Pursed lips and oxygen slowly drips
from lips that were dyed red
with little, parasite lies
I consumed you whole and
the corpse you leave behind
is your true identity
of who you really were
a selfish *******.

there was no air in the room,
but somehow,
he made her breathe
                 (b.c)
I lie here paralytic
Inside this soul
Screaming for you 'til my throat is numb
I wanna break out I need a way out
I don't believe that it's gotta be this way
The worst is the waiting
In this womb I'm suffocating

Feel your presence filling up my lungs with oxygen
I take you in
I've died

Rebirthing now
I wanna live for love wanna live for you and me
Breathe for the first time now
I come alive somehow
Rebirthing now
I wanna live my life wanna give you everything
Breathe for the first time now
I come alive somehow
Right now [X2]

I lie here lifeless
In this cocoon
Shedding my skin cause
I'm ready to
I wanna break out
I found a way out
I don't believe that it's gotta be this way
The worst is the waiting
In this womb I'm suffocating

Feel your presence filling up my lungs with oxygen
I take you in
I've died

Rebirthing now
I wanna live for love wanna live for you and me
Breathe for the first time now
I come alive somehow
Rebirthing now
I Wanna live my life wanna give you everything
Breathe for the first time now
I come alive somehow
(I come alive somehow)

Tell me when I'm gonna live again
Tell me when I'm gonna breathe you in
Tell me when I'm gonna feel inside
Tell me when I'm gonna feel alive

Tell me when I'm gonna live again
Tell me when this fear will end
Tell me when I'm gonna feel inside
Tell me when I'll feel alive

Rebirthing now
I wanna live for love wanna live for you and me
Breathe for the first time now
I come alive somehow
Rebirthing now
I wanna live my life wanna give you everything
Breathe for the first time now
I come alive somehow
(I come alive somehow)

Right now
I come alive somehow
Right now
I come alive somehow
This is a song by the band Skillet.
It explains a lot with how I'm feeling.

May you never cease to thrill at the ordinary.
May the charms of spring never cease to awaken your soul.
May you never grow accustomed to your lover's smell,
that you do not inhale it so often
that it becomes merely oxygen.
Stay young forever.

i cry
cause you go away from me.
you didn't say good bye.
you leave away silently..
with the wind fly softly

i have only you..
when you leave
i have nothing ..
i have no oxygen...
i have no water..
That is all why i cry
excruciatingly, i cry
till you come back....

I'm tired
Of counting the endless cigarette butts
That lie on the floor
Scattered
I collect them one by one
To make sure I've collected enough poison
That'll burn me down
Crush my heart into ashes
I'm tired because I don't know what I did so wrong
What I did to deserve these heinous replies
The unending smoky breaths
That cloud between us,
They're engulfing what was once beautifully ours
To keep and hold
I'm letting go off of you tonight, though
I'm letting the clouds fly you away from me
I'm letting the smog of whatever we had
**** us inside of reality
Bringing us back to where we started
Because it was better not knowing you
It felt better to breathe without this fire of hate
And love craze
Burning inside of me,
Every moment
So I'm letting you go
With the hope
That some day when we're at crossroads
You'll be full of oxygen
Helping another
To breathe again.

I enjoyed it
Somewhat
Running up and down the court
Playing by rules that I concocted
Due to my inability to play correctly

It was all right

But while the air in my lungs depleted
I couldn’t help but ask
What’s the point of it all?
You run around and hit a ball
To another opposite you
That’s it

They don’t even want the ball
They are just going to give it right back
The game is just trying to force
Unwanted objects upon the enemy
Repeated again and again
Until one ends up giving in
Becoming the oppressed

Engrossed in their failure
The defeated is left to stand there
Gasping for air in a sea of oxygen

It is just animalistic behavior
Created by the insignificant

Ancient trees of majesty
why reach your arms in excellency?
Why skim the clouds and pierce the stars,
to stand so bold as warrior Mars?
Why be a thing of children's play,
and watch the scene where lovers lay?
Why touch the hearts of young and old?
Why change your leaves from green to gold?
Why dip your arms in pools below
and float your leaves as falling snow?
Why whistle tunes on winds of high
why whistle tunes as winds go by?

I waited from dawn to dusk you see
for these ancient trees soon whispered to me

      We grasp the day
      We grasp the night
We grasp the fowl on earnest flight

You give us  breath which we repay
we mold your health in loving way
We climb these hills and mountaintops
and spread our green as greenery crops
We house these creatures in wooden shacks
and feel the cut of the woodmen's axe
We watch the peace and wars go by
and suffer pestilence without a cry
We dance and sway on winds of old
to tell our stories far untold..

Thank you kindly
This was my first poem written around 1965.
I was working for GOOD HUMOR on an ice cream truck.
I worked in Merchantville and Pensauken NJ.
On my lunch breaks I would awe at nature because I ate in
wooded areas best way to digest food around silence away
from the hustle and bustle...

By noon... the sun was shining hot
putting out an additional flare

I started to take off my shirt
and sat on a wooden chair

You can feel the sun spike the earth
I was also running out of air

Being tired and quite exhausted
Like chasing after a hare

I stood and picked myself up
almost needed hospital care

Standing away waiting for her
for something to start the flare

I needed some kind of love message
or arms that do care

It takes sugar to be sweet
One look at her hair

I needed my sweet love now
or else I'm quite in despair

Each one has a favorite thing or two
a sweet thing about their pair

For me I like my love to be
where if I need her she is there!!

Otherwise what will happen to me
If I won't get my juice and pear

My heart will be in alert mode
till it runs on just thin air!

There are four chambers in the heart
The right atrium receives oxygen poor blood
When you left I was smothered
Somehow the words from your lips had enough power to poison the air I inhaled
Leaving me struggling and aching to be clean of you and all our memories
The right ventricle pumps oxygen poor blood to the lungs
The pain of your absence spread like a virus in my life
My teachers were spouting information but none of it was teaching me
How to love myself again
The left atrium receives oxygen rich blood
I threw out the cigarettes you left on my desk and I rinsed you out of my hair. I got up early and drank my tea outside and embraced the cold air. The wind, so clean and un dirtied by your empty words and sticky promises, that its almost tangible.
The left ventricle pumps oxygen rich blood to the body
Six months gone and I'm not reaching for you anymore. No longer
Do I see you in my wrinkled sheets or the scuffs on my converse
I'm a lot lighter now
No longer do I have to carry your sad angry anxious dead weight on my sleeve
No longer do I have to use band aids to cover my wrists, but now to cover the scrapes on my knees from climbing mountains higher than I could've dreamed
And I've fallen in love with someone new
Myself.
She's great, thanks for asking.
