It was so cold. Snow fell constantly, and ice formed over all the waters. The animals had never seen snow before. At first, it was a novelty, something to play in. But the cold increased tenfold, and they began to worry. The little animals were being buried in the snow drifts and the larger animals could hardly walk because the snow was so deep. Soon, all would perish if something were not done.

"We must send a messenger to Kijiamuh Ka'ong, the Creator Who Creates By Thinking What Will Be," said Wise Owl. "We must ask him to think the world warm again so that Spirit Snow will leave us in peace."

The animals were pleased with this plan. They began to debate among themselves, trying to decide who to send up to the Creator. Wise Owl could not see well during the daylight, so he could not go. Coyote was easily distracted and like playing tricks, so he could not be trusted. Turtle was steady and stable, but he crawled too slowly. Finally, Rainbow Crow, the most beautiful of all the birds with shimmering feathers of rainbow hues and an enchanting singing voice, was chosen to go to Kijiamuh Ka'ong.

It was an arduous journey, three days up and up into the heavens, passed the trees and clouds, beyond the sun and the moon, and even above all the stars. He was buffeted by winds and had no place to rest, but he carried bravely on until he reached Heaven. When Rainbow Crow reached the Holy Place, he called out to the Creator, but received no answer. The Creator was too busy thinking up what would be to notice even the most beautiful of birds. So Rainbow Crow began to sing his most beautiful song.

The Creator was drawn from his thoughts by the lovely sound, and came to see which bird was making it. He greeted Rainbow Crow kindly and asked what gift he could give the noble bird in exchange for his song. Rainbow Crow asked the Creator to un-think the snow, so that the animals of Earth would not be buried and freeze to death. But the Creator told Rainbow Crow that the snow and the ice had spirits of their own and could not be destroyed.

"What shall we do then?" asked the Rainbow Crow. "We will all freeze or smother under the snow."

"You will not freeze," the Creator reassured him, "For I will think of Fire, something that will warm all creatures during the cold times."

The Creator stuck a stick into the blazing hot sun. The end blazed with a bright, glowing fire which burned brightly and gave off heat. "This is Fire," he told Rainbow Crow, handing him the cool end of the stick. "You must hurry to Earth as fast as you can fly before the stick burns up."

Rainbow Crow nodded his thanks to the Creator and flew as fast as he could go. It was a three-day trip to Heaven, and he was worried that the Fire would burn out before he reached the Earth. The stick was large and heavy, but the fire kept Rainbow Crow warm as he descended from Heaven down to the bright path of the stars. Then the Fire grew hot as it came closer to Rainbow Crows feathers. As he flew passed the Sun, his tail caught on fire, turning the shimmering beautiful feathers black. By the time he flew passed the Moon, his whole body was black with soot from the hot Fire. When he plunged into the Sky and flew through the clouds, the smoke got into his throat, strangling his beautiful singing voice.

By the time Rainbow Crow landed among the freezing-cold animals of Earth, he was black as tar and could only Caw instead of sing. He delivered the fire to the animals, and they melted the snow and warmed themselves, rescuing the littlest animals from the snow drifts where they lay buried.

It was a time of rejoicing, for Tindeh - Fire - had come to Earth. But Rainbow Crow sat apart, saddened by his dull, ugly feathers and his rasping voice. Then he felt the touch of wind on his face. He looked up and saw the Creator Who Creates By Thinking What Will Be walking toward him.

"Do not be sad, Rainbow Crow," the Creator said. "All animals will honor you for the sacrifice you made for them. And when the people come, they will not hunt you, for I have made your flesh taste of smoke so that it is no good to eat and your black feathers and hoarse voice will prevent man from putting you into a cage to sing for him. You will be free."

Then the Creator pointed to Rainbow Crow's black feathers. Before his eyes, Rainbow Crow saw the dull feathers become shiny and inside each one, he could see all the colors of the rainbow. "This will remind everyone who sees you of the service you have been to your people," he said, "and the sacrifice you made that saved them all."

And so shall it ever be.

The strike of the rainbow warriors
After a few hours in the dark cages of horror we suddenly see a sharp light in the sky of evil. The golden goddess notices another ship coming towards the devils spike city.

