Paradise,

A dream
With no screams,
No tears being shed.

No questions,
Only answers.

A world with no fight,
No bloodshed—
-
Only peace,
Harmony,
Companionship,
No Judgment
No killing,
-
A world where
We aren’t controlled
By our fears
Of the darkness
In the world
We live in.

A world
Where love
Wins
In the game of life—
-
Where kindness
Walks the streets freely,
Not bound by chains,
Not set free
Only when
There’s something to gain.

Paradise,
Every soul is seen,
Every voice is heard—
Where hearts reach out
Without fear,
And healing
Is no longer a dream.

Here,
We don’t expect paper,
Or wealth.
There is no greed.
Everyone opens
Their arms.
-
Everything is free—
Given,
Not taken.
Supported,
Not scolded.

A place,
To belong.
Where silence
Means peace—
Not loneliness,
-
Love isnt a option
Its a necessity.

The world lies serene from up here,
bright blinding lights
seem dim,
people like insects, crawling
insects like dust, clinging
and scuttling to their dark corners.
A place above all
where I can forget.
As I watch my feet swing
over the edge,
I'm not scared nor sad,
not thrilled either,
Just am.
From up here, even chaos looks calm.

They laughed when he showed up
with a résumé in hand.
Tail tucked, horns sanded down,
wore a tie, shook hands.

“I used to tempt kings,
whispered wars into ears.
Now I scroll headlines
and choke back tears.”

He tried marketing
but humans were better
at selling lies with smiling teeth
and discount codes for sin.

He applied for politics
but found the position filled
by those who make devils
blush in admiration.

Tried tech
but algorithms already knew
how to addict, divide,
and hollow out souls
with precision.

Even in war,
they no longer need whispers.
They bomb hospitals
and call it strategy.
He offered corruption.
They offered quarterly targets.

“They don’t need me anymore,”
he sighed to the clerk.
“They’ve mastered the craft.
I was just a spark
They made it an industry.”

Now he wanders,
CV in flames,
hoping someone will want
a washed-up fallen angel
who simply can’t compete
with modern man.
This poem uses satire to explore the depths of human moral decay, flipping the traditional narrative of evil. Once feared, Satan is now obsolete, as humanity’s capacity for cruelty, manipulation, and greed has far surpassed mythic malevolence.
I am grateful for those shining their light into this world, for those fighting for the good, despite the pain they've known.

I am most careful with them because they're the best part of this world, casting their hope into the dark, casting their nets into the stormy seas.

when we taxonomically

think about the world

we become blind

to our humanity

I used to think death was when the brain stopped working,
when the heart stopped beating.
But the day I kissed and felt nothing—
I knew I had already died.
Death isn't just physical.
It's the numbness.
It’s loving someone or something
that no longer nurtures your soul.
It feels like burning in flames—
and somehow enjoying the intensity.
Not wanting to be saved.
Yes, I’m burning.
And for the first time,
I feel safe—
because everyone is afraid to come too close.
This is where most people die.
But strangely,
I love to live here.
In this insensibility—
a phase where I’m falling apart,
terribly,
but finally feeling secure.
I wish to stay guarded,
forever.

Out of my nightmare,

I wake up in the anxious --

dream that is the world.

There is a world out there
Where my daughter was born.
She inherited my mind and my curly hair,
But she didn’t have to carry my pain—
Because I came before her,
And the world around her was better.

There is a world out there
Where my son was born.
He inherited my softness and empathy,
But he didn’t have to feel like an outlier.
He never had to hide his gentle heart,
Or pretend to be hard through his pain—
Because I came before him,
And the world around him was better.

There is a world out there
Where I was born exactly as I am,
But I didn’t have to suffer
Or carry so much pain—
Because someone came before me,
And the world around me was better.
Sometimes a person's soul is so beautiful, it breaks your heart,
and it does more than merely awaken.
It makes you question, leaving you a wholly different being than you were before your souls met.
The person you were before,
has been shaken from its shell,
and now has to learn to live in a world that seems foreign, seems out of place.
Life is never the same when we encounter such souls,
and why would we wish it to be?

A new Pope
A new hope
Farewell to Pope Francis
Who did a wonderful job as a great clergy
As we know, age believes in no dynasty
We come and we go like a kiss
New blood is needed from time to time
And of course, that’s natural; that’s not a crime
Novum papam habemus
Novum spem habemus
We have a new hope
We have a new Pope
A new Leader for the Catholic Church
The search is over, no more search
For a few decades, since no man or woman is eternal
The recent Popes have been  friendly, humble and truthful
We expect the Pontiff to be better than the previous one
(No laughing matter) Who is sitting in Heaven
Filing and signing his proper documents
Where countless Angels are singing under the divine tents
The world is right now deep in a messy situation:
Lies, crimes, corruption, deportation and discrimination
For crying out loud, this is to say the least
However, the entire world wants peace, peace and peace
We want all nightmares to end: injustice, wars and poverty
Novum spem habemus
Novum papam habemus
We have a new hope
We have a new pope
May God bless the new Pontiff, Mother Nature and Humanity!
