There is snow on the ground,
And the valleys are cold,
And a midnight profound
Blackly squats o'er the wold;
But a light on the hilltops half-seen hints of
feastings unhallowed and old.

There is death in the clouds,
There is fear in the night,
For the dead in their shrouds
Hail the sun's turning flight.
And chant wild in the woods as they dance
round a Yule-altar fungous and white.

To no gale of Earth's kind
Sways the forest of oak,
Where the thick boughs entwined
By mad mistletoes choke,
For these pow'rs are the pow'rs of the dark,
from the graves of the lost Druid-folk.

And mayst thou to such deeds
Be an abbot and priest,
Singing cannibal greeds
At each devil-wrought feast,
And to all the incredulous world
shewing dimly the sign of the beast.

Out  in dusk,in the sunset
The flakes invisible go
The wind goes on
As fast as the star slows
Out in dusk,in the sunset
The cold greeds you
Needs your comfort
Wants your warm instead
Out in dusk,in the sunset
The Moon ,your soul dances
Behind the sun,beneath your smile
Out in dusk,in the sunset
Dark and light,in a spot they meet
Makes you jealous,away a spark
Hides your breath,above twilight
Out in dusk,in the sunset!

Vegas Baby

Eating sushi,
in the center at the top of the pyramid,
this is The Life,
point blank period.

Hamachi Ahi,
uni unagi,
we eat everything,
up to the last big fish in all the seven seas,
seven seas seven sins,
at the table gamblin’,
wash it all down with all green everything,
green dollars green eyes,
green grass green tea,
from poor to rich tables turn lights switch look how the pendulum swings.

Eating sushi,
in the center at the top of the pyramid,
this is The Life,
point blank period.

Built on the backs,
of high hopes and low self esteems,
where every game is fixed,
and sits upon a million broken dreams,
see I’ve seen,
a man lose everything due to his greeds,
in his passionate pursuit to procure his wants,
he lost all of his necessary needs,

see,
this is Vegas Baby,
where bad things seem good,
and good things seem shady,

though luckily,
I’ve mastered the art of the sin,
so I rarely play,
and when I do play I play to win,
loaded dice cards up my sleeve,
I know the dealer and I paid off the magician,
for I am one of those,
who made it to the top of the pyramid,
so now I sit in a penthouse suite with a sweet freak in my sheets at the Luxor,
I told you before this is The Life point blank period.

Eating sushi,
in the center at the top of the pyramid,
this is The Life,
point blank period.

As I soak,
my bruised bones and my blood diamonds,
in a bubble bath of passionfruit and guava,
this is no joke I exude The Good Life without even tryin’,
my karma mixed with my commas brought me to nirvana,
no Kurt Cobain,
just hurt and pain,
mixed up with this money made my a monster,
no Meek Mills,
or weak wills,
just this student from the School of Hard Knocks that graduated with honors,
some how,
so now,
I’m swimmin’ in endorphins with a princess no tiara,
no tomorrow,
no time to borrow,
and I Bet we’re gonna make Love *** Magic no Future or Ciara,

that’s a pop reference,
if you didn’t get it yet,
Future Ciara I Bet,
Love *** Magic trick,

or treat,
see,

there’s tons of puns and subliminal messages,
in almost ever line I write,
sometimes the sublime subliminals are so subtle,
that I don’t even catch them they escape no alibi,
copy cat killers,
can imitate but never copyright,
they’re just imitation fillers,
while my literature stays genuine,
all illegitimate posers attempts at insight,
pale in comparison to my legitimate ledgers of time,

I’m,
often imitated,
but never duplicated,
I’m,
the Word of God,
plus what Satan said this,
is,
the balance of extremes,
forearms tattooed with pitchforks,
back tatted with angel wings,
this is what happens,
when fashion meets passion,
this is a combination of everything and everything,
this is it that is all,
I am infinitely everything,

and I meditate on all of this,
right here at this restaurant as they stare,
an American dream living legend,
awake in a never-ending nefarious nightmare.