At that moment the orange and black pirates run towards their  ships in dock and sound a long dark horn of terror. The golden goddess notices a large rainbow type ship sailing in firing laser rays at the pirates vessels of evil.

The ship sets into the dock of spike city while  some remaining  pirates get cut down and captured with blue laser nets of torture.  Our eyes  open with horror when  rainbow type creatures with bows and arrows jump out of the ship and circle our cages of horror.

A few of the black  pirate in the purple bushes try and shoot the rainbow warriors but get cut down with their laser fast arrows.  The commander of the rainbow warriors suddenly jumps down from the  ship and lifts up the cages with power and  ease while the warriors round up the captured pirates.

I comfort a shaking luitent megs while the commander shakes our hands before releasing the other golden warriors from their dark cage.  The horses bow their heads towards the commander while the golden goddess looks with hope in her beaten heart.

All of a sudden two rainbow warriors march out a swearing and aggressive woman  holding a long jagged sword and pirates armband. The rainbow warriors quickly zap her evil body  and hold her down tightly .  The golden goddess goes  over for a better look while her long tongue  of nails  cuts of a warriors head off  with ease.

The rainbow warriors  chop her evil tongue off with a swipe of the rainbow sword  before pinning her to the cold ground. two of the warriors then begin to peel  her black  dress of horror off while  other rainbow braves flock around.

A curious golden goddess peeps though for a better look while the warriors are  undoing her  small black studded bra of terror. The goddess looks on with a smile and twinkle while she screams in anger at her ******* bouncing in the dark cold night.

All of a sudden the commander comes inside the circle of torture  and begins removing her  devilish red ******* while the  warriors cheer and scream.  The golden goddess looks  on with  a content smile while  the  warriors chop her body up into bit with their  glowing swords.

After a few minutes the rest of the pirates are shot and executed with laser bouts  while we all sit watch with open mouths of  horror.  The commander then takes us aboard the rainbow ship of safety  while the pirates come back to evil spike city with four more pirate ships of torture.

We all sail across the red  evil sea towards a big large rainbow in the glowing  yellow sky whilst  being followed by two black  pirate ships.  Once we reach  through  the rainbows end we begin to notice the water  turning bright pink  and the pirate ships turning  back towards the red river of horror.

A relived golden goddess  turns towards her army and smiles while we we all jump about on the rainbow ship of safety.  I hold luitent megs tight in my arms while the green moon sets across the  blue landscape in the distance.

When life is beginning to go bad

And all your troubles seem to flow

All things happening make you sad

Follow your rainbow, follow your rainbow

When others are being so cruel

And you can not find someone to know

No one there to speak to you

Follow your rainbow, follow your rainbow

And when the times seem so tough

And you feel sad tears start to grow

Feel like you have had enough

Follow your rainbow, follow your rainbow

Follow your rainbow until you reach the end

Follow your rainbow and then you will see

Follow your rainbow to meet your friend

Follow your rainbow right to me

Drop of red,
Large orb in the sky of orange,
Sour yellow,
Soft lushes green,
Body's of wavy blue,
Romantic flowers of fake purple,
My Rainbow has bloomed.

Sweet red stripe,
Juicy orange fruit in my hand,
Bright Yellow petals,
Long green branches,
Silky blue scarf,
Deep purple bucket of hope,
My Rainbow has bloomed.

Red lace on a white dress,
Orange skinny swirls on a white dress,
Yellow collar on a white dress,
Green bow on the red lace,
Blue stripes on the green bow,
Purple string keep the whole outfit as one,
My Rainbow has bloomed.

My Rainbow is natural.
My Rainbow is the things I hold.
My Rainbow is my dress.

My Rainbow is me, is you, is everyone,
A Rainbow has bloomed over you.

The strike of the rainbow warriors part 2
We arrive in the  rainbow  land of mystery and see lots of rainbow people watching us while the  bight coloured green ship lands in the dock.  The golden goddess watches with delight when a golden sheet is laid down for  us to  walk upon.

The crowd  roars in laughter while our golden army is  taken down towards the big bright palace of illusions to meet the king of rainbow land.  After reaching the palace a guard dressed in bight orange  takes us through towards a big golden study.

