patio!
And i love the glistens
inside a raindrop so petty!
My three dogs are
all lying next to me
they do love comfort
with lots of hugs and
they're so loyal and friendly!!
My mind as been a bit hectic
today so I've let it flow by
Now I'm ready for the rest
of my day as my heart
flowers once again like
it does most days!
My son is home now
and he as such a lovely smile:)
It's now time for me
to get myself together
now my mind as settled
into a calm ocean
of friendly dolphins
and big blue whales
who sing so sweetly
making my mind
a happy enviromemt  
to be in again!!
I doubt this is even
poetry but does it really matter!
I'm just writing
from my heart  ***

The trees blew gently
behind tercotta roofs
tickling grey sky

but the sky didn't
giggle out loud , o no no
Just the wind passing

She wondered about
the street lights , each one looked like
a lamp upon desk

where silent poets
wrote in dark rooms under a
sky of shiny stars

there pens now magpies
as there wings spread high in sky
gracing moments with

beauty unknown to
humans eye , yet in silence
glimpses flicker by

a curse or a gift
She often questions the why's
and reasons of such!!

Maybe her questions
need not be answered , maybe
letting go is best

As the night darkens
and street lights light up the streets
She begins to write

a voice in her head
tells her no more no more , yet
she never listens

She too is a poet
in a dark room under a
sky of shiny stars

But she wants to be
like her friends where a street light
is just a street light

My Dean as such soft
skin Tis always been that way
even though we aged

When I look at him
he still makes my heart flutter
after thirty years

Today I cut his
hair , he now bald as coot
but his still handsome

Sometimes when he sleeps
he snores ever so loud , then
sometimes he wakes up

gasping for fresh air
no matter it's winter or
the first day of spring

I tell him to breathe
slowly , that all is okay
No fear shall stop me

Sleep Apena stops
his heartbeats whilst he sleeps o
so soft on pillow

Tis a constant feel
of worry but love helps to
get us through the days

No robot machine
from hospital helps , Tis like
a cold windy day

This evening we had
a sweet night , lots of bowls filled
up with yummy treats

Bon bons and humbugs
fruitella sweets and toffee
popcorn sugar sweet!!

Best we clean our teeth
after eating that lot , or
we'll end up toothless

Today I saw some
swallows stretching there dark wings
in greyest of sky

Was such a lovely
sight to see , they flew in air
then swooped down gently

I hope Deans heart sleeps
well tonight and it doesn't
stop whilst his sleeping

Out of eight hours
sleep he'll be lucky to get
four hours of sleep

But he still wakes up
smiling ready for his day
Always marching on

I love him with all
my heart , my soul mate and my
best friend forever <3

The sun is shining
It's made me go red
I looked like a tomato
From my toes to my head!
Now I can't walk
I'm ever so sore
Yay! I have great excuse
I'm on strike from housechore
But family need dinner
Our bellies come first
But we need some potatoes
But no money in purse!  
So I planted a tree
To grow some extra cash
And turn the potatoes
Into creamy mash

I ordered a dress
colour of snowflakes with a
pretty flower hem

Being a big size
I wondered how i would look
wearing a white dress

Its got short sleeves too
Also like two white flowers
blossoming on earth

I asked my Dean for
his advice he said it looked
lovely and I smiled

Now I need new shoes
colour of magnolia
with a wedge heel

But more like a small
kitten heel otherwise I
shall fall upon ground

Dean and our boys need
to go suit shopping for
our big wedding day

But o dear they seem
to be always busy , so we
girls of the house raised

our voices until
they got heard like a disco
of rapping music :)

I need to buy a
nice tan belt to wrap around
pretty white soft dress

To liven up the
colour to jazz it up with
an extra big smile

Tis a nice white dress
I feel like a spring flower
ready for summer

Me and Dean went out
last night we had a great time
Drinking and dancing

But I've got a worse
hangover my head is full
of doziness fudge

Yeap it's melted like
snowdrops fallen to earth on
a cold winters day

But i managed to
somehow cook a roast dinner
how I just don't know!!

