I don't like cold technology,
I'd prefer bulky computers,

I don't like kindles,
I prefer books,

I prefer blue eye shadow,
To contouring.

I,
Was born in the wrong time.
I wish life was like the 80s,
When children still played outside.
I like old 'scary' movies that aren't scary at all,
But today's 'horror'
Is,
Not even laughable.

I wish I could've watched Star Trek the original series on tv,
When I came home from school,

Or at least seen the original Star Wars, in the theaters.

This generation just doesn't do it for me at all.

I'm reading,
My third book this week,
I'm eating,
Swallowing literature whole,
One after the other,
A light snack,
(Teeny bopper, singletons)
But sometimes those stories don't satisfy.
(Poe, Cummings,)
Oh,
The list grows,
Like vegetables,
In a garden of wonder,
I wonder,
How many I can devour..
Before I explode.
My books are my escape, get me on the train.

I once knew a girl with a wide smile,
she had quite the interesting style.
She lived in the clouds,
and invited the crowds.
She swam with sharks,
and saw everything in colorful sparks.
When she was told to act her age,
she threw quite the rage.
Eventually life caught up to the girl,
and she never again stopped to twirl.

Not interested in pretty hearts,
Happy people, shining stars...

Give me the broken to repair
Will heal the one in despair

Battle wounded splintered heart
Blistered souls tearing apart

Loving them with all my heart
Brighten their life, light their dark

These are the people kept on going
Had their fights but not showing

I Love the shades of melancholy
Call me weird, a phenomenal anomaly.....
I relate with such ppl...happy ones can be happy without me but such people need me

I’m a healer; not a feeler,
a traveler with loss of passion.
Pipe dreams are clear when day is gone,
then I spawn stories you can’t imagine.

I’m a wanderer; but I am not lost,
burn the human manufactures.
The sky is bleeding poor man’s gold,
drowning lunatic dream-catchers.

I’m a winter child; but my heart is fire,
it's a roaring black hole of ancient lullabies.
Follow the zebra through the midnight woods,
I saw glimpse of amnesia in its eyes.
This is based on a dream I've had recently.
It's quite random, which dreams tend to be.

I left
immaculately folded tan chino pants
cuffed and disheveled
atop the department store rack
in the Young Men’s section.

They were too big at the waist,
letting me swim laps in them,
stretching out the front with a thumb and forefinger
looking like a successful weight loss ad.

Atop the rack they sat,
cuffed and disheveled,
amongst immaculately folded
tan chino pants
its kin
and they looked human.

Something about them,
factory made, dime a dozen,
not on sale,
but with the spectral imprint
of spaces and wrinkles where legs had been
amongst all those patient, forlorn folds
gave humanity
to the anomaly.

The earthquakes are scary
They are weird and red.
They try to pull
down the people from
bed. the people
are crying they
are trying to run.
They wanted
to fly and
reach
the Sun.
I DIDNT WRITE THIS!! today i volunteered in my aunts class of 4th graders and a student wrote this for me. her name is Anna and she's russian. My only edits were to her grammar.
A strange ghost, he walks through springtime city streets.
A wild dancer, he listens to the music breathing between beats.
Unruly, he moves so wierd with headphones on and silent moving lips.
So funny, he spins and runs with a raincoat tied around his shaky hips.
He was a hurricane, he was emotion's fearless young manifest.
He is now calm, and to beat, his heart should do it's very best.
Now he is calm
Wondering through shiny houses and trees.
Now hurricane is calm.
And you can end it of with with all the ease.
