"harlots" poems
For now the winter bites Breath stolen by the cold fingers Of the nights frost Hanging in the still air We shall return to our motherland Victoria is the name Pressed onto cracked lips Let the fire of saviour burn tonight As we prepare For thine enemy shall taste The cold arrows Peirce the breast of harlots As we march Bear skin warms our back And norse songs pound inside souls Of brave warriors Beneath the silver moon March march march Until this land is free again And we return To the love of the Summer angel

When did Wishes become as commonplace as pennies in Fountains? When did Unicorns stop dreaming? In a place where Unicorns can Dream And Stars are Paths And Fat Orange Cats are Sullen Irish Dancing Potatoes With Biscuit Legs and Waterfall Eyes With an Everything complex Due to feeling the Absence of all Whilst having felt an overwhelming Nothing And Ant Butt's full of Honey and Air Pirouette and bend their slim Amber eyed head backwards To see such hopeless Unicorns Dreaming of Trollops and Almosts who don't know what Mermaids are Mermaids that only Sing Underwater And watch Sullen Irish Dancing Potato Boy With Biscuit Legs and Waterfall Eyes And an Everything complex Because Garfield can't figure out If Fat Orange Cat is okay with loving Selfish Harlot Mermaid Or not Maybe we should all just stay Honey-Eyed Harlots And Hero Twin Flames Maybe the penny can be a Wish And the Star's dust pathways And Unicorns can see black instead of Dreams.

Mermaids and Ant Butts and Unicorns and Garfields
I wander thro’ each charter’d street. Near where the charter’d Thames does flow A mark in every face I meet Marks of weakness, marks of woe. In every cry of every Man. In every Infants cry of fear. In every voice; in every ban. The mind-forg’d manacles I hear How the Chimney-sweepers cry Every blackening Church appalls. And the hapless Soldiers sigh Runs in blood down Palace walls But most thro’ midnight streets I hear How the youthful Harlots curse Blasts the new-born Infants tear And blights with plagues the Marriage hearse

Long days seem so much longer. Distance does not make the heart grow fonder. You’ve conquered the empire of my subconscious. Your crusade so short, Yet I hope your reign continues for eons. We’re far past passive flatteries, Instead, we fill each other’s hearts with vows. You mean them now, But what about a few months? What if you decide I’m not what you want? The torment I am slowly approaching, Consumes my distant soul. I can hear the sounds of futuristic loathing, From when you decide this love has taken it’s toll. So tell me. How can I pay this inevitable toll? How can I save us from Cupid’s malicious tyranny? His arrow is too far lodged within me, I cannot remove it. I can only push it farther and farther Into my heart until it falls out of my back. But this arrow, trenchant. Cupid, the sharpest of marksmen. Yet colorblind, he is. He sees not what colors his targets represent. He draws his bow for the pure love of marksmanship. Sometimes, yet not often, He will hit the intended target. But the odds are scarce. His subjects are often punctured, And connected to one whom reciprocated Fate’s desire. Yet this time… This time… Cupid must have hit a target of Fate’s approval. For thrice he has missed. This time He and Fate are in sync. This wound may stretch over time, But the arrow shall remain firmly lodged within my ***** ***** and immovable. Until you kick it through my backside. But until then, I can only endure. I can only be woo wounded. I can only survive, Another ambush of the militant called Cupid. But I will do it for you, For by you, I’ve been so divinely seduced. Wooed by your lips. Not by your kiss, But by the music, Which your mandibles so express. I desire not to seal this wound, But to evade its’ repercussions. For I have endured a similar wound thrice. He is winged as if an angel, Yet Was Lucifer not once an angel as well? Cupid is an impostor. A spy of Agony, himself. He prays on the young, the old, the strong, and the weak. He cares not who he obliterates in his crusades. He is a bloodthirsty heathen. He makes scoundrels of Saints, And Harlots of Housewives. Saint Valentine is no Saint. He is Satan’s nightmare. At first, his arrows are ecstasy, But like a cancer, His poison-saturated arrows Seep deep within every crevice of your body. They consume you as if enriched with ****** And eventually rot within your ***** Until it is nothing but dust and a memory. One day I will assassinate Fate’s Malicious militant, The one we call Cupid.