Eating sushi,
in the center at the top of the pyramid,
I told you this is The Life,
point blank period… ∆

Volume 1 of my new trilogy about Hollywood is now available worldwide.
I’ve decided to donate ALL of the profits of this new trilogy to three charities.
Volume 1 profits will go to a charity that prevents abuse and ****** assault on children.
Please support my new book and by doing so you’ll not only be helping prevent ****** assault, but you’ll also be helping set an important precedent in making a statement to other artist,
saying that we all need to start giving back and helping each other more than we have.
PLUS you’ll also be getting an epic book of poetry from an epic best selling poet.
Let’s make charity cool and change the perception of coolness for the better.
Who cares what car you drive or what clothes you wear anymore?
What matters is what you’re doing to help those with less.
We live in this world together and can all give more.

It took me six months and thousands to create this trilogy in it’s entirety,
all I'm asking for in return is a few bucks and a few minutes of your time.
We made the last book I published #1 worldwide and we can do it again.
Simply purchase a copy now for less than it cost for a cup of coffee,
and/or PLEASE WRITE AN HONEST REVIEW about the book.
I’ve priced the book as low as I possibly could with Amazon.
And honestly If you really don’t have 3 dollars to spend,
at least REPOST this message,
or RESPOND to this message,
or something,
anything.

Whatever happened to the happiness,
from all those early childhood days.
Where laughter. joy and sunshine,
filled all of imaginations endless plays?

What became of the joyous music,
giving beat and harmony to the world.
When dream and hope could exist,
and all possibilities could be unfurled?

When did all this darkness fall,
to lay shadow so dark upon the lands,
as a dense foreboding that has been
summoned by greeds unsated demands?

When did dream and hope become,
just mere folly and wasted thought.
What happened to the morals and the ethics,
that as kids we valued and were taught?

When and where did all this go,
for everywhere I look such is just not there.
All has been replaced by a selfish world
of greed, hatred and down-trodden despair.

I know that in the course of time,
I am meant to see an old man's view.
But what worth and value of a world,
where hate and lies are sold as true?

Death and hatred fill this world,
in every rank corner that I see,
and in silent, desperate fear I wonder,
why we stood-by and let it come to be?
Ukraine burns. The climate rends retribution. Hatred is no longer hidden but openly endorsed or encouraged. China sits and waits while democracy suffers dementia. You can't tell me things are alright !!?

destruction topples creation
as close bonds split,
alliances rekindle desperations,
individual greeds dismantle agreements,
darkness defeats lightness,
boundless shackles frees death, ending life
life, ending death, frees shackles, boundless
lightness defeats darkness,
agreements dismantle greeds, individual
desperations rekindle alliances,
split bonds close as
creation topples destruction.
This is a palindrome poem. Read the same forwards and backwards; meeting in the middle, the same words are used but differ in meaning.

My want feels like its turning to need
And I know I'm giving into my hearts greed
As my body slithers in the dark
My weight presses into the sheets
And I imagine you in my bed
I feel your teeth break the skin on my neck
And my blood is racing as my whole body quivers
And my hearts whisper is now shouting your name
And my hand is clinched fast to yours
And my heart should be breaking
Because it's all just a dream
But my heart won't stop to reason
It's relentless purusit of your heart
It's wanting to know what's inside
It's telling me I should no longer hide
I should give into its greed
It's what my life needs
But all I want is to cower alone
Where you'll never know
How much you mean to my soul
And you then can never break
Or take this feeling away

Beyond this time and place

Reviewing epochs past

We will recall this phase

As just a stumbling step

Toward fuller consciousness

As we evaluate

The values taught

The goals we sought

The strange pursuits

We tried to mesh

When men bypassed

The quest for truth

For greeds

Of finite flesh

The height of mountains, the shine of fountains..
The parks with showers, the gardens with flowers..
The smile of a child, the noise in the wild..
The business  of milk, the fashion of silk..
The shadow of a tree, the fruits in free..
The soil is not fertile, the prayers are futile...
The tractors replaced bull, the hospitals are full..
The spray on all plants, the organs have transplants..
The drift in season, the depleting woods is reason..
The survival is main, the life is in rain..
The wealth of an ocean, the ships in motion..
The fish have plea, the plastic out of sea..
The greeds of man,the lame monitoring of ban..
The conflicts of brooks, the treaties in books..
The lust of this soil, the blood on boil..
The globe with borders, the wars on orders..
The lynching for leather, the summits on weather..
The ivory is like gold, the tusks are sold..
The freedom of a bird, the eye of the third..
The world beyond sky,the rockets to fly..
The open tap in drain, the skyscrapers in vain..
The thunder is aloud, the uncertainty of cloud..
The huge rate of birth, the plight of the earth..
The crisis of starvation, the calendars for salvation..
The threats of weapon, the world war can happen..
The dark fumes in air, the need of care..
The melting of glacier, the authorities are lazier..
The havoc of disaster, the nature is still master..
The disappearance of sparrow, the mind in still narrow..
The nature can bind, the  threat on man kind..

