sweet dreams, bizzare things
whisper to the universe
for every star you desire
for every love you be longing

sweet dreams, bizzare things
i hope you wake up in the morning
and find the things that make you feel full
within yourself already

Thankful to God, for i can search for the meaning of life!
Thankful to God, for my life and for my problems.
Thankful to God, for each of my friends!
Thankful to God for all the good things and all the bad!
Thankful to God for everything!
For my life and for my future death.
Because it all very interesting!
And it better than nothing...

Bird songs like ripples in the water
Create a mirror reflection
Foxglove white as alpine snow on the high mountain
Foxglove purple-pink as a coastal winter sunset
It's scientifically proven fairies live inside their blooms
And when the flowers drop to the ground, they wear them as skirts!
Spring bursts from every corner with a force that exclaims- no one can stop this.
The dirt, the flowers, the birds, pay no regard to the peoples news.
Their requirements for growth are simple:
Water from the rains
Sunshine bursting through clouds
Nutrient rich dirt
Buzzing agitation of furry bumble bees
and Solitude.
They can't crowd their mind with too many things,
too many worries.
They just grow as much as they may will...
How simple.
How lovely.

the little things
that they do and say
come and stay
in their place.
To my university graduation batch of 2018. I remember everything.

In the shopping center
     I feel like an exile.
     As I write this,
sitting on a patio furniture display,
I realize I am the only one
without a cart full of cardboard
and artless plastic.
A seasoned couple quarrels in the next aisle over which
shower curtain to go home with
as if it really matters at all.
Children yearn for the colorful things, women the shiny,
men the dangerous.
I want to tell them that if
they want color, brilliance, and danger,
they should listen to Elvis Presley
or read Tom Robbins.
     Anyway, I buy the lawnchair
I've been sitting on
and walk out the door.

I could smile.
I could cry.
I could tear a wall.
I could burst into laughter.

I could hate you so deeply,
but I could forgive you
like it never happens.

I could be the quiet one
in a middle of a conversation
but I could be the louder one
when you start a conversation with me.

I could talk a little,
I could talk a million words.

I could sing terribly,
but I could sing beautifully.

I could notice the one thing
people will never notice.

I could forget things,
but I could remember things
that people won't remember.

I could be perfect,
but I never could be perfect.

Loosen your collar,
Untie your tie.
Remove the worrying furrow,
From between your eyes.

Roll up your sleeves,
Kick off your shoes,
A pair of flip flops -
Those old ones'll do.

No thought, no man..
No treasure, no dime,
That brings you down,
Is worth any time.

There, that's better.
Now that you've found you,
Sing your heart out,
And dance away the blues
A poem i wrote in 2011 - old one

Space...
The only thing
Between these arms which ache.

Rain...
The only falling thing
In this loveless town.

Time...
Like every passing sight
Which was meant to be felt.

And pride...
For the only thing in your life
Worth tearing down.

These are the things always abound.
They're everywhere and yet nowhere.... these are the things always abound.
