The little boy in gray doesn't smile often,
and his breathing is so shallow,
they may ask again,
"are you sure that he is breathing? Are you sure that he's alive?"
and rest assured his body's trying
to keep him alive
despite how much he breaks it down
and watches nonchalantly as it drowns.

He longs for poison to taint his blood
and strengthen the walls that creep up around him
(those ugly weeds that stole the color of the ground
and choked out the bound
to be life that would have sprung up at his feet).

He constricts himself like a snake,
and lets himself bleed,
as if all this hurt was not by his hands (callused and uneven and scraped down to bone),
he still cries
as the water rushes down his back
and stings his dull eyes.
He still cries when the hunger grips him and won't let go
even though
he did all this.

The little boy in gray ignores all of this
and continues in his silence
to the outside world,
for he is one among many,
and those others are so worthy.

People at school constantly make trans/queer/anorexia jokes and it's awful. I'm used to queer jokes but the other two are slightly less common and wow idk just wish they would stop

i swallowed your grief like a poison,
i ate your disease with a ****** mouth.
i split my knuckles and ****** the consequences,
i pulled out my core to give you stability.

i would have taken the weight of the world on my shoulders for the rest of my life to alleviate your pain.

but it wasn't enough.

Death is inevitable,
It’s something you can’t escape,
it comes ever closer,
taking its shape.

If it’s the barrallel if a gun
or a deadly disease,
It comes ever closer
not hearing your pleas.

If it’s the spikes of jealousy,
or the poison of betrayal,
The story of death,
is always a sad tale.

It’s more powerful than love,
and more deadly than rage,
it traps you in anger,
in an almighty cage.

It enters your system,
and it takes control,
it clouds your conscience,
and poisons your soul.

It’s a dangerous emotion,
that’s not easy to create,
it controls all evil,
and it’s name is Hate.

You are like ivy creeping and embedding yourself in spirals around my limbs

Poison slowly creeping into my very flesh, my very being

What is it about you that makes my lungs heave with distaste

You are a wolf in sheepskin

Your soul a grotesque knarly fungus, toxins settling around you like a shield
But your exterior a brilliantly bright red

You invite others in, only to realise your glowing, vibrant colours have been forged from using and discarding others
******* those around you dry
Forcing yourself into every little crevice

I hate growing next to you, stealing all my light, all my nutrients, all my life

And I bet when you no longer require my prescence you will give absolutely no second thought to tearing me limb from torso to feed that rabid wolf inside you

I bet it's lonely on that 'moral' high ground you keep telling me about, looking down at the rest of my humble flock

I bet one day you will realise you are actually growing on top of an ants hill, not a mighty moral mountain

Enjoy your own company, since you're clearly too good for anyone else's
Since you would rather poison everything around you

Everyone hates poison ivy

P.s. tried to use the combination of juxtaposing two different metaphors here, kind of switching between the two, hope it worked

Stone-like, steel eyes
biting down the
sweet, polished apple.
Silky smooth skin slithering
on the thoughts of the tempted.
Desire of the improper,
cause conflicts to the conflicted.
Poison awaits,
with 2000 different faits.

...he is all kinds of perfect,
and then there's me,
i am poison.
it runs through my veins,
filling my head with impure thoughts,
and if we were ever to be together,
we would be poison smothered on an arrow's tip,
flying into the clear water at full speed
the poison slowly seeping, dissolving,
creating a toxic mixture that cannot be undone.

"Let not this world deceive you,
don't let it win,
don't make it your companion.
Don't drown in the fear it instills in your heart,
don't heed its sinful, yet captivating words.
Don't give in to its limitless beauty,
don't smile when it kisses your skin.
Don't let it force you to take a puff,
don't let it intoxicate you.
Don't let it order you,
don't let it make you dependent on it because eventually, it'll leave you.
Let not this world deceive you, my friend,
it might be kind-hearted, it might love you, but it'll also take you to hell with it.
It's a poison no one dares touch,
it's a prison no one dares enters."
What do you think of this world?

pick your poison, is how the adage goes
no one toxin is identical
they all accomplish the same deed

ground by each decision
you wither away to no more than a fine dust
worn from the stress of painful repercussions
those of work and relaxation
those of love and isolation
those of life and death

i gaze into the wandering eyes of others, and wonder
how hollow are they
do they have substance or
are they solely a shell
held together by the laws of conformity
never daring to commit that felony

i guess that makes me criminal
as I choose to crumble visibly,
at least without a guise
i can be reborn into
myself