Let there be light
Let there be humans
Give them a garden
Let them be companions
It was all so simple
A world just for two
Nature would provide
Now what should they do?
The seasons are learned
Along with day and night
There is dangers in the wild
But what about wrong and right?
The beauty of one another
Brought their bodies together
One day something happened
It was no longer just each other

There was a baby to feed
And other families emerged
They were drawn together
As their problems converged
Food, shelter, water, safety
These things required action
Someone had to do something
Reality caused a reaction
But who would do what?
Who could hunt or lift a stone?
Could they become a village?
Or is it to each his own?
Who would decide?
Who would object?
Were they in agreement?
Or would they always reject?

One selfish man
And a plan will fail
One greedy man
And the garden is for sale
Would a man live for need
And not for his wants?
Would a man cure the infirm
And be paid only with thanks?
Would a man read a book
And study until he sleeps?
Would he use his knowledge
And reject the reward he reaps?
Is this the way to achieve greatness
With no discernment among men?
Everyone the same
No matter how driven?

The ocean beckons
As do the mountains
The lakes and the streams
Are natures fountains
Will they be cared for
If we live wild and free?
Will a man be happy
Not plundering all he can see?

And so the rock must be lifted
And we look around the cave
One man’s back is broken
And another says, “I’m no slave”
So the rock remains
As do we in the cave
Who will get food tonight?
“It’s not my turn” he said with a wave

How much is too much
For you to have all you need?
How much is too much
Before you notice the greed?
Think of it this way
You ask a man to play a flute
He can make you smile
But will praise be his fruit?

A good man will share what he has
And he will accept what he receives
But how many good men do you know?
And how many are thieves?
Would you rather wear a fur
Or harness the heat?
Would you rather live outdoors
Or have a home on a street?
And who will do this for you
Without their just reward?
Can you live like an animal
Or accept greeds mighty sword?

And so do you want my wool
In trade for your milk?
But the home he built for you
Requires that he receive silk
But milk is all you have
So you must live outdoors
How do we accommodate
When I can't use yours?

It's a matter of trust
I say what I render
Equals what you accept
And paper became legal tender
And if you agree
Though paper is not milk
Then I will build your house
Because now I can buy my silk
And in this way
Our wants become cultivated
And the lazy man
Is suddenly motivated

As the thinking man observes
The power of the capitalist tool
And the rivers of paper
That once was milk and wool
He wonders how it came to pass
That a world of cows and sheep
Became one of oil and gas
It happened while some did sleep
In the fury of comfort and reward
And technological devices
Are we better off
Or have we invented new vices?

I am happy for my children’s comfort
But at what cost to another?
Is it a zero sum game
With a winner and a loser?
Will the next big thing
Happen without their just reward
Or should we just pray to God
And put down our paper sword?
Is there a consensus among men
That can ever be reached?
Or will we always fail
And will egalitarianism be breached?

I wonder of these things
As we print more and more
The paper is all that matters
We want ours and all else we ignore
Is there a limit
On the value of milk and wool
Will we continue as we are
Who will win, the bear or the bull?
This may sound like Genesis to modern times but I just wanted to start somewhere. It could be cavemen or whatever beginning you wish....

Instead of being the Americans
That none chose to remember;
Let us become the America
That fondly glows with splendor.

No longer will we attack an America
That has the smidge of craft,
If we must attract the Americans
Who have to bridge the gap.

Great opportunity does not come,
Because we inhabit America;
Great opportunity does so come,
Because America inhabits us.

America,
This is the land of the free,
And we must prosper as one,
If we wish to continue to be…
In America,
The land of the free.

Instead of bringing forth an America
That rejects all faces;
We will bring forth Americans
That respect all races.

