Yay! Yay!
Ring a ding ****!
Here comes spring!
Here comes spring!
Welcomed and fresh!
Here comes spring!
Here comes spring!
Bright and promising,

There goes spring,

Here comes summer-
Lazy and sweaty days,
Bye bye spring.

The walls will cave in
And trap you under debris
Never to see light
Just another haiku.

when you smile
when you laugh
volcanic eruptions of joy and happiness flow over me like molten lava.
eventually the joy cools and hardens to my body.
I find myself trapped
trapped in your happiness.
It seems odd
the comparison
of
happiness
and
trapped.
layer after layer flows over me
completely suffocating me
unable to move
caught
in the clutches of the great antithesis of happiness and suffocation
eeremmm idk  if this makes sense
?!

I sat on a rock and stared
At
This isn't a poem. It's a challenge.
I want you to write a poem inspired by my profile picture (incase you can't tell, it is a duck)
So basically I would like you to create a poem using the first line above and tell me about a duck.
Sorry that is a really weird request. I just want to see what you can come up with :)

Black and white ink-smudged lines letters
Spilling together combinations creating
Words
Words describing life breathing air into
Lungs paper inflated balloons and
Written into lines words
Flowing rivulets from my pen
From my wrists my blood
Is black ink pulsing through my veins
Words
So powerful I want to write them
Over the surface of my skin create
A canvas of color let them
Bleed in until all I am is
Words
All I ever could be all I ever want to
Are combinations of letters
Thrown haphazardly together thoughts Spilled onto paper like paint splatters Thrown at canvases
Creating beautiful violence
Words are a beautiful violence Manufactured for
Love or apathy different combinations of
Letters shoved together at random my Body is nothing
But an amalgamation of Words
May I never know anything less than this Truth.
Words though

I would just like to announce that today I am officially two hundred days clean from cutting! :D

Around here
We make an art of falling down
The plummet is as creative as the pain of the shove
The only beauty is seen from the ground as we stare above
I saw you a year before
In a resized, high-resolution image
Looking my way, though we were
Separated by a thin computer screen

I didn't know your name, however
And I decided to give up
The image of a beautiful individual
Faded from my memory as time flew

It took quite a while before
I saw you in person for the first time
Laughing, walking, talking
*You were so real
To the main man who's already in college -- this one's for you.

I'm glad something finally makes me happy
finding things that doesn't make everything so sadly
knowing that crying isn't the reason
for falling into this season
of depression
and social pressure

makes me feel weird how all the poems I read and like
are always about the hate and the "I don't like"
reading or writing something  positive
makes you feel positive
instead of closing your eyes and feeling so agree

it doesn't matter now
because it's coming back
so let me enjoy it
while it lasts
