She may stand before you with a smiling face
                                        and light in her eyes

But in truth it is all a front, she's really
                                      screaming inside

But give her the credit of taming her mind,
                                 and caging her thoughts
Sijo #2 for the day!
Give people the credit of handling their anxieties.
It's a useful survival skill! One that can be honed with time and experience.
Personally speaking, I'm WAYYYYY out of practise lool.

I long for the seasons to relieve my pain
Every spoken word a shadow to your name
On my clumsy tounge they burn like acid rain
Why is my mouth so difficult to tame?
I am getting my wisdom teeth taken out next month and i am scared. Would anyone like to offer some encouraging words?

The heart of a dragon;
A young girl tames.
Her femme fatale;
Will be the end of him.

Label me a hurricane if it fits,
you think I trampled
on these hearts but they are nothing
but counterfeit;
there's no way to tame
a tempest you see,
you can't blame me for being a misfit.

Every time
you run your hands
across my body
you melt a layer
of bashfulness
to reach
my raw core
that one
that roars
with you
&
for
you

hello and welcome to the machine age
where pink floyd your tour guide
where human beings the laughing stock
on the supposed creature comforts
but in truth dependent on those big and little gadgets
designed by the brainchildren of past and present.

civilization at the mercy of those trappings
envisioned by wunderkinds
that propelled the masses from labor
yet now shackled to technology
far removed from simple existence of yore
when people used horse power

as their chief form of locomotion in the bustling towns
that inexorably spawned metropolises
that birthed towering skyscrapers
leading to potential fiascos by making civilization incumbent on
factories generating gewgaws in tandem with industrial waste.

survival of numerous species
(including that of man/womankind) hangs in the balance
as population explodes beyond
the capacity of planet earth to support
such a burgeoning billions fold burst of **** sapiens
filling every nook and cranny on this third rock from the sun
foisting an inconvenient gory truth
that catastrophe looms ever closer
perching all living organisms ever closer to the brink
of disaster and eventual extinction
unless dramatic measures taken to manage reproduction.

I’m the one before “the one”
I’m the one that you meet before you get your big break
I’m the one before the one that makes your heart race and your knees shake
I’m the woman you love before you meet your bride
I’m the storm that roughs up the waters and then they reach their perfect calm when I pass
I’m the boom that shakes up your life and makes you realize what you don’t want
I’m the woman you learn to hate because I’m a forest fire that cannot be tamed
So pick me, someone come on and love me so that you can finally meet the love of your life when my storm has passed

The little itches in my brain
Could no longer hold on to
But, I see future, calculating
Whether to rise now or later
Last time I messed up, fell
This time to seize the chance
So as to never slip or trip
To change my pace and stance
Survive the waves that hit

I will let you know as I'm ready
My dear, I said, when I'm ready
Stop stalking this beast in me
It hurts, barks or roars sometime
It even eats the flesh straight
And never returns your heart
So stay away, I'll let you know
When it calms down, as I tame it
