The sky doesn't smile today.
It has the imperfectly carved moon.
A bright lit hollow upon our heads
Lightening the earth like a
Lone in dark street light.
Sometimes what I think when I see moonlight.

The window shuts
With slender hands
A bond with the outside world ends
My skin is faint
The shade of mold
Rotting me out as I hold
close to my ear, a single fear tends
To push down my thoughts
With ice cold hands

Sparkles, everywhere we look
Feels like the world is spinning around us
Stars falling down the sky in loops
Like your sparkly whispers surrounding us
Telling me it's time I open my eyes
Realizing I was dreaming all this time

Are you of perfect
Circumference for
A captain in the sky
Voyaging vagabond at night 'til morn'

Walking under the
End of season elms and sycamores
The branches as oars in water
Tilling below shadows come, shadows go, as you stay steady
For I was the water in a rippling stream and you were a solitary sturdy force above
Emulating my gait and gaze

Light hanging with every branch
Into my water
As you lay your supermoon
Beam into our futures
Until you come  again
Leaving your soup of hope in Everything you touched
Even souls

Where will the future be at your return
With hate or love,
Or something in between as a sturdy captain should, be there once more for all the visitors below
Beseeching you for navigation
From on high to below
Altruistic by sight, your perfect shaped stone in the dark of night
Walking my dog at 4 AM under the supermoon Nov 2024 in North America. I envision a world without hate and corrupt vengeful misogynistic leaders. Spread loving kindness and make altruism your guide.

The sky is blue, clear, jovial and ethereal
To welcome with open heart spring which is
So beautiful, fresh, colorful, and at ease
Oh! It's a reborn again time which is real.

Oh! Friends, it's the most wonderful season
Green lawns and shrubs return to the horizon
The birds resume their blissful refrains
Listen to the sound of the old fashioned trains.

Little children play on the unpaved avenue
Gorgeous ladies walk around almost ****
Where some amateurs fall into pleasant dreams.

The trees are already full of sweet sap and the streams
Are in good and superb shape for the season
Dear friends, naturally the harvest will be cornucopian.

The love
you've kept so long
in the wait
for someone unknown,

Does it still
keep burning
every night
When you leave
the bed awhile &
stare at
the lone vacant sky?
Some loves are untold mysteries like the torn pages of a diary never shown.
In the flower fields, the breeze blows,
Setting the rhythm for a song that glows.

Even a flower that forbids company will rest upon the earth.
Just one glance from you,
Just one word from you,
What is a sky without clouds adieu?
Sparkling Stars up in the sky,
Watch them Sparkle so very High,
Up above a darkened night,
A showcase of stars dancing in delight.

They Sparkle so High in their rightful place,
The Light and beauty with love and grace,
Just look above wherever you are,
You might just catch a Shooting Star.

Sparkling Stars just watch them shine,
A Light display to me is fine,
Even with these darkened nights,
An Illuminating sky will feel so right!!!

i'm on my way to school
and the sun is supposed to rise
the sun isn't supposed to stay
stuck,
half-risen
the sky streaked orange
and red
the sun isn't supposed to stay
the sky will streak blue
right?
Odd Odyssey Poet Oct 2024
The sky's cheeks touched by a dream –
Blushing softly and bashfully, in shades
Of pink.

As our love ascends –
You are my heavens; embraced,
Radiating in soft shades of pink.
