Dark designs
dancing skulls
cover her apron,
a talisman
warding evil eyes.

Queen Meek-teka-see
rules over bones, on
Day of the Dead.

During day
swallowing stars,
at night gulping
nectar of rising sun
she spews spirits
possessed by her.

Calaveras eteched
over tombstones,
frozen candle flames,
capture souls
under black moon.

The living crawl
to her altar
offering
another skull
to the dark blue apron.

The wind blows on a restless night
No fright, sight or cloud creep around in the tranquility of darkness,
A drizzle, brought by a softer breeze from seemingly nowhere drives near, dispersing the light brought by the sweet waning gibbous moon
And so, a grand rainbow, yet dim has been cast across the dark sky, filling it with both hope and glamour and blessed optimistic tender,
Impulisive shooting stars, racing across the sky and illuminating it,
In great numbers, one would think someone let the stars rain down instead, as they shine, then shoot across the horizon, never to bee seen again, each wishing, leaving their bright trails behind as travelers,
Appearing like a cosmic chess board, the flare stars dance in a festival of pure energy in the light of a white nights eternal moon, beaming,
The legend of a first wish, travelers which bring infinite fortune, brought to those whom believe in a shooting stars power and might,
The legend of the second wish, simply infinite power brought in light
And the last wish is carried by the realisation of transience, right before the night has come to its end, a last traveler shoots across the sky, it is the wish of immortality, an eternal life which cannot vanish.
But, the last wish, is a greater curse than hell or death itself.

The midnight moon, reflecting on the countryside
A good friend of mine is accompanying me
I wish he could vanish, leaving you in his stead

You and I could stand under the stars, together
Marveling at this calm town's beautiful landscape.
I wonder, do you find the night romantic too?

Cloaked in the darkness, everything is immobile
But perhaps I could still get your heart moving, beating
If all was right, would you succumb to my courting?

With just the wondrous full moon as our only guidance
In this little world that is only ours, for hours
But I'm sure your smile would shine brighter in my eyes.
The night is so inspiring... I should take walks like these more often.

Come not so much on the nights
when you are alone, or your mind is filled with grief.
The nights when the stars are the hardest to see.
Tucked beneath a blanket of clouds.
Of all the streets, one way streets are often the loneliest.
These are the times where we recognize ourselves the most.
And like the stars I tuck you in my arms.
Soft & nestled.
It's more times that exist outside of these moments.
Come also when you are free & every star can be seen.
Genuine in the way the moon shines.
Your face.
Never to flee in search of where to shine next.
The smoothness of your skin.
These bright moments that fill the sky.
Your voice the only thing that lulls the storm to rest.
Your curves being the constellation I long to see.
On the nights when your mind is at ease and there isn't a care in the world.
Learning wisdom in the moments of silence.

and scratched her scars
saying "It's okay I'll heal 'em lovely star"

do you still believe?
that if you close your eyes
you’ll dream once more.
of a world we built
under the glow of stars.

each night as i pull the covers tight around me,
i wonder if you still dream
with me. of me. of us.

i must be insane to still stay up,
waiting for you to crawl back under,
to these once vibrant dreams now turned grey.

but you know what they say about dreams,
‘don’t give up on them.’
and that is the reason why after all this time,
still i keep sticking glow in the dark stars up on my ceiling.
may they light the way back to dreamland.

At night, I listen to music
I listen to music to calm my thoughts
Thoughts that tell me I'm worthless
At night, I look at my darkroom and think of him
I think of what we have done together
Of what we could be doing
Of what we could be talking about
If not for her

At night, I cry
I cry because I feel like I'm losing
I'm losing hope that people care
People care for me and I'm not alone
I'm with someone that can help me navigate the sea full of rocks
The sea full of heartbreak and failures

At night, I look up at the stars
I see dots that swim in the dark blue blanket of sky
They float clueless to what horrors lie ahead
Stars are like children
They bring light to a dark world

At night I dream
Dream of a world where my family doesn't berate me like an animal
Who just ****** on the carpet
Dream of a world where we can live in peace
A world where shootings and ****** was unheard of
A world where we can all be happy
But this is just a dream
Dreams aren't reality
But at night
It's my reality
wrote this at 10 in a school night lol such a madlad

Sometimes
I want to
Ascend
Into the air , laid
Flat
On my back,
Luminous
with my arms
Splayed
Outwards.
The sky
would be starry
And the night
Dark
and light would
Flare
Upwards from my core.

Dreaming of something else
Trying to find myself
I know I've lost my way
But I can't find the day
Light
On
My
Own

I need someone to help me
I need someone to guide me
Home
On
My
Own

But I don't see a friendly face
Among this human race
I strain to see the stars
The
Only
Light
To
Take
Me
Home
On
My
Own

Hair like the sea
Eyes sparkle like the stars in the sky
And her smile bright as the sun.
