One side of my life is alive, the other is dead
I'm walking down the road trying to upgrade
Half of me is in a light but there's darkness in my head
I can do nothing though I pity those going days without bread
While the haves just flip through those pages I've read
They never see the floods and slides cause they read about business till their eyes' red
A part of me believes that I will make it through
Yet the louder part really doubts that is true
All I've done since is cease every opportunity by the beard
Because they claim he is bald behind
Worked my finger to the bone to be kind
For besides failure, there's nothing else I've much feared
Albeit the motor of my courage keeps breaking soon as its geared
You cannot guess the number of times I ain't cried when my eyes are teared

Take it from the racer, take it from a chaser
Take it from a player or pick it from the game
Take it from the greater, even from the lesser
Yes you might be better, but you might miss a lesson

Part of me gave up sometime back, the other says hard luck
I cannot swim across that ocean, not even like the ducks
I've seen less illumination and more of the dark
My road is filled with mud puzzles, once or twice I stuck in that muck
I struggle to survive, I'll hustle till the day I arrive
I'm like the worlds most wanted, karma wants me dead
But life thinks that's fair so she wants me alive
Unless I hit the canvas I won't throw the gauntlet
I might lack tributaries, I won't run out of faith through doubt outlet
All doors seems closed, I know there's one that got me here
The race is getting tougher so the finishing line should be near
Sometimes the sky is cloudy, sometimes It's clear
Some days I'm stressed without a solution, sometimes It's bear
Yeah

Take it from racer, take it from a chaser
Take it from a player or pick it from the game
Take it from the greater, even from the lesser
Yes you might be better, but you might miss a lesson

Well sometimes you realize that its on your own **** that the flies survive
And on it the cockroaches and other species are alive
Sometimes you learn that though you wish life was a fairy tale
Even it isn't cinderrella's your ****** story's all you want to tell
Some things get your eyes open and bloom gratitude
From knowing that you have earned great wisdom from Hozitude
Some people will always think they are young once
But believe me you there's always younger in every chance you have to dance
So once people throw dirt on you, just grow beautiful flowers
And when they **** on you, think of it as April showers
For with time like me you'll come to realize the moments you cry
Are the funniest stories and funkiest poems to write
You would do anything at some age, including telling God a lie
Just to have an opportunity of going back to re-try it
Some day you will know that while on the wrong roads
Like Soul, some people encounter their salvation
And satisfaction even without getting all the answers to their questions
Yes...some day, something will steal all the loads
And the funny thing is when the loneliness is gone, even a little bit
You realize that it was great company and you miss it
Sometimes you find yourself stuck in a life that's practically a torment
But hey, there's always a purpose for the joy and hurt of every moment

And on the days when your heart is a dying thing gasping its last breaths in your chest
And your hopes have flown away in a flock
Your dreams are far away, too far too crawl which all that can be managed
On the days that are right now
In this moment
Hold on baby, as the water pulls past you and tries to drag you with the flood
Hold tight to the tree post
Because the sun will come out
Because those hopes will fly back with colour in their wings
Because you'll stand on your once weary feet and chase those **** dreams
You'll come back to yourself sweetheart,
You're heart will shock start, it will beat, speed up in those happy moments, slow in the peace
You'll be ten times the girl you were,
You'll be the girl that carried mountains without being crushed

The weight

Atop her shoulders

Is enough to

Curve her spine

And twist

The corners

Of her lips into a

Sinking line

But in the view

Of distant eyes

She is no more

Or less

Than posture

Uncorrected

And vague
Unpleasantness.

There's courage in me I just can't recall
A pride that is floating me in the sky so high
So I'm chopping my wings cause I'm trying to fall
I know a hard ground will but make me cry
I might lose my feet and it might do to crawl
Yet it does me no service if I don't try
I lose nothing, and I gain nothing at all
It might help, it might help to fall
Perhaps life is like a fairytale

In order to get your ultimate happily ever after

You must suffer a thorny path of trials and tribulations

Like cinderellas cruel enslavement  before her prince

And Aladins miserable poverty before his golden lamp and genie

Yet once proven sincerely worthy of a happily ever after

May one reap the harvested glorious joy of a blissful eternal life.
One can only wish

I am in the valley right now
I cannot see the light
This trial is a painful one
But I won't go down without a fight

God has brought me too far
To just take camp in the dark
So I'm looking all around me
All I need is one spark

I've gotten so used to closing my eyes
So the Lord has shaken me awake
I was a child never meant for the darkness
He wants this cycle to break

He promised me I wouldn't stay here
That I'm just passing through
So that in the future when I struggle
I'll know exactly what to do

So as I walk through this valley
I'll hold my head up high
God is my inspiration
So I'll look up to the sky
Pain isn't permanent

______________

Each day is a test, we must give always our best
At times we are so dishearten, but we've never seen the rest
We painted different colors everyday
Red, blue, yellow but at most white and gray

Each day is a trial, we often collide with betrayal
Parents who don't care to call, friends who are not loyal
We always pray, for us to get bump to a better day
Lovely and pretty not like this a life that is full pity

Each day is a class, a lesson to trust
A teacher at his greatest, a handbook that is finest
It'll get better someday if only we'll learn from the best
Else we will not able to see the rest...

Once upon a time I met a wise man on this road
Called world who told me to avoid haste and go the toad
He said, "say hello before It's time for goodbye
Laugh out loud for there'll be time to cry
Listen while they talk but oppose with silence
Obeying all constants and paying attention to the variance
Take when you are given but never forget even yours shall be taken
Trust strangers more than friends,by friends you're forsaken
Go as far as the road takes you to know exactly what awaits
And roll with the wind, surf waves obeying every cyclone as it rotates
Life is grilled chicken, chew bones while you still have teeth
And if you're given the chance to kiss the lips, **** even the ***
Scream out loud against all odds if you want to be heard
Keep toiling uphill, don't despair for every situation's hard
Opportunity comes once in a lifetime for fools who ain't welcoming
Otherwise build more enchanting doors and she'll always be coming
The sky is only a lower limit for counting your success
Call it a springboard for the ambitious to set some pace for space
Difficult moments are like caterpillars, ensure they ain't dead
And someday they'll be beautiful butterflies instead
Make peace with your enemies, friends cannot be trusted
Otherwise words like treachery and betrayal couldn't have been invented
Say what you need to say, when you need to say it
Some simple words humans hold back when released restore a beat
Much as you get warmth from being embraced and cuddled
The same happens when you do embrace those in cold and hurdled
You may believe walking away from the risks is the answer to every question
But it's the ships that sail far from the shore that never escape mention
Do not waste time being troubled and contemplating your death
Worry more about how you're spending the billions of your breath
So go out there and squeeze sap of joy and contentment out the tree of your life
Every genius is just an idiot who ****** every moment like It were a wife
Where will you be..?*

Tell me brave knight,
As the path in front of you became twisted
Did you falter?
When the skies turned puce, withered
Scattered. Were you afraid?

Along you rode, high and mighty
To what did you find nearing the end
Nothing but trials
Tribulations, set before you to prove your worth
Was it here that your spirit died?

Loves hate that burns inside
How long before you were choked on your own tears?
Before your darkest of fears stripped your honour
As the ground beneath you began to break and vanish
Did you wish to turn and run? You continued
As everything around you fell to the
Dark abyss, can you say you remained strong?

As it all fell
Where were you?
Tell me brave knight...
After it all, would you keep pushing forward?
A story of hope, loyal to the end. The knight would face every obstacle in his path, if it meant reaching his damsel in the end.