Captain Scarlet Had a weakness for harlots Who always wore scarlet as well. This could sound The death knell For the show Thundered Gerry. It's so deleterious I'm deadly serious Less of the hoes And more Thunderbirds Are Go. Captain Scarlet's Favourite starlet However Was no harlot Even though she always wore Scarlet as well But it was quite difficult to tell That she was not so Even if one was very clever. Unlike Bobby Shafto.

Captain Scarlet's Starlet And Harlots In Scarlet
Mother bear in a waterfall With bigger thoughts than blonde harlots Eating porridge, Fallen starlets with outer space in their hair. Just you wait; I'll be the happiest little sonofabitch You've ever seen. Some small consolation, if any. That weekend we spent with our Necks perpendicular to our spines, Of course I still remember the films we watched. I condition my hair with split infinitives And live off the poisoned dew that settles Every morning in my closet. Turn your little black dress inside-out, I've got this magic idea for a recipe But we're going to need some ants And that crazy Harryhausen dream you've got up in your attic. Ten or twelve little blond kids up On the cliff, each ten or twelve years old And dancing with a flame-Buddha called "Home". Let's spend this week underwater, I'd much rather give up my weight and my due If it ensured me any small hour With you. Oh, god how I love you anymore. I may have told you this a while ago, But did you know the first Pledge of Allegiance Put us some good height above God? Sometimes I find the sugar in my gas tank Makes for a rough start in the morning, Not that I particularly want to go anywhere, But it's what I've thought that counts. He's a bit upset that I skipped movie last night: But I can't play horizontal baseball With my violent, violent imaginary friend. The Rubik's cube beats deep in my chest Without a hand to cheat and rearrange the stickers. Claude enunciates something queer into my ear And turns off the lamp with a snap.

the ghosts around your moist lips clipping the sweet drench of our limp wish.... the spectral harlots of our far lit lamps and the damp parlors of our damaged camps pitched. the pit of our peaches, fussing the cuff of our sap. the honey bonds - of our wayward damp runes...   that we caste  to undo any telling of our demise, to save our precious myth. to keep our ruse amused... my darling... goodnight... though nothing is good and we have only the night.... goodnight. i will trouble you no more but labor to keep your sweet grief mine. to contend with your unending medallions of perfect regret, to pass your palm with silver drek, the likes of which your liking, may learn to kiss with two lips at dead stop. if this is the end tremble and be trembling. our disassembling locks our open door and nothing more than vanishing remains, where our appearance mocks the same. goodnight... though nothing is good, and the light is a darkness, a trump of knives and a far thing, up too close to save a prayer for the plight of fools and just too far to pry our hands from live grenades... to live for. but to die yes.

Bang! Bang! The sounds of gun shots mid-day on Thursday, Sirens getting closer to the crime scene, Just two weeks ago a man's life was terminated for a cellphone, More thugs and more gun fires, the tragedy so bad it even appeared in the news. But today i can feel fear creeping in my vains, Another man shot dead today, why do i have to live in this community? For i am afraid. Few months ago it was just like an action movie, people running and rolling while the loud sounds from the police guns aiming over my roof top kept on going Bang! Bang! I see the police patroling the streets by day, having picnics in the park while they watch their horses eroid away the soil. They feast to some take away outlets filling their sagging bellies by night. While they letting the just go unpunished all year long, Oh! It hurts. I feel a bullet on my chest, Oh! It hurts for i cannot look through the dark night anymore. I sit on the side of this wide classroom window, And i wonder, What if one bullet comes straight to me. (God forbid) Oh this township that i loved, you are not safe anymore. Where can i run to for i called you home? There is no distance further gone  without any loud sounds; Bang! Bang!      Oh mam' ngiyalil'      ngililel' labo abangasek'      ikakhulukaz' imphil' yam'      umphefumul' ongenacal'      kungab' sewabayin' wena             dolobh' lami. I called your name, with so much pride and bragging, but now i cannot even say your name for you have groomed thugs, gangsters, vindals, drug addicts and drug dealers, harlots... And what else that we do not know? Could it be blood sacrificies, are these the 'EndTimes' proclaimed in the book of Revelations, Why should i bother trying to think when all i hear in my head are ecoing sounds Bang! Bang! All i need to do  is to find a way out,     Nyawozam' ngibeleth' !     Ngob' inhliziy' ayisahlalisekang'     qobo when will that day be, when crime will be stopped for good, and police do justice to the community?