No longer will we charter an America
That greeds all day with favor,
If we must harbor the Americans
That bleed all day from labor.

For it is not how we live in this country
That determines the fate of our lifetime,
But it is so how we live in this lifetime
Which determines the fate of our country.

America,
This is the land of the free
And we must prosper as one,
If we wish to continue to be…
In America,
The land of the free.

A whisper of questions, far twinkling light
Seems like heaven's a'near with folly delight
In rage, I'm running, wading through vacuums
Confused emotions, all shadowy glooms
No stopping now, I pant with sweat
Desperate for answers, not painful regret
Step three, step four, the move finds no sleep
All chains and bondages, this life seem to keep
Find meaning, find purpose, no reasonable doubt
As mist, yes mystical, this life will head south
Like winter surprise, the dew and the frost
Bites eagerly at a soul so wastefully lost
Why darkness, not light? This seems but a game
Haunted by lies, unpurposeful shame
Delight, sweet caress, how precious such needs
Lost in this world of selfish and greeds
Alas, a green exit, blinding light, my eyes seeing
That tunnel, yes peaceful, of rest in peace being.

Instead of a light read
This is more of a late read
A wipe the slate read

New needs and different greeds
We're meant to meet when leaves sheath
I think about the time speed
or time spent amongst wasting
It's trash green, slime I bleed
Blood spilt while red lights gleam
High beams and tear streams

The skull seam
A conscious stream
of unconscious scenes
A habitual response to television screens
Thought patterns of your name seem
un-welcomed sit-ins for the brain team

It's a game spent creating
a world for the changing
A gut for the taking
and a heart for the breaking
I'd **** for a day dream
****** for a breath taking
Leave town for a quiet waking
that'd fulfill the craving

for the warmth of your body on my back claiming
to know something without wasting
love something without hasting
and trust something without caving

Inject into my blood stream
the heroine of your daily raining

Floating around a magic land
Our world, idealised and fantastical
Unrealistic reality
Of which we are fanatical

ly- Craving the glow that warms our greeds
That electronic heart
pulse
That life that can be sliced apart
Rearranged and made
false

The smiles overshadowing empty eyes
The hands on the hips make slim
The figure of this silhouette
And the figure that lurks within

Pixels of a

It is an unconventional truth
It starts and it roots
You start the engine right
You gear the stem in sight
You step on it faster
It runs more like a master
When it is time it over takes
Its a chance it loves to take
Just try to step on the right
It slows down with all its might
Drinks of the earth it drinks
Empities it with a blink
It greeds over it more
Can you handle it like before
It runs in the count of miles
Starts eating the green inside
It donates a lot of stuff
Believe me you do not want it bluff
It slowly taking over
Planning to become a ruler
Multiplying more than our race
Becoming the faith of the earths face
Lets take our control now
Save the world before its down
Lets see the beautiful skies blue
Before they bid adieu.
Micheal Bevan Jan 2010
Mother was my lover
No one could ***** me
For she was first
Her darkest thirst
I could never quench
But how I tried
But I never lie
For she would punish me and my bad ways
She'd take away the sun, I'd live without days
And the night would speak to me
Quiet whispers, from a face I'd never see
Telling me evil deeds
Telling me evil greeds
(Planting that evil seed)

Mother was my lover
Not a hand by hers
Could touch my skin
No lips but hers
Could breathe such sin
But who am I to protest
I am but a guest
Under her roof provided
Her love and lust divided
Leaving me to her compulsive will
(Leaving me alone, to wish her ****)

Mother was my lover
Who I could only hate
Single digit age and *****
Never knowing the right from wrong
Never knowing how long,
The nights did last
In the heat and sweat
Where I be played victim
These nights I wish to forget
While her eyes, never see regret

Mother was my lover
I, she gave birth to
I, she made 'love' to
Always told it was for me to do
Diluted into believe this was true
But with an whispered doubt
I began to fall, without a shout
I would never land
Never fully understand
The way she placed her hand on me
The way her eyes would see and perceive
Her only child
Always calm and mild
But when the sun set, her demons woke
She'd take me, and I'd silently choke
Losing my grip on my mind
Leaving me empty and blind
(Searching out blood, I'd soon find)

Mother was my lover
She touched me soft, she hit me hard
Over time, she touched me into broken shards
I fought between, what I knew
And the their voices lewd
That spoke from a face never seen
That spoke with a voice so pristine
I could not help but listen, and obey
But what do I do, when it goes against,
What mother says...