The potatoes were
soggy the veg quite hard , but
the gravy was tasty

We danced and danced all
night long to pretty voices
from super cool songs

My feet began to
ache o no I'm growing old
by every second

Brandy and coke filled
my shiny glass than went to
my brain and smiled wide

Goggle slurp goggle
O what a noisy drink , slurp
slip gulp gulp goggle

Dean drank lots of beer
and so did our sons there sweet
laughter filed the air

Everytime trouble
went down as there was two fights
Dean alerted bouncers

Too many drink to
much than want to start fights , o
what silly pickles

But Dean made sure we
had best night my hero my
man my best friend too

At 3 o clock this
morn we went to macdonalds
and stuffed our faces

I had cheese burger
and chips and Diet Coke , Dean
had quarter pounder

The wind was chilly
And we walked from Saturday
to Sunday in shoes

It's been a lazy
day my house is quite messy
but the air is kind

Me and dean had a
great time last night , so bottoms
up to a new week

One by one they jumped
off a line pretty blackbirds
landing upon earth

As I stood in my
spaceship the moon is glowing
towards the warm sun

Now threaded with age
I headed towards a hill
Where daffodils bloomed

And there I lie till
the end of time smiling with
my dearest close friends

Hey what happen to
climbing trees under a sky
full of adventures

Where daisy chains in
a field were hand crafted by
our innocent hands

And catching tadpoles
with our cute green fishing nets  
in dark watered ponds!

And sweet strawberry
and raspberry picking , was
always so much fun!

What about spinning
roundabouts , where our giggles
ended up queasy

And let's not forget
hopscotch , hopping to number
ten was a fab goal

Now teens are getting
stabbed left to die very young
Families broken

Instead of going
outside to find joy in our
good Mother Nature

they prefer there phones!
Whats happen to geniune
communication

Where we'd knock on doors
and ring bells to see happy
loving faces smile

Tis real sad you know..
Technogly just too much..
And gangs are killing

Makes me unhappy
My heart goes out to those who
have been affected

I woke this morning
to a window of raindrops
falling gently down

Tis a Sunday morn
And I can hear a pigeon
coo cooing in tree

All the daisies are
wet and shivering and car
tyres are swishing

I can hear my son
opening a bag of crisp
Hey that's not breakfast!!

If it rains all day
I don't mind today because
spring is blossoming

When it rains the grass
glistens too it's quite lovely
Like night stars glowing

There's a heat wave on
it's way so the weather dudes
say , the sun will shine

Yay I get to wear
my flipflops and summer hat
Watch out for the bees :)