Governors, Mayors, Policemen, Night keepers, Men folk and all of you On the crest of powers that be Don’t brutalize prostitutes, Nor mishandle ****** Or terrorize harlots, They were born natural Innocent and callow With plain white brains Not tainted with any miss-morals, Genuine in hearts And humane in the genesis, Until they grew up Beyond father and mother Clan and relatives, Into the realm of money civilizations, Where man and woman, Must sell to survive, Sell the wares of trade, Commodities and tools of work, Where men sell labour of their arms To those crafty buyers, And women sell smiles, And the ******** of their ***** To serve vice of man In the glory of warped thought, Prostitutes have no tribe, Neither class nor race, They have no permanent foe Nor permanent friend, They have no permanent memory, Their love is devoid of logic, They love most but fickle, Where they make no money And love least but with nostalgia where they make money, So don’t brutalize them, Only love them, Pay them, Kiss them fondly And sing to them, Lyrical songs of love, Sent them to lull and slumber With your sensuous ****** Of their ******** fountains, Both male and female ****** of your rendezvous.

DON’T BRUTALIZE PROSTITUTES
****** means "sheath". Oh, how tiresomely sexist, this utility. **** is a sharp word, but it will only ***** you if you so insist. And ********** means "to stand in for the Goddess" -- both Mother and ***** Fertility cults of Babylon hailed Ishtar, the young Sophia. In Sumerian times they did call Her Inanna, who shed Her jewels. Solomon the Wise did wed Her in his temple, and wrote Her a Song. At Her temple gates await the harlots, smiling: yours for but a coin. Sacred silver thrown, a rite of passage. Some wait. Some wait longer still. Wisdom works through them. The hierodules of Heaven beckon, honeysweet. "Come to the temple, let us dance the timeless dance, my Lord Dumuzi!" Rosy cheeks and lips, shamelessness in Her power. Passion at its peak. Too **** for words. Men feared Her and wrought cages, misdirected blame. Mary, the chaste one, is an abomination. Half, and the lesser. A neutered Mother with a ****** for swords, a scabbard for men. The Grail was stolen from between Her holy thighs. Paul was such a **** A **** who feared Her, Mystery of Death and Blood. Much more than a sheath.

in my city, my pretty pretty city, People lock their doors driving through my pretty pretty city. in my city, my pretty pretty city, Dogs are the kings in my pretty pretty city. in my city, my pretty pretty city, Harlots bargain with panderers in my pretty pretty city. in my city, my pretty pretty city, Felons avoid the police by hiding in schools, in my pretty pretty city. in my city, my pretty pretty city, Eye contact is discouraged, in my pretty pretty city. in my city, my pretty pretty city, Walking alone can be the biggest mistake you ever made, in my pretty pretty city. Oh- but in my city, my pretty pretty city, the sea sends you salty, sandy kisses, in my pretty pretty city. Oh- and in my city, my pretty pretty city, the railroad tracks take you to Zion from my pretty pretty city. Oh- in my city, my pretty pretty city i have left behind my blood and promises to return. Oh- my city, in my pretty pretty city, hearts break, while others mend, tears fall, while smiles are conceived, hate roams, while lovers love, fear attacks, while fortitude prevails, Oh- my city, my pretty pretty city, that's where i belong.

An Ode To Watts.
Roar of the rushing train fearfully rocking, Impatient people jammed in line for food, The rasping noise of cars together knocking, And worried waiters, some in ugly mood, Crowding into the choking pantry hole To call out dishes for each angry glutton Exasperated grown beyond control, From waiting for his soup or fish or mutton. At last the station's reached, the engine stops; For bags and wraps the red-caps circle round; From off the step the passenger lightly hops, And seeks his cab or tram-car homeward bound; The waiters pass out weary, listless, glum, To spend their tips on harlots, cards and ***

On the Road
Antagonism burgeons back bad blood. Compatriots, courtesy can cool contentions: doubly, disrespect demands decisive execution. Early efforts evolved fatuously, force facilitated farcical fighting. Gambling gents gleefully gored hedonistic harlots. Harassing ignorantly, igniting jealously, killings listlessly- liars lament momentarily. Meanwhile, monetary nuances of opulence obscure prime problems. Quarries quake running red. Remembering solitarily- stoic steeds stand silent, sending thoughts, unbidden, unbeknownst. Violence: we were xanthic, yellow years yaw… Zymotic.