Mother was my lover
Who never loved me at all
She picked me up to let me fall
And I could never stop
My quick decent
Until it stopped, she voice
That I resent
And I was told
Her words need air
With her hands unfair
If she couldn't breathe
Then her will would leave
And I wouldn't have to play anymore

Mother was my lover
Who I had to ****
Mother was the lover
Sporting evil will
I was told, by a voice I must obey
That I must take away all her days
I went into her room
Darkest of the night
And took away,
Her regretless sight
She woke wide-eyed
I spoke not a lie
And said it's time to die
Mother who I hate
She took the knife, deep into her chest
And I drank in all her blood
A taste I had to test.

Nothing burns brighter than a greedy heart
Wrought with pleasures and fueled with pride
As if self destruction was what he sought
The flames eating, crackling away
A mind contorted, flash frozen in pure gold
Permanently holding his thoughts, bitter cold
And as his salvation begins to fade
Like all his friends who've glumly turned away
His dark twisted heart, now charred and burnt
The ashes, the ashes, crisp and frayed
And like all men his legacy dims
Lost in the sands of time
But those singed greeds can always remain
Beneath the dirt, with the passing of seasons and years
And like all men they hungrily dig
Ending up desiring all the same

Dead leaves
As the thunder
Rolls in
Good has been lost
And evil
Prevails
In stone hearts
The unkind leads
All known things into
Hell
Darkness greets the
Ignorance
Behind comatose

And the mind is
Victorious
The world is
In mourning
As hope is lost
The end of the world
Never happens
Naturally
It ends prematurely

and then we won and they have lost
and then we sang and they went to cry
life has been cruel but not for now
the enemy’s gone so let’s just dance
pockets emptied out
guns handed down
and a golden key
belonged to the queen
the queen is dead
it’s ours now
lock the dead
the selfish ones
let them stink
til the morning comes
let them taste
the gold they owned
unravel their minds
twisted in the night
burn that candle
our blood will purify

Round the circle we all sit
As a group reciting ****
Again just like the night before
Channelling hyena packs
The night alive with stoner's laughs

Double double
Puff and pass
Hold your breath until it laps

Heavy hits from bottle bongs
Sat  beatboxing old school songs
Passing round fermented potions
Childish jokes and puerile motions

Double double
Puff and pass
Hold your breath until it laps

Drifting off in ones and two
Mushrooms picked and set to brew
Mellow greens in china skin
Heady smoke smell covers sins

Double double
Puff and pass
Hold your breath until it laps

Acid tabs as foreheads sag
Hard liquor hits to beat the flag
Coke on mirrors razored fine
Crushed up E laid out in lines
Prolonged highs that last for hours
Bumps from Yale keys full of powders
Endorphins drop so fuel the need
Satisfying primal greeds

Double double, double stuff
These papers tight and start the tuck
Roll it up and stick it down
Set alight and pass it round
And by the burning in my lungs
Something potent this way comes.
Ripping off and devaluing Shakespeare....sorry.
Also getting nostalgic about a misspent youth.

What do we know of life and death
   ands time and love
when all we truly have is this moment
   how does tomorrow
      ever become today
         and what happened yesterday
       ten years ago
is no closer or farther away
than the last syllable echoing in our heads

so what is time other than an illusion
   and a thief
     and a liar

do we breath in just to exhale
or is there something more important
to the function of our lungs
is there something more than oxygen
we need floating in the air
something that is as easy
and important to give
as it is to take and receive

Is the secret to this life
we so often abuse and neglect...