A  confused white tiger looks around the strange bright  palace and starts  to feel very scared all of sudden at something in the air .  We all comfort the white tiger  while its mouth drops with shock at the moving roof above our bodies and the strange atmosphere .

All of a sudden  the king of the rainbow people walks in and stands next to his gold desk of power holding his bright hands towards the roof .  I hug luitent megs while the horses seem to become more concerned and unsure about the strange king  while the room begins to spin about.

The golden goddess suddenly grabs a door handle to escape but get thrown down upon the golden carpet by some sort of strange force .  At that moment the room becomes a mist of surprise and the windows have become metal shields of terror while we begin to run about looking for a means of escape .

We all stand in shock when the king transform's  into a large  pumpkin monster and his  bodyguards have  become  large fire breathing  dragon men with long  spiked tails.  The horses kick out at the dragon men's  bodies while they try and beat us down  but gets zapped by the king  laser gun of hatred .

The dragon men then escort us all towards another room with  yellow walls  while  the pumpkin king  throws  some magic powder over our scared  bodies of terror.  we promise to reveal the kings  secret to the rainbow people until a smiling  red witch with golden hair appears in the room and    says we will evaporate into dust  powder if we reveal  the secret  of the  pumpkin king.

All of a sudden a door opens and we are ****** out  inside the rainbow city with thousands of rainbow warriors cheering and clapping at our golden army.  We look with disbelief  while a  guard of rainbow people escort us towards our bight red hotel of multicoloured  glass.

Have the flower in your hand,

Cupped in rainbow rain drops.

See the electric wires blaze at the joined up parts,

Cupped in rainbow rain drops.

Feel the river's setiment move up stream,

Cupped in rainbow rain drops.

You cry and speak this rainy dew,

But does it mean anything of sentiment value to you?

You had the flower in your hand,

Cupped in rainbow rain drops.

You saw the electric wires blaze at the joined up parts,

Cupped in rainbow rain drops.

You felt the river's setiment move up stream,

Cupped in rainbow rain drops.

But do they mean anything of sentiment value to you?

I saw you have, had, feel, felt, see, and saw these special things,

But you never showed any attention to them.

Maybe you just sit and hide your thoughts from me,

Maybe you just can't notice these tiny details that happen every minute of everyday of every year.

Maybe you haven't discovered these miniature rainbow rain drops,

That you're covered in from head to toe, yet.

But you are cupped in rainbow rain drops.

Just beyond the rainbow,
where the sun shines so bright

Just beyond the rainbow,
there's an everlasting light

Just beyond the rainbow,
we'll find peace forevermore

Just beyond the rainbow,
is a bank that meets a golden shore

Just beyond the rainbow,
where the sky is forever blue

Just beyond the rainbow,
waits a paradise of life anew

Just beyond the rainbow,
there is a long lost friend

Just beyond the rainbow,
is where we shall meet again.

Chasing the rainbow
Where it starts
Where it ends
Like a dreamer...
I chase the rainbow

Chasing the rainbow
Vibrant colors in the sky
pretty and gay
the colors of rainbow
so bright.. shiny and wonderful...
the colors of life...

Chasing the rainbow
Sometimes it gives me hope
Like a promise...
Like  a journey...

Chasing the rainbow
Sometimes its too exciting...
All the beautiful things..
I see only in dreams...

Chasing the rainbow
hate the sunlight
My rainbow dissappears...
My dream scatters...
Like a life falling apart...

what have they done to you,
dear girl with the rainbow hair?

have they saddled you with their insatiable thirst for perfection,
my sweet girl with the rainbow hair?

have they demonized the ground you dare stand,
fearless girl with the rainbow hair?

have the non-believers tore you piece from piece,
my messed up girl with the rainbow hair?

the world will always tear you down,
tender girl with the rainbow hair.

you were never supposed to use your voice,
my deafening girl with the rainbow hair.

do not let them defeat you,
sweet heartbroken girl with the rainbow hair.

whilst machismo is still alive,
the girls will never be safe.

Let's meet at the end of the rainbow.
Where life is easy.

Let's meet at the end of the rainbow.
Where the days are golden and the nights are blue.

