Told you what I was making
You said I must be faking.
Why must we speak
With razors on our teeth.

Thought that I could be flying
You said I should stop trying
Weigh me down
With all your misery.

We never get along
Yet somehow we fit.
I tried to shake you off
You must admit.
Don’t challenge me now
I’m done with it.
If this is a game
then we should quit.

Told you that I was breaking
You said I must be faking.
Why must we speak
With razors on our teeth.

Thought that I could be dying
You said I wasn’t trying.
Let me drown
In all my misery.

Sometimes the hardest battle is with ourselves.

You are my life support.
And I am plagued by the past.

Call me beautiful like it's the only thing
Keeping me breathing.

Kiss me like you mean it,
Your love is my medicine.

You are my life support.
Be forever bound to me.
Poem about my clingy past love.
When you talk about masonry,
There are lots of types of joints.
It will last if built correctly,
I'm sure it never disappoints.

A mortise and tenon joint,
Is the strongest and best looking,
And I am not like that like she is.
I may be strong but not good looking.

So I consider myself as a doweled joint,
Which is only strong.
But when I look at you,
I realized that I'm just a Dado joint.

The ones who always support.
Like how they support shelves,
Like how I support you for her.
I'm not strong as I thought I could be.
This is one of our topics about Masonry. I just thought to connect it in real life.

The unkindness was done to us, but now we are the unkindness.
We are people turned victim turned survivor turned raven,
Grouped together to fight the evil we were violated with.

We are creatures of pain, and we are creatures of protection.
We are creatures of mourning, and we are creatures of empathy.
We are creatures of misery, and we are creatures of wisdom.

And we will croak, caw, warble, and scream
Just so we know we are not alone.
I am putting together and planning to publish collection of poems by survivors of ****, ****** assault, ******, or ****** abuse. If you fall into this category and would be willing to contribute a poem or two, please email it to me at nina.mazzerice@gmail.com. Please consider this. Have a good day!

I don’t feel it much
But when I place my hand
On my bed
And my puppy
Sleepy, fluffy, innocent
Curls up around it
She passes on to me
A bit of her tranquility
I think I need a cup of tea

Do not ever worry about dumping the entire ocean on us, we have all drowned in it before.
To anyone who needs a reminder that you are never alone and your silence doesn't have to be the end.
Many of us care and many will listen, for me I always will.
Also inspired by the quote ""Spill your emotions, or be prepared to drown in them."

There is a kind of joy
that can only be felt
when you help others

It's a more satisfying win
when you help others win

It's a different kind of beauty
when you pull someone out of the dirt
and you get them cleaned

To lend a helping hand
is not always the easiest to do
But it is fulfilling and rewarding to do

I look upon my list of friends arranged out on this page.
And there are people on it from my life's every stage.
There are family in a distant land where I lived once as a boy.
I remember them and love them and they fill my heart with joy.
Family less distant and sometimes close enough to touch.
To my older sisters I love you both so much.
Others there among you from when I was but a kid.
Bonded forever to me because of things once shared we did.
There is one of you who helped in the most practical of ways.
Who provided material things so I could rebuild my future days.
One or two among you who worked right there at my side.
Who stood beside me at times when I struggled on this ride.
Even those among you who only know me through this page.
Who took the time to touch me and helped me face the rage.
One of those among you who passed not so long ago.
As a friend she loved me and as a dear friend I loved her so.
One of you bonded to my heart in the most special of ways.
From memories and then seeing you that has made for better days.
I wanted to thank you all as friends you fill my heart with pride.
I doubt I could have got this far without you standing at my side.
To thank those who stood and gave me strength when most needed. Original posted on Facebook.

Only those who truly care about you, will hear you when you are quiet.

i'll stay by your side no matter what
you can get deathly ill
or hate my existence
i'll still be here

i will always support you
from your hobbies
to your career
you'll get nothing but support from me

happiness is something you deserve
and i swear i will try my best
to make sure you're doing okay
and having a good day

i won't leave unless you say so
you're stuck with me
and i with you
we're in this together
