trapped in your delusions
sadness is it you
anger is it you
no, no—i’m anxiety says it
i’m your ego
the reality of truths
the pains of sorrows
the excruciating hell
is this how we part ways?
like the moon says goodbye to the sun
memories will be my joyful thoughts
i’m sorry i left
i’ll be back and fix everything
when i’m okay
though our eyes met
and i could’ve sworn there
was an electricity
the ocean rushing down your cheeks
the storms that clouds your mind
mi amore, tell me
you’ll be happy without me
be free like the bird you are
and maybe someday we’ll meet
and i could caress your lips again
connect the stars on your body
make you whole again
i love you forever.
we were so in love yet these thoughts were unreal.

I envy the first wave
Which hit those rocks
With all its might.

Unlike the feeble ones,
For they have helplessly
Seen the horrendous sight

Of those poor vanquished,
Whose drops spatter their enemies
After fighting the good fight.

They fall back in sorrow,
Hampering their freshly nearing mates,
And altering their blue to white.

I know they're ill-fated,
Attempting to break but break,
And fade into the night.

Yet they'll soon be rising
Against those blocks
and cliffs in broad daylight.

Mine come in waves of zealous despair,
Determined to change the rock,
And to do what is right.

He's staring intently
                                                  at the task in hand
incomplete masterpiece
                                                 outlined (a deep black)
bitten lip;
                                                 - out of focus
I adoring His own
                                              magnum opus
hands;
ache to trace
                                             sharp jawline; a
defined collarbone-
                                            ridges and valleys
…..Gravitating back
he holds it up for approval
dimpled smile;
                                               breaking dawn

                            "Perfect"
                     (hear myself whisper)
closer now, frozen tide
                                             a whiff of the ocean
tsunamis in my heart ; waves crashing

(but I wasnt talking about the sketch)
he's the real masterpiece.

Waves of blue melancholy and emptiness
Hope these waves end
Please let me rest
Let me feel alright, or at least pretend

Ambitions echo in my ears
These chords appear upbeat
Goals, plans to improve from here
Determination is on repeat

The waves of sorrow crash harder
The crashing floods my senses
They pull me down farther
I succumb to the darkness

There are never cries of joy
Nor moments of peace
This life I will never enjoy
Until these waves cease

I find myself lost in a river of emotions,
With no life jacket, no raft,
Just me,
Water up to my neck,
Drowning on the inside where nobody can see,
I put a smile on my face and act as if everything is ok,
But all I do is wait patiently,
For someone to save me from these waves of ways crashing against my face,
The longer I stay here,
I drift further and further away,
The bed I made was a river,
I had no intentions to stay,
I guess that’s what happens when you pretend and put in a show,
But the truth is out,
Now everyone knows

i'm not the lighthouse
that you visit after
a rough day at sea
i'm not the one who's
shining my light to
direct you in the night
but those waves that hit
are my tears,
i shed in the daylight
cowering in fear
i'm the moon
that's so bright but you
won't be see me
as you're blinded
by the reflection
i'm the one who controls
those waves,
the ones that make you
reach home safely
or the ones
that make you drown
so be careful on that
ship
because the moon
isn't always a goddess
"bad ***** goddess" are the poems that make me feel the best, so empowering.

stay safe everyone!

The lighthouse was planted with its roots
Close enough to the faint smell of the salty water
Yet, keeping a safe distance from the its vicious waves.
And much like the lighthouse,
Not even my shadow dares to
Dance past the line
Between the calming shore
And the mysterious sea.
Crystal Freda Nov 2018
On one summer day,
she relaxed by the waves.
In this peace she'd stay
for the sun she craves.

The salty, misty air
dwindled drops from the sea.
It gave a spume to her hair,
but on her skin it would flee.

She meditated on the surges
with her pale feet in the sand.
Each wave comes and emerges
onto the dense and dry land.

The wind just a blowing,
and the sky was ever so blue.
The waves were just a going,
and this is what she would do.