Let's meet at the end of the rainbow.
Where's no pain and no anger.

Let's meet at the end of the rainbow.
Where's our own fairytale.

Let's meet at the end of the rainbow.
Where we just can be, who we are.

Let's meet at the end of the rainbow.
Where feelings are free.

We never really know
What happens in a person’s home.
We can’t really know
What happens when they’re alone.
It’s every block and street
Even from those we trust to lead.
Too often parents turn
And simply refuse to even heed.

Crying and waiting for the rainbow
After seasons of so much rain.
It’s a heartbreak one must suffer
Waiting the rainbow to come again.

Not one in a million
There are far too many suffering
Not one in a thousand
Even if parents don’t know a thing.
Not one in a hundred
That is only one small percent.
They are the victims
And they never gave their consent.

Crying and waiting for the rainbow
After seasons of so much rain.
It’s a heartbreak one must suffer
Waiting the rainbow to come again.

Many think it’s a seldom thing
Yet it is too large a fraction of the whole
Robbing the children of youth
And taking away the basis of their soul.
They don’t want to admit it
But if they care about them, they must
Because abusing children is
A vile way to steal from them their trust.

Crying and waiting for the rainbow
After seasons of so much rain.
It’s a heartbreak one must suffer
Waiting the rainbow to come again.

If I were a Rainbow
The children would run to me
Turning upside down, I would be an iridescent swing,
The children would mount my rainbow wing

Swaying high up in the starry skies ascending on the moon
The children do bunny jumps, counting stars till noon
Awestruck and desirous they pick a few
The colours pink purple orange magenta and blue

Swaying down to the flower garden
They would pick flowers from the boughs laden
Threading in a star and a flower into  an ornamental  garland
Adorned as neckpieces , running around ,making one happy land

If I were a Rainbow
I would dismember all the semicircles making one hula hoop
The children would gleefully twirl and sway into the  enormous loop

If I were a Rainbow
I would become one big ramp
The children would joyously roller skate  up and down
Lighting up the ramp

If I were a Rainbow
And all of these came true
I would turn upside down making one radiant smile across the sky
The children would happily smile back at me , waving me good bye

"Once upon a time there was"
"Many moons ago"
"There was a dreamer"
Who wished with all her heart,
To find the gold at the rainbows end,
She would look for clouds
Her mother smiled.
"Are you still searching for that rainbows end"
"Pamela  your dreams are the clouds"
"Mummy a *** of gold I will find"
"For if you latch on to one"
"You will find yourself upon the other side""
Then one morning awoke to find a rainbow
Moving over her lawn,
On too, she had packed a case
Encase this time did come true,
She slid down the banister
Through the front door,
Just as it was fading
Hands did grab hold,
She was surrounded by colours
All were pure and bright, then with a
On her bottom she did land, surrounded
By beauty, plants the colours of the rainbow
"Blue leaves"
"Grass was orange"
Sky was all shades of the rainbow too,
A *** seen, gold did gleam,
Mouth wide open,
A violent fly flew in then out,
And she then quickly shut her mouth,
She was over the moon, the rainbow too,
She picked it up,
Lighter than she thought??
She picked one up
Put it too her mouth,
And bit,
It was squiggly in her mouth
Twice in two minutes,
She was
Did cascade from little eyes,
They came out
Colours of the rainbow
Which lightened her mood,
She wiped her tears looked once, twice
Then hands upon the rainbow,
And whoosh, she landed with a
On next doors cow,
Went the cow,
Went Pamela,
She ran with  a
As in the distance still hearing the angry
She ran to her house, opened the door,
With a fright her mum ran out,
"My baby are you all right"
"I found the rainbow"
"I found the ***"
"I found a land of colour,"
"But the treasure wasn't right"
All said with in one breathe,
Now breath my angel,
As mother did take a coin
Opened it carefully and with the tip
Of here finger tasted it,
So creamy, so light,
As she took her in the kitchen,
And the toaster minutes later
Spreading it evenly, and eaten was
The toast crust and all,
"Mummy may I try one"
Pamela said
"Magic words my honey bear"
"Please may I try one"
And with that the toast again
"My gosh mummy this tastes divine"
"You found a golden treasure that's for sure"
As they had toast each morning,
Opening a coin spreading it evenly,
"It was a taste to behold"
The treasure at the end of the rainbow,
Wasn't money, but I was something better
A taste that put a smile on faces
Every morning at *breakfast time.