I guess It's my duty to express Unpopular opinions But The only man I want Leaving things In my stockings Doesn't wear red He doesn't have a beard And he's not fat He's my Guy With top shelf On sale For half price I only know Two things about mistletoe 1. I've never parted My mouth inside of Its shadow 2. It would probably **** to smoke I don't need no fancy christmas trees With lights, and stars, and hypocrisies I've got hybrid harlots creeping Down into the pink of My cigarette kissed lungs

There is no dusk in this city penetrated by the raging Potomac, Night just crams itself in and rapes the day dry - lays her flat against the horizon. Mothers and children run for covers and put each other to sleep; in a few hours harlots and nighthawks will do the same. Sweet Siren You are this city Petticoated and pretty, Cunning and stunning Winking and blinking Red Yellow Green eyes popping open like sunken headlights, Ready for the night. I hear your wailing red-flashed and flaming like an open heart, piercing the black with it's plea. I feel your pulse-pumping red corpuscles thrusting me deep into lusting for things forbidden and hidden Somewhere inside this neon wonderland. Sweet Siren, Sing your teasing tunes for me Deliver me from your shelters and streets, Where infidels and angels Fall at your feet. Sweet Siren, Deliver me to the Trembling shelter of your sheets. Liars and their lies roam this concrete jungle begging for love and razors and other disposable items. You go screaming passed them though, determined to save at least one numb drunk *** in some rain cleansed back alley of vices; only to fool your own conscience with the lithium laced smile of charity. Sweet Siren Quiet your angry shrill to a hush The tarmac and taxis are tired of us And your princes and saviors have fled this town. Sweet Siren, It's time for us to burn this city down And leave the ashes For the thieves and the clowns.

Allow me to be bold- brave prying eyes and bare all. Allow me to tamper with excommunication- to tempt ostracism- to tease trouble by talking of taboos... speaking of shushed subjects- oh, society's little secrets, the ones we're all willing to share. Allow me to expound on the lessons parents never wanted to teach- the lessons children are so eager to learn. The very act- the very word- that induces giggles, inspires poets, excites lovers, and makes or breaks "true bliss." "Ladies and gentlemen of the jury, exhibit number one is what the seraphs, the misinformed, simple, noble-winged seraphs, envied. Look at this tangle of thorns." -V.N *** a word constructed of three of the twenty-six letters that make the English language go round. On their own, quite harmless, but collectively- a jaw-dropping, blush-inspiring, shush-provoking combination. *** the ultimate caricature of love and all that is romantic- oh, just look at this tangle of thorns. Tangled- because we have turned the beauty into a beast- taken "the two will become one"- and rationalized- two will always be two- Not you, me or me, you. No, nothing bad can come of this. *** used to make lies beautiful and truth obscured. Sold in society- the promoter of skin- condemned in the church- discouraged as sin. All the while, teenagers are toppling around- neck deep in lust- desperate to be loved- fumbling- tumbling into the open arms of the ultimate outlet. *** a shallow solution to a deeper problem- a gift given, unwrapped, re-wrapped, and given again. Allow me to attempt to untangle these thorns- when does making love become wrong? When it makes heroes into harlots and turns the righteous into romantics- when it complicates the uncomplicated? When it manipulates insincerity to seem sincere- liberates itself from simple mathematics, why, the more the merrier, and forgets three's a crowd? Ladies and gentlemen of the jury, allow me to be ridiculed- expose myself as a hypocrite and define: It is when *** is misconstrued as a mere act of "love" that it becomes a crime.

