let it be night
let me see those eyes
And oh, the spark in his eyes
Would shame those stars
Owl’s deep hooting at night
Deep as his natter about life
Birds dancing in gale
Did we wake them?
Or was it the nightingale
Let us dance like those birds think it were not night
And let me lay
Upon your soft skin
As I watch your eyes
Like they were one of those stars
O, my dear my love
Did you feel the fast thud of my heart?
Hammering, pounding wanting to be out
And a touch of yours would calm me through the night

I have no desire for touching any apex but a longing for occupying large spaces in many hearts.
I cry out for your touch,
The one I missed so much.
Where our bodies intertwined, so did our mouths, our hands, our minds;
Feeling so much more than skin,
Our heartbeat race never did win, over loving breaths and whispered names.
Was it something we became?
Words of hurt and screams of pain,
Now fill the bed where we would lay.
Feeling so much more than skin,
Our mouths, our hands, our minds tear each other limb from limb.
Two bodies far, miss the other so much.
Can you hear their cries for touch?

baby you’re stunning
and you smell like honey
and flowers and good.
Sweetheart you’re kind
and your mind is graceful
and magnificent,
and I don’t doubt
because I know you’re heaven sent.
I know you’ve been blue
and I have too;
I know you’ve felt fire
both inside and out
but your soul is full
there is no more drought
pour into me
and I’ll pour into you
together we’ll sprout
and grow to turnout
pleased and at peace
and live another day.
Treasure you’re joy
you’re charitable and gentle
soft yet strong
you’re perfect despite your imperfections and flaws.
Baby bring the heat
warm my heart, my hand, and soul
and if we shall fall we’ll land on our feet.

It is the absence of air - of space.
A twoness made out of oneness, that slowly becomes oneness again.

It is fire.
The light graze of HEAT along the edges of your suddenly tight knuckles. Every pore in your body falls in love in a vivid blur of life.
It's all-encompassing, like how the lazy sunset spreads and pools its searching golden fingers across every living thing, clinging to the earth.

It is a lazy ripple striating across the surface.
The stress leaving your body in waves as they rub your shoulder. It's an intense, firm awareness of every atom in your being, every breath and shift of your limbs a story waiting to be told.
It's a prison and a release when they hold your hand for the first time.

It's earthy comfort and flickering excitement. Heavy heat and grounding warmth. Lightning nerves turn to steady assurance.

Safety.
Vulnerability.
Contact.
Presence.

Oh! The heat,
The heat I must beat.
101° in my seat.
It isn't tasting sweet.
The sweat!
Poor little pet.
I am not wet, yet.
And I will not forget.
The wind!
For I will not be blind.
To the bindings I find.
So I am kind
Breathe Tent!
So I can hear you shuffle.
And I can say kerfuffle,
I will dispose the waffle!

The tremble of her skin...
Like rain tapping off of
a jigsaw puzzle formed in glass.
Among my last poems,I'll try to make my final count. Hope u are all well.

When I see you I'll hold you like never before,
Good luck peeling me off, I'll just squeeze you more.
Like a lid that won't budge, I'll embrace tighter still
Close my eyes, take you in, feel every feel.

Just like a fine wine, you've had time to breathe;
Let me bathe in your flavour, the taste of relief.
Daydream-filled moments, leading to now
What once was prosecco is now vintage Crystal.

Effervescence of contact, scared I may burst
Drinking you in, attempt to quench thirst.
Skin on skin warms me, senses alive
To love is to touch, to touch is to thrive.

So please do indulge me, play with my hair?
Enfold me entirely, leave no space for air.
My darling, I've missed you, do you understand?
What I really want, is to hold your hand.

and the rose as our messenger,
I kissed the petals she left behind,
with high hopes that my warm touch
can find her once more.