at the other end of the gate, the first rainbow in years was right in front of me
it was whole, i could see both it's endings
totally ignoring the storm

i stopped and staired
rainbow, who are you?

i remember the story of Noah
and God telling: never this again

in my own storm, in which i somehow didn't die...
the rainbow was my light at the end of a tunnel
God reminding me he was still in charge
and every rainbow was a reminder of how He saved me

as time passed, the rainbow got a different meaning
it showed the universe approving of diversity
a single gay-parade marching down from heaven

and again, years passed
and a rainbow looking down on me from higher skies
reminding me of....
of what?

i'm probaly still gay
and God is still in charge
and Noah... he was still the last to see a total flood

and it just struck me
how even God sometimes needs a rainbow in order to forget His anger
how big the mess in earthly storms

the rainbow slowly disappeared into the dark
but some day it will be there
to remind me
of something else

One, Two, three punches to the brain
He tries but he can't hold the pain
So he lets go the only way he knows how
and let his Rainbow tears fall down

******, Queer, ***, circle him with fire
He feels them as they cut him like wire
He lets his face get covered in his rainbow tears
as he begins to show all his fears

Run, Run ,Run away and not look back
Don't think of them just run and don't look back
He sheds the rainbow drops but he smiles
After all the harsh treatment he still lives by the Rainbow Style

Rainbow tears dry
No longer he cries
He waves the seven colors with pride like he wanted to all those years
As they fall, happy Rainbow tears

They say after the rainbow,
come the *** of gold,
But if you look on my end,
You'd see treasure being sold.

All our riches are scarce,
For a drug and firearm
Why is there much danger
If we have not caused harm?

Yesterday, my son smiled
To a rainbow in the slum,
Knowing that it hasn't left,
Because this is where it comes from.

They say after the storm
Comes the rainbow,
Leaving us hope in life
Like a guardian angel.

If we stick together
To help one another
The slum will be
Prosperous again, my brother.

At seven months, my son smile
To a rainbow in the slum,
Knowing, that it hasn't left,
Because this is where it comes from.

Where it comes from?
Where it comes from?
Where it comes from?
Where it comes from?
Where it comes from?
A rainbow in the slum

people can never seen rainbow if they don't want to
i have never seen rainbow again 'cause it reminds me of you

Large, billowing willow trees surround a small meadow, leaving no way to get out. Their branches hang to the ground, the wind whipping them lazily. The green sprouts and leaves on the tips of the branches drag on the ground softly. The trees are so packed together that no sight can be seen through the trees, no escape at all. No one can enter, and no one can leave. The bark is brown, deep crevices made in its skin. The limbs skim over the ground, swaying ever so slightly. On the limbs hang nearly invisible webs spun by clever weaving spiders. The bright green grass wraps around the bark, swaying in the lazy meadow. In the middle of the meadow floats a high overhanging cliff, no part of it truly connected to the ground. Vines cover a structure, obstructing what the structure truly is. Bright pink and blue flowers decorate the vines, adding a serene feeling to the floating island and a floating smell of nectar is carried by the wind. A waterfall flows through the middle of the gates, the cool pure water falling into the pond directly below the waterfall. The pond is covered with ripples, although nothing seems to be obstructing the surface of the pond for the moment. Below the surface flows gentle weaves of seaweed, rainbow colored fish swimming between the strands. They would jump up, spreading small rainbows on dew drops into the sweet tasting air. The cloudless sky seems to sparkle in the setting sunlight, spreading pink and red strips across the sky. No birds fly in the small expanse of visible sky, yet a small nameless tune is heard, the wind carrying it all around the trees. The tune is light, and filled with what can only be known as joy.