The Tangle Of Thorns

Golden skies and grass greens, ribbons and threads and legacies, heavens and harlots, power and age. It's all flames in the end, isn't it? All words, all swords, fall so, perfectly. And like a cancer, you can eat the cigarettes' so sweetly, all the champagne flowing so freely, And when we wait for our Paris. Life makes you intoa a creatures below, surprisingly like mosquito in summer eating in the garden of fire, to live happily. It's all smokes and shadows tomorrow, and it falls like a cold shaped drink, like a dollar swinging, settling, hoping to be taller, but falling in our hangover and faded like-memories in the black morning, of anxiety and sorrow. Just eating in the garden of fire, dragons, vampires, pirates and scabies. All from a broken shaped bottle with ***** like choices, liars of empires, sweats of angels and children, it all flames in the end, in the garden of fire, isn't it? But when the wind turns north, will you turn and know, when the rich and the wicked find no more? If we slowly find the money isn't the answer to all things, and the battles, bills, and blessings don't become our idols maybe eternity, will overflow, we can lie down in grass so green, and like mountains, like kings, we will find happiness so free. Surely in meadows and forests, witches and wickedness, anger and bitterness, will be song so forgotten once we are so free. We will eat the richest cheese, running into homes of orphans, we can cause them to be such kings, alive and well and so happy. Before the end truly comes, in time and reason, a new healing, king and throne, with eyes so weary, knees and backs so heavy, we will remember, like a song so catchy, a life set free.

Sailing expensive fried food, 'cross awful carpets so crude, A bright sunny strong attitude, This lovely young Lady's fine mood... And customers, often quite rude, Dummies that drag in their brood, Scrooges and harlots half **** Still can not drag down her mood. For this is not where she will stay This will be, soon, yesterday She is her own sunshine ray She plans her own life her own way Studying hard every night To strengthen her mind she will fight, Managing well, money tight, From her might, to height, and the light.

Ode to my Waitress
Something would come of it yet The last cocaine-wild, cosmic amphetamine eyes Howled down the eastern hills To the city’s beckoning lights Tramps and harlots light fire from their palms Blown pupils dark in love sick, longing eyes Growing with the wild, restless wind In lustful, glamorous disguise And there the angel of the evening Sat upon the sultry heat As troubadours gaze into the mirror She pours them pills in restless fleets And as the city settles And the western wind starts to blow The dizzy euphoria sinks away As their vision starts to close So dawn breaks the singing night The buzzing high leaves the blood The poets and painters Let their stream of consciousness flood Torn rhymes cover the wall Where artists and addicts have met Where splattered tunes had brayed Something came of it yet.

Cosmic Amphetamine
I see the cockroach caress the counter next to a brewing *** of coffee, striking a chord of crystaline sweetness, that God and Satan could both agree upon. In the living room, my best friends are killing each other, kissing each other, falling in love, snagging, splitting stitches, chalk outlines, black mail, and hopes for a resurrection swirl and spin with the scent of perfume and coffee beans. My phone lights up with a message asking for some real advice, my response is to get a new religion, and wait for the bombs to fall. Outside light pollution fills the sky, an eerie day that just won't die, negotiating with eager streetlights, and all-night diners. On the corner of 23rd and Western, a dancing grinderman, a homeless woman with a snaggletooth smile, and their prize of a monkey are cutting the night with desperation croons, and delightful foresight. Just past the construction on the east side of the city, a one-legged, heathen named James W. Green is finding solace with a defeated, overthehill harlot, going to and fro in a motorized sanctuary, and grabbing change from her coin-dispensing hips. I discover a pen embedded in the carpet, I spend the rest of the evening split between Midnight Man poetry, and dictating divine apocrypha, while once bright-eyed friends of mine mourn over marriage, self-medication strategies, and scrape the bottom of the barrel with their tongues to ensure it's tangible.

of chalk outlines, heathens, and harlots
they shine like angels fallen from above to tempt the eyes of frail men broken trail of wingless years eyes betray a lonely heart and hope to make it full at last they long like sirens calling from afar to turn a foot by fatal lyre faithless fickle hearts of men leave voids unfilled by unshed tears and ache to wipe the fears away they lay like harlots waxed and oiled primped and preened to light the hearts of fallen men and tempted, turned, take them away to darkness fill the longing, close the void break the long and hard divide but moments pass the deed is done and into stupor all undone the cracked and broken flee so we sit like demons teeth spread wide with a halo on the jaws of hell
