She smiles at customers
while making rounds
in this busy town.

Pizza comes
out of the oven.

Hot.

Fresh.

Cheesy.

Taste buds are in heaven.

Children smile
with splendid delight
when the pizza delivery
gal is in sight.

But

It’s not all smiles.

She can go for miles
with no gratitude
because of an
*******’s attitude.

Sometimes
she gets tipped.

Other times,
she gets gypped.

However,
when she tells stories
of tips and smiles
from pizza glory,

I remember,

This is the life
of pizza delivery

Sometimes it *****

But
There's hope within
the misery.
This is literally the cheesiest poem I've written.  And probably the cheesiest one you've read. It was inspired after hearing many stories from my ex about delivering pizza to various different customers... customers ranging from horrid to wonderful.

How could I ever stand the sight,
Of myself unable to stand the sight of you?
Moonlight, oh, how it glistens across
this dew mixed sweat caressing this
liquid-like glaze your devilish form shakes I'm taken aback, simply taken with you.
Her beauty poetically contrasts with
Sounds of silent gasps
Then laughing.

Things to learn

How to feed a cat
How to hack, self
How to dance cerebrally
How to stay more silent
How to memorize, what needs to
How to forget, what most
How to stay busy, productive
And yes
How to feed black dog
And a white dog
And a brown dog
And a mouse
A red mouse
A brown mouse
And likes

It goes

I always smack her *** when she is cooking -
her eyes tell me she likes it.
She says to everyone that she's a feminist.
Well, so am I, honey.

Take away these brick and stones,
that we seek shelter in.
Take away the promises you once
pacified us all with.
Take away the blue skies above us,
and replace it with grey clouds.
Take away the land that your fraudulent
minds apparently amass.
Take away the nature which grew
it's roots deep into our souls.
Take away our property, wealth and trophies
that still reek of our sweat of ages.
Take away the media that we see
and blindfold her with injustice.
Take away but you can never take the soul
that keeps this land alive.
Take away but you can never take the knowledge
of your people.
Take away but you can't wipe the smile off
our children of soil.
Take away but we don't forgive nor forget.

As the dust settled on the dim-lit floor,
So did the bodies of two.

Neither side saught out a victory,
Both were content in just knowing.

As the last splinter of sunlight faded,
Sweat joined with the dust on the floor.

Movements and minds were molded,
As pieces of passion collided Into place.

My sweat
My tears
My blood
My anger
My love
My desire
My roots
My future

You set me free..

Rills of sweat, glisten
Beading down our necks like rain
Bodies soaked in lust

The smell of the ocean
The all consuming stench
Salt and sweat and maybe
Something along the lines of freedom

Water and sand and seaweed
Twisting and tying knots
Around feet and ankles

Blinding stunning light
Piercing and painful sunlight
...

Tasting salt and tears
A cold sweat
Blankets twisted around ankles
The dark stifling heat of night
...

I miss living
I've noticed that the more vague and chaotic my poetry is, the more people see and react to them. I think that's interesting, and it makes me really happy when people like my poems.