The tune begins to change, losing the quality of light and joy and changing into a tune of sereneness and calm. The wind carries it through the meadow, pushing it against the dark trees. The leaves begin to fall, staining the ground at their feet different shades of red, gold and orange. The lost foliage does nothing to deter the packed trees from blocking any view outside of the circular meadow, leaving it in seclusion. The grass is turning into bright gold strands, folding unto itself as it sways in the gentle wind. The wind tastes like apples, although there is no fruit on the trees. The wind continues to flow, picking up the leaves and scattering them away from the base of the trees. The pond is covered with a few stray leaves, the ripples from said leaves turning and spinning as if they were dihedrals spun by small children. A harvest moon sends out a bright light, casting a rainbow onto the waterfall. The forever flowing waterfall continues to cascade down from the floating island as the rainbow continues to color the water. The rainbow fish’s scales have turned deep colors of red and gold, and they continue to break the surface of the pond, jumping to and fro. The vines still cover the cold, metal gate, blood red flowers covering the island in stunning beauty. The meadow seems to secrete a pleasant smell, sending waves of comfort and  tranquility to every blade of grass and falling leaf.

The grass disappears from view as the ground is covered in white, cold powder. The branches on the trees dip from the weight of snow and ice, their limbs brushing the ground in small sweeps. The crisp, biting wind does nothing to help the swaying, and instead blows across the ground, sending small flurries of the snow upwards bound. It circles around the frozen waterfall, every drop of purified water hanging in place, frozen in time. The island itself is covered in snow and white flowers, their color unadulterated. The vines seem to be dead, no longer living as they were before. The secret of the gates seem to be revealed, although barely. The gate remains locked, but the vines are cleared enough that the fenced in area can be seen. The area in the middle of the island is glowing, brightly colored with the beginning of the waterfall, the rainbow fish swimming in the small pool of water. The trees that are in the fenced in area are bright with life and colors, shining as if they were in the midst of spring and not winter. Petals from the flowers that decorate the vines and trees gently fall, landing on the icy surface of the pond. Silence invades the wintry meadow, crushing upon the meadow with great strength as the wind howls silently. The sky is pure black, the only light seen is the glistening stars, all shining as brightly as the northern star. Bright strips of rainbow appear in the sky, the aurora waving like the waves of the ocean themselves. Softly, stealthily a small tune is heard to only those truly lost in the meadow’s power. The tune is filled with what words can only describe as confusion as joy and peace meld with depression and war, hatred and love weaving in and out of the tune like a needle and thread. The tune is suddenly broken, and the meadow disappears, leaving nothing behind but darkness and emptiness until the cycle repeats another day.

Billy arrived when the
sky was all ******
"Sailors take warn
Red sky at dawn."

He never was a sailor
and he never awakened so early.
He stopped for a coffee
at a Brew and Blue

This is when he met
Rainbow - a hippie child
all stunted and rude.

"Enlightenment will never be mine"
Billy muttered as he climbed into the orange booth.
Eying Rainbow's *****.

Rainbow looked him over
she had seen one too many
dusty would be sailors.

But something about his
manner-gave her hope
for something that mattered.

They looked into each
other's eyes to find
two companions without

This rather shocked them
into disbelief but
life takes twists and
turns definitely different
than whatever we expect.

Billy was a screenwriter's
son with wealth and
Abandoning all fantasy
he claimed he rode
the rails in order to be free.

Rainbow raised by a bipolar
soul, who claimed never to know,
wandered aimlessly
with no where to go -
she had slept in stairwells
of stranger's homes - till
mother's flip was over
and she was taken to the car -
her new home, again.

Billy and Rainbow, as ridiculous
as it comes, tried to deny it,
but knew they had already begun.

It has slipped their minds
they were lovers from kingdom come.

Billy left and went
searching for other scars.
Rainbow sat on her
porch and searched the stars.

The train blew its whistle
at the crossing
and the rains began to come.

A week later, Billy was
back setting up a home,
waiting to find Rainbow
who had hit the road
searching for Billy,
that lost soul.