is the meaning to it all

so simple that
it is so horribly cliché

And with what great arrogance
we let our egos
crown ourselves intelligent
and place more worth
on our wants and greeds
than any other living thing
and then like a vicious virus
spread like a plague
and destroy anything that is in our way

we are smart enough
to see the end coming
but somehow lack the wisdom
and courage to change our ways

out with the good
double down on the bad

So what do we know of life and death
   and time and love
     as we long for immortality
        in our deaths
     some existential heaven
    of an afterlife
  a divine blessing
of unending love

yet waste this moment
   waiting for tomorrow
      to become today
Hold up hold up
I see the world corrupt
Since
I took a sip of the potion
I gotta swole up
Mobs like Luciano
Sound the instrumental
Watch the vocals turn detrimental
Servin' peens
Lyrically dumpin'
Out my magazine
You who I be
Straight wizardy
Fools thought i was soft
But I was taught
Combat so now I sinbad
Chased afta things

If you wanna be put on

Puttin' suckas through pun

They wanna keep me
Bound but I'm above em
Drowning competitions
So I shove em

Puffin nature's green
Still wear guess baggy jeans
I'm old school ghetto as

But they just follow
Others after creeds
I been a soldier

Romance without finance
Is a slim chance
Its stuck in a fire with the devils dance
Fools out with open hands
Reeady take a reprimand
But I stand strong even grippin'
The slim
Knockin out flakes the world is mine

The world is mine.....
The world is mine suckas
Rack up
My crew be thick don't slack up
The world is mine
Dollaz stack up
So check yoself
Before ya wacked up

You see, I write but no one listens
And it’s hard
In a world where so many do.
So many express.
Depress.
Not because they feel the world needs to understand them
Not because they throw a blanket of empathy around them
Not because the real world doesn’t appreciate their detail
But because it’s all a get rich quick scheme.
A sale.
But I don’t care for nepotism.
I don’t care if you’re waiting for me to like your ‘quirks’.
I don’t care that if I don’t you won’t like mine.
Because that’s how it works.
A trade.
A shame.
Someone always ‘sacrificing’ by being the first in the game of it
But that’s not a sacrifice
The sacrifice is not caring.
Liking something because you like it
Living life because that’s what you want to do with it
Freely sharing
Being a good person for no benefit.
Not out of fear that others won’t give you what you need.
Not out of fear it won’t let you be what you want to be.
Happiness is not found in the wants or greeds of others
But in listening to your own heart
And knowing
Deep down
What you do for you is all that matters.
Then when you’re loved by people for your truth
There is nothing better.

So be a good person
Listen to this work
Like it
Please
Because if you don’t
I doubt I’ll like yours
This poem shows the hypocritical nature of society and ourselves. I don’t even know if I can trust myself with what I’ve written, but at least it points something out.

Looking, at life through fickle eyes.
Questioning, everything.

Life! Happens, as a daily occurrence.
This, as true as a sunrise aver constant.
We soldier on daily in the ever-expanding universe.
Yet our true nature, Oh! Our true nature, is to find a single constant.
The universe expands daily, daily!
Yet, we look for the most simplistic solution.
The most mundane of mundane existences.
Staying constant, God! The boredom one must feel to be so drab.
So, like that of the true design, of wars past lost or won.
We are now being willingly controlled.
I false freedom if you must,  equivalent! to that of a caged bird.
Ooooh! The injustice, and looking at the world as it passes by, pointing at our sqaured little lives, mesmerizing us with images of splendor, escalating false feelings of happiness, all that we may stay content.
Within the boundaries of these restrictive, fences surrounding this so called freedom.

Alas! This! I fear is our fate,
We cannot change this, as it set in time,
Each fault, flaw and historical injustice, brought upon this world by greeds, greedy greed for power.

We, .... give in, we march on like good little soldiers, looking for their slice of what's left of the pie.
Snippet. Of my mind.

Loves are slender
Greeds are so fat
It’d be much better
On a different diet

Herefords lying down,
***** to the wind - this bodes of rain.
Cloud gray and anvil,
clobber shot and some ways off,
a cliff falls precipitous.
There's manure in the air
because it's November
and the harvest is in.
There's manure in the air
for the fields need a feed
before snow tangles the greeds
of Autumn, and the Aberdeens
crush stubble leeward,
beyond the spruce breaks.
And there, atop a shaved hill,
a misthrown cone of gold,
shoveled by the shade hands
of gamblers in the **** winds
jangle in a pickup.

I see your smiles,
It's all a lie,
The wanton greeds
That you deny.
You wear your masks,
You are my "friends,"
So, shame on me,
I've met my end
The end is only the beginning.
