It's like that Spark is fading
the desire to keep creating
maybe I need a quick respite
a break if you will
some time off wouldn't ****
but I love transforming my thoughts into words
I'd hate to be another buffalo in life simply following the herds
my hearts begging for more but the brains running dry
tell me, is it possible for this to pass me by?

isnt it ironic how things are much brighter in the dark?
sort of how we are only desperate after we've abused our second chances
and how you say you love me but you feel no spark?

Love, out of blue sky,
Appeared as if heaven broke,
  .  .  .  Shut monochrome world.

I always smile at those i pass
meet the eyes, for who knows what spark
may catch tinder and flame

though flame never catches
on indifferent stone
and they're eyes are ever cast downwards

I*
            *Touched

Upon
            You,
But
             Never
Felt
              With
In
         *You
A spark to a flame
A seed to a flower
All thinks grow
As they do, they devour

A child devours knowledge
As a plant devours light
As a flame devours wood
And all put up a fight

A beautiful hunger
It rages and spreads
Then suddenly stops
All but dead

As a flame dies out
And a flower dies
A child loses interest
The whole world cries

For it has lost
A mind so bright
A mind so brilliant

So full of light

No matter how many times you try to ignite the fire, the flame will not kindle without a spark to the fuel.
A gas as thin as air, and as invisible as emotions.
A spark to arouse the very atom of the fire
a spark at the right time, at the right spot.
a spark such as the one we felt when our eyes met for the very first time.

when i look into
your eyes, the whole
world just stops moving,
time stops and so does
my breathing, my heart
beats faster than ever
and there is nothing
around us,
only you and I.

your brown pupils
piercing right through
my soul, my green ones
only doing a minor
scratch that will be
soon forgotten and
washed away.

but even with that,
i keep on looking,
hoping that i will
see a spark in your eyes,
that no one has seen before.

Us and all our lonely ghosts
shells, empty,
trying to fill the gaps in
with lover's flesh and ink.
Whiskey to warm our ribs,
seal us air-tight,
and drown the monsters
we can't write out of us.
Suffocate the **** things
before they learn how to swim.
Haunted, but not horrified,
we've seen ashes before.
We only wait for the March winds
to blow them away
and light
just
one
     last
          spark.

Broken and shattered
trying to pick up the peices
but everywhere I look a memory of you reminds me
that it's no longer us
No longer you and I
My heart is trying to beat as one
lost with out an echo
because we used to beat as one
beaten and battered
trying to heal the wounds left on my heart
you were always the best nurse to help heal my broken heart
I close my eyes for a moment
the beauty of what we used to have flashes before my heart
The words I want to say are caught in my throat trying to fight there way out to you
torn and tattered
I let you in
I let you see the inside of my heart
but you never remembered to close the door when you left
leaving a broken heart exposed to the world
Our hearts used to beat as one
But it's no longer us
No longer you and I
Lost with out an echo
Blind with out a spark
Broken and shattered