They both remembered
what had slipped their minds
being together was one
moment when life was

The epidemic of conformity consumes all
Children play by board game rules
Stifled by the world to paint a proper picture
They draw flowers of red with stems of green
Fields of wildflowers viewed as weeds enveloped in insecticides
Red, Orange, Yellow, Green, Blue, Indigo, and Violet
That is a rainbow, in that order alone
We are taught to live by the colors in a box of eight crayons
But even so, those colors cannot make a proper rainbow
A rainbow should be praised if drawn in mixed-breed hues
That field of flowers, natures pallet
We should begin with a box of 124 and grow infinitely
Where lilac dragons can live in cherry trees
Where those waist-high weeds hide the predator from the prey
For where would we be without cops and robbers, or hide and seek
In a world where out of sight incites widespread panic
Children's laughter in the sun is slowly silenced by the rules
Instead, embrace the joy and encourage creativity
We should harbor imagination and develop unreality
For it is there that is born the ideas that will form the future

Have you heard of the rainbow story
With a *** of gold at the end?
Such incredible tale of hope,
A positive message to send.

As children, we’d see a rainbow
And remember the tale of old—
Longing to find the rainbow’s end
To discover the *** of gold.

But there is a rainbow for all
As life’s opportunities come.
And those are the ones we chase,
Where such ‘gold’ might be from.
And hope is sparked after all these years
Whenever a rainbow appears.

I am driving.
The day has been long and frustrating.
My shirt is cold with sweat, still damp on my salty skin.
I was supposed to be in the shower right now.

My brother needed to be picked up from work.
"I can't do it, I'm cooking," my mother said.
So I went.

The road twisty and soaked with rain;
I was irritable--
Today had not been an enjoyable one.

As I was driving,
I looked out,
To my left.

I saw a rainbow.

A full arc,
One hundred eighty degrees of beauty.

Scientifically, there's nothing very special about a rainbow.
It's just water vapor, reflecting white light, refracting it into the color spectrum,
Which we see before us.

Nothing very special.
Seventh grade science, really.

But I found great comfort in the rainbow today.
Funny, the colors are all divided, yet united, one next to the other.

Maybe we should stand more like rainbows.

Funny, that first there must be a storm, some kind of adversity,
And out of it, something beautiful emerges.

Maybe we should react more like rainbows.

Maybe we should be rainbows.

Reflect the light in our lives,
All of it.
Don't just absorb and reflect back only some.
Reflect it all.

Rainbows are fleeting, though.
All beauty must fade,
Nothing gold can stay,
Or so I'm told.

Why be a rainbow?

Why not?

Why not be someone's source of solace in their time of stress?
Why not shine your glorious light unto them?
Who are you to be so selfish?

I tell you--
Be a rainbow.

Give me your soul, heart and hands
Give me your wildest dreams
Let's ride the train to where the rainbow lands
We just need to follow the beams

It's a one ticket ride
But new friends are waiting on board
You don't need to be shy and hide
Today is your day, just look at the colourful road

Think of something, and make a wish
Directly when we reach the blue
You could be famous you could be rich
Anything in your mind will become true

Orange is for happiness
Something blue can't give you
Neither money nor greatness
It's rare, but not contained by few

Don't you ever mix orange with blue
Or you will get brown
Then instead of happiness, depression will be a glue
And that might nock you down

If you wounder what does violet represent
"Your childhood and past"
All those years you have spent
You will feel like they were a blast

Red is for romance
Love, passion and forgiveness
"I love you" it's not hard to pronounce
But only if you had the guts and patience

Try to mix violet with red
You will find purple all around
Your first love will fill your head
And you will dance till you shake the ground

When sadness take over, know that it's grey
Your heart beat will start to fade
But God is in your side so start to pray
All your problems will turn to shade

Every colour has its own story
Its own symbol, its own taste
And on that rainbow, each got its own territory
Its own look, and its own rate

So come on and mount the Rainbow Train
Lets follow a colourful beam
With no stops, with no 'U' turns
It'll fly with its colourful rainbow steam

The sounds of a Rainbow
Don't you just love the sounds the
Rainbow makes?
But rainbows don't make sounds
You say.
They shine brightly in the sky
But I cant see I'm blind.
So I hear the rainbow instead.
Every color has its own sound
Red comes from the anger of
Two people fighting.
Orange comes from the soft
Munching noises as people
Enjoy the delicious food.
Yellow is the construction man
Working on the road
Green is the busy beeps, and rings
Of all the busy people on there
Blue comes from the wailing baby
With tears coming down its face.
And Purple is the children's laughter
That echoes through the world.