Once upon a time
In a faraway land lived
a miserable girl

Nothing was ever good
enough for her , she always
wanted more and more

Lets just say bigger
and better seemed more tidy
Clean and Glorious

''Twas a rainy day
She walked into a forest
Where darkness blossomed

No light through the trees
Only bottom trunks of trees
seemed to pass her eye

She became scared in
the darkness , howling noises
seeped through her soft ears

Her mind became a
circus , elephant shadows
danced with a cold breeze

Together twirling
frantically until the rain
pelted down on earths ground

Tis then in distance
she saw twinkly light , her
eyes summed up diamonds

Even in her darkest
hour her greed took over
her genuine side

She ran towards the
light and was disappointed
The moon danced with pond

Ha ha spoke a voice
My dear girl it's time you changed
Love is awaiting

Follow the darkness
And when you reach a river
You will see a boat

The girl looked angry
She continue to follow
the darkness with mood

It was only when
she saw the boat that she smiled
It was full of stars

Each one so shiny
her heart bloomed a garden of
award winning blooms

Each star contained a
memory , her ancestors
spoke with such wisdom

Ah young girl you must
now live your life with love in
your greedy red heart

Otherwise you will
be banish to live alone
forever in dark

Where demons will haunt
you even when you sleep on
white cotton pillow

You must love insects
And humans and the sun and
moon as well as you

Stop hating yourself
Let go of your yesterday's
And live happily

The girl got into
the boat and sailed down the big
flowing brown river

Fishes jumped up
in the air over her head
Singing songs of love

A cloud in distance
Dispersed in millions bits
Butterflies fluttered

She shyly stepped on
land into a meadow of
sweet dandelions

She saw fluffy sheep
And a sky of flying crows
Surround a scarecrow

Tis then she knew her
life would be very different
She walked towards the

scarecrow who was dressed
in old rags and stuffed with straw
and wore an old hat

She reconized the
hat to be that of her late
father , a tear fell

upon her soft cheek
and for the first time ever
She grieved for her dad

I told my Dean how
much I love to watch birds fly
so gently in sky

To my surprise he
knew names of lots of birds from
when he was a boy

So together we
now study birds and wow we
saw a cute partridge

It was in a field
A light tan colour of sweet
Pecking at the grass

Then I saw a big
peacock it's big tail half shut
Walking round corner

Dean pointed out a
mallard duck was resting in
an old fields puddle

My favourite is a
wagtail I saw two , There so
tiny and so cute

Then there's the magpies
O what elegant fine birds
they are..just like queens

And we saw a cute
robin , aww it was hiding
in a twiggy bush

Yesterday the sun
shined we went for a lovely
walk with our three dogs

Albie wore a coat
Was colour of grey sky with
fluffy cloud Pom-poms

Jessie and Harry walked
along too , Harry is quite
crazy though , barks lots

And always wants to
be the leader but our  
Jess is a diva

She's petitely cute
But her growl says it all , they
sure won't mess with her

Seagulls flying high
Crows and pigeons too , was a
nice day yesterday

We finished our day
off with a lovely dinner but
it was made of cow

So vegan is now
rising to top of mountain
But taking its time :)

I really love square
window in Chalet Tis so
small with morning light

I best get up now
Ready for a new fresh day
Filled with cartoon fun :-)

So me and Dean have
just come back from milking the
cows and there mooing (paganpaul :D ) :-))

So we woke this morn
To a grey rainy pavement
And slushy wet mud

Our poor trainers have
Mothers Earth literally stuck
to bottom of souls

So I must invest
in some Wellington boots , yeap
makes total sense..yeap yeap

Albie  is peeing
like a watering can , his
driving us crazy

But he is so cute
and ***** he runs into
doors chairs and the walls

Because the weather
as been so rainy our clothes
are forever wet

So now we are just
wearing wet suits , we look like
seals in the ocean

Oh okay I'm just
being silly but hey it's
super super fun

The kids have gone home
Well older ones have ,yay more
food for me and Dean

Now this is the truth
Me and Dean had cheese on toast
topped with some brown sauce

And it was ******
lovely , dean had tea with his
and i had coffee

Oops a Massive dose
of caffeine oh no my brain
is in overdrive

Oh no that now means
i won't sleep tonight , ah well
I best read a book

Tis rainy today
But I'm inside with my dogs
where we are all warm

Dean and our children
have gone for a little *****
Spending time with smiles

I'm wrapped in a blanket
My doggies sleeping next to
me dreaming sweetly

I've just watched a film
It was a great film to watch
And I ate some crisps

My lovely sons girlfriend
bought me and Dean an Easter
egg and it looks yums

The rain is falling
Twinking down Chalet pane
The sky is all grey

I saw a raven
Wow it was a massive bird
Sitting on tin roof

O the grass is so
beautifully green with daisies
blooming everywhere

And even though it's
raining outside , today is
still a lovely day

cause the flowers are
growing and so are the trees
And the windows sing

We stayed in a house
A big cottage looking house
It was so lovely

I shared a room with
a girl in my class, we had
a room on ground floor

I loved the country
lanes it felt wonderful to
walk in to nature

At night the stars shined
brightly , o there was many
sparkling sweetly

Then I saw saucepan
A saucepan in shape of stars
Was god cooking din!

I realised today
I notice nature when young
But had forgotten

I can only see a
little memory it seems
very far away

But it's there somewhere
Floating by me like a cloud
on a sky blue day

But it hardly stops
And when it does it plays like
an old time movie

Until it runs out
Leaving just a blank screen where
a snubbed *** **** burns

I cannot stretch this
memory no more , but I'm
glad the saucepan stayed

O what an evening
There was traffic everywhere
And I sighed loudly

Always traffic at
the tunnel crossing , not
liking those big trucks

Dam! There like massive
big orges all with different
names and so many!!

But from a distance
The sun was setting nicely
And a orange I see

Cars headlights like stars
Sparkling under the night
It was beautiful

gather together for a
swimming pool party

Tyres make the rain back flip

I've been working lots
lately to earn extra cash
For when I marry

My Dean is my life

He is so funny

paying for my dress and my
bridemaids dresses too

I'm off on my hen
do in a few months , my Dean
paid for me to go

He has an heart of
an angel so kind and so
wonderfully lovely

I'm so excited
There be six of us going
Will be so funny

been together for over
thirty lovely years

And because of our
awesome children our wedding
is so happening <3
