kiss me
pretty butterfly
soar with me
through truth
through reality
let us start anew
spreading our wings
together me and you....
Inspired by these words from "Sia" --- http://hellopoetry.com/sia/
"A butterfly kiss like a smile in the wind"
Randi G Dec 2014
I don’t know if I want you to go away
Or crawl right back to me but
You’ve taken me to the highest places
I’ve soared and the lowest places
I’ve drug my body across.
I scraped my knees to love you and my lungs popped to see you
But do I dare dive into the pool again
And risk exposing my bone?

*(r.e.)
You keep texting me to see how I'm doing and I wish you'd stop but also I don't because I love this image I've created of you.
The Terry Tree Dec 2014
In glorious flight owning daylight
You magistrate freedom across
An ocean with your own box
Of twilight that you share
In a land of fish
A moonlit wish
With wings that
Kiss the
Sky

Throughout your expeditions to ground
Your voice is a dynamic sound
None can ignore your presence
What would Pandora say
When you sing that way?
Higher you fly
Distances
Many
Won't

Instruct us to use our heart compass
Open our eyes to perspective
Show us potential to live
When self-doubt is about
Like a grain of sand
May our cares be
Found without
A need
For

The liberty of our latitude
Is the length of our attitude
The way the wind blows effects
The direction we go
Our choices to be
Curiously
Ebb and flow
Waving
Lo

Behold a new dawn of bright feather
Consider the stormy weather
Notice how cloud and sun
Witness the Mother
Nature at play
Survey to
Coastal
Bay

May we find our way as you have shown
Limitless unbounded and flown
So shallow is the worry
No longer a fury
A calming has come
Soaring above
With truth in
Our hearts
Won

Riding the currents of emotions
Soaring aloft mental oceans
Wings spanned in physical worlds
Discover us great pearls
Of wisdom and poise
Joyful in noise
Good solid
Gifts of
Sage

Cleansing our spirits of past trifles
Being careful not to stifle
New growth with every gust gained
A quill, a crest, a quest
A mountain peaked with
Knowledge like the
Pier we are
Destined
To

A gate to become the best versions
Of our outstanding self-landing
Into the stars we have been
The fringe dust of pinion
Divine with the wind
Beginning free
And renewed
With no
End

Alone they fall,
But with her wings,
Both can soar together,
Both get lost together,
Both are safe together,
Both escape together,
Both feel love together,
Both unafraid together,
Both can smile together,
And finally,
Both are released,
Both are free.
Elioinai Nov 2014
And then
I understood,
a broken heart
is nothing
to fear
Ha! I think I finally got it this time. Loving someone for less than forever is not a killing act. I have never dated anyone and have been terrified of being in a relationship with someone and then breaking up with them. Now I realize such fear is foolish.
Mark Steigerwald Nov 2014
Far away on tides of blue,
father still then havens of gray.
Stretching across those wondrous fields
farther still then the breaking day.
Reaching fourth strands of hope,
grasping for life in the depths.

A light appears in the mire,
a hope filled with deepest desire.
The eminence of this light priceless
the glory of its beauty,
eternal.

The stars gleam
the darkness beams,
the heavens soar
and the moon drifts and dreams.

The night is alive
under this sleepless light,
stars shift and sway.
To the beat of its reflecting gleam,
the galaxies drift away, away.

The wolf cries mournfully
to it's long lost love.
The moon in return
shines all the brighter.

The heavens rejoice
for the light is theirs,
the songs of the deep
rising higher and higher.
The night is alive
under the sleepless light,
The stars arrayed in all their splendor.

The night is alive with color and life
Love and peace,
beauty and such magnificence.

When the sleepless lights
shines ever bright,
the darkness fades
and the night comes alive.
My dear, hear me out
They may shake you to the ground
But you own arms of a sword.

Strength to just dive in
Enough to rise above all
For every dent you soar high.

Will you dance with me?
Even in the stormy seas
Will you dance with me?
Let our spirits soar and swing
Can we hold on
While letting go
At the same time
Of everything
Throwing our cares
Like brilliant kites
Into the wind
Watch the sunrise
Never looking back
Again
Watch the sunset
Our inhibitions
Free to
Bend
Will you dance with me?
Illuminating

Follow me into the sky

Reaching out beyond the top
Our hands are linked
We cannot stop
Can we spin
And fall
And sink
Can we glide
And blaze
Within the blue
Twisting and turning
Like eagle lovers
Often do

Will you dance with me?
Let our inhibitions chime
Across the heavens
A storm of flames
All brilliant-like
We are
The sound
Of lightening
As we
Tango through the stars
Exploring galaxies
And Mars
There is no limit
To how far
We will frolic
In our waltz
The universe
Is ours

Will you dance with me?
Vibrate from head to toe
Rhumba and foxtrot
With our hearts
Whirl and sway
A feather dance
Of native love
In
Every
Way

Will you dance with me?
Can we spin
And fall
And sink
Can we glide
And blaze
Within the blue
Oh, how I want to be
Twisting and turning
Here with you
Like eagle lovers
Often do

Will you dance with me?
A dance for all time
A samba, a strut
A step where
We unwind
Releasing our fears
Painting our tears
Watching the sky
Become the canvas
Of our eyes
No longer
Dreaming
Of your
Spirit
Catching you
Catching me
Catching you
Eternally

Dance with me...

Their laugh was your alarm,
You woke up to find yourself down.

Don't let your awakening be caught
In the circle of sleep and sentience again.

Live. In every moment. Don't close your eyes anymore.
Don't rest now. An uneasy siesta just isn't enough.

Saddle your dragon and fly to the limitless sky.
Breach your extremes and push through them.

Let your armor shine, let them know they forged it.
The pain they caused, it has welded with your skin.

When you arise from your trial,
*The next time they laugh, there won't be tears in your eyes.