All the sounds alone are nothing to you
But all the sounds together make a rainbow
For me.
that's why I smile all the time because I can
Hear the rainbows in the room,
But why would I smile ate people fighting
And a baby crying.
Because a rainbow only comes after rain.
Im happy like a raindbow
which ends with a *** of gold
Im greatful like a raindbow
which is glad its colourfull
Im laughing like a rainbow
which is happy
Im joyful like a rainbow
having fun like the clouds
Im cheerfull like a rainbow
which twinkles in the sky
Im incredible like a rainbow
which lights up te sky
Im loving like a rainbow
which males your day
Im nice like a rainbow
because in a sight of happyness

Trivial beauty holds me captive as i sit near the flower
Reaching towards it, marveling at the colorful rainbow
It flaunts its
Sheer beauty,
Having it wave with the breeze
As i watch

The stripes came to take the juice
And then left to spread more
Lo, the beauty of the stripes and the beauty of its job
I followed. leaving the flower.
Ever so noisily, It buzzed, harmonically, lovingly

it danced in ways that intrigued me
so i left the flower
to pursue my bee
it took me to its hive
but disappeared back to join the others
back to its life
back to her lover
ditching me.

time flew by and by dark
the flower still glows with its rainbow color
no matter what comes to it
it holds itself tall and proud
it stayed in place
waiting for me to come
such purity
i watch

Dawn of fall came, and i opened my ears
As a yellow flower sang nearby
Nevertheless, a sunflower
Ah, yellow was such a pretty color

flower of the sun, reflecting the most powerful object in our vision
this flower had the qualities to shine like one
for it shined so brightly during the day
i started to watch this flower instead
and sing to it, hoping it would grow
cared for it with everything i had
but i failed to find it during the night
for it changed throughout the month, throughout the day
soon i found my efforts were nothing
and that the sunflower was always in its own flock

the yellow flower is still there
always will be
but its petals always faced something else
in the opposite direction
and as soon as i come close to getting it
it turns away, mimicking its sister,
the bee

summer came
and the rainbow flower, it was still here
it never left
confused, i sat
i became sad
why did i leave this flower, ever?
it still stayed
so i've decided to stay.

A horrible love note
Deceived me not with your whims,
Act not as if you are a rainbow
to save me from my grim.

But yes, may be you are,
Because like the rainbow,
where are you when my heart
is heavily arrowed by rains?
Kicking my *** to come up with a positive write about rainbow. As what I was trying with my previous post. But this is what i've got.

And this is exactly the reason why I love rain more than anything else.

Diss the rainbow, show a finger to the parades,
the many words of happiness and encouragement to the
LGBTQ community; grumble as much as you please
and go rot in your little cave of solitude while
the rest of the world celebrates
one small step for humanity;
a massive leap for us all.

No matter what negativity you have to spread,
(especially all you shameless people grouching about other countries
while you do absolutely nothing to make a change),
your hate makes no difference, for
So happy and so proud for the LGBTQ community of USA and really hoping for the same happiness for the people in my country :)

A rainbow is a beauteous thing,
Its wonder we behold!
And ponder if we’d ever find,
The elusive *** of gold.

If it were not for the sunshine,
And the clouds upon the sky.
There would not be such colours,
Such beauty by and by.

There would not be the promise,
That is in every stroke.
There would not be the wonder,
Of the mercy God bespoke.

And how often do we miss it?
The elusive rainbow not see?
And just keep travelling onwards,
That through the *** of gold we would be free.

But freedom comes from the beauty,
Of the sunshine and the clouds.
The journey that we travel,
The joy and troubles found.

They each compliment the other,
Would bring out our true colours see?
And create a beauty more wondrous,
Than any other you would see!

So friend as we would travel,
This journey of our life.
Lets remember the beauteous rainbow,
The promise of eternal life.

Lets know that through our troubles,
We would just require the rain.
And soon will come the sunshine,
To bring out our beauty again.

And through this wondrous beauty,
Others too perhaps may see
The gold is in the rainbow,
The end is where we be.
