You have been cruel to your fellow race,
you smeared blood all over your land,
and here you are now,
your soils hunger and thirst for green pastures,
and there are no where to be found.

Oh poor South Africa,
could you be another Eygpt
with God's plegues reigning all over you?
You showed no harmony,
you desired no peace,
you cared less about unity,

you left your own race to die,
with those large stones,
those weapons,
the sticks and the whips.
That fire that burnt the people  alive,

their tears fell to the ground
and they have dried up your land,
it is no shortage of water that you face,
but with unquestionable daughts,
you are facing terrible draughts.

Now that your fellow citizens fight against one another,
the blood is being shed amongst themselves,
and those stones now crush their own skulls,
it is nolonger faces without races that cry,
but your own race nolonger knows how to share.

this is all because you do not have
enough water to secure them anymore.
Their needs can not be reached
not even by the noble group that monitors from their royal seats.

Oh poor South Africa cry for mecry!
For your soils are running solid,
they shall nolonger be able to bear food.

The Lord covers your land with dark clouds,
yet there is never a seed of rain that falls and touch your platue.
Oh poor South Africa cry for mercy!
for your people are dying.
And yet you sit still in silence.
The shortage of water in South Africa is nothing but a burden, a young girls has died, while trying to defend there homestead river stream.

Oh I am scared alright
Of what could happen tomorrow
But I can't decide -
Do I fight, accept the sorrow?

All this noise inside me
Sounds like the ending
Am I now free,
Or is this just beginning?

Warped into a vortex
To the point of no return
Black hole or oblivion
Every part of me is burnt
Have mercy on me
I've never come this far before
I don't know who I am anymore
Have mercy, have mercy on me.

Let me feel the good you're feeling
I don't know you're smiling
Can't you see me crying
What answer do you see in me?
This poem is a conversation between me the dreamer, and me as the one who got the dream I wanted. I wrote this poem when I was feeling trapped at a point in time. I didn't know what to do, I didn't know if I was already doing the right thing or I had yet to. It was meant to be the best thing that ever happened to me, but I was not happy about it.

The sadness creeps beneath my skin.
Shards of glass in my veins.
The unending grey seeps in through my pores.
Consuming me slowly.

A shrill sound with no reprieve.
The shouting behind my eyes.
My psyche tears like the fiber of meat.
Ripping ragged edges.
Deterioration.

Memories like fabric.
Ripples like silk.
Unlocking sealed vaults.
Excavating the contents.
A landslide.

Immense pain.
Like a fork against your molars.
A pinging sensation.
A jolt to wake you in the night.

Theres no reprieve from the ache.
The feeling of being crushed.
A rubber band around your ribs.
Your bones beg.
Crack.

Bone marrow replaced with sadness.
Too much to contain.
Pressure against the confines bone.
Snapping in two at any second.

Any bit of intelligence has been ruined.
I'm strung out in my sadness.
All thoughts are electric current.
Unharnessed.

An itchy soul.
Yearning for space.
Desperate.
Waiting for the skin to split.

Fire beginning in your fingers.
Flames licking your lungs.
The underside of your muscles burn.
Swallowed whole.

Pressure against my skull.
Fluid and mass.
The seams may split.
Spilling out.
Boiling over.

Needing peace like water.
High noon in summer.
Your throat betraying you.
Begging to quench it's thirst.

Slamming my fists against the ground.
Pulverizing the flesh of my knuckles.
Screaming into the darkness.
Praying to the gods.
Begging for mercy.

Mercy spreads wings of light
beyond unseen terrain

Recognized in silence
Reflected in contemplation,
Fills the vacuum
Mercy Divine, In  reverie
Of Solitude Mysterious

Finds he the owner
Of solitude,
Mercy's overflow,
Beyond boundary
Beyond limits

Convinced he the owner
Of solitude,
Mercy Divine lights
Darkest of alleys

Peace settles in
Surpassing all knowing,
Focus thus the source
Source of Mercy Divine

Mercy spreads wings of light
beyond unseen terrain

Recognized in silence
Reflected in contemplation,
Fills the vacuum

Why give effort to someone who doesn't even give an ounce of it for you?

Because effort gives mercy points.
I saw this on a desk from my class.. this is not mine. just posted it here cause I feel the same.
One, Two, Three

Each stroke makes out another word,

I

am

sorry,

Hands shaking from every motion

Like an earthquake

Moves her hand

But

I

can't

She cries,

Tears staining her pages

take

any

more

Her eyes pray

That God himself will show mercy.

I am a thief with no heart of my own
creeping up onto window sills
and tip toeing into the dreams
of falsely accused prisoners
and no mercy is present once I stand in your room
and take what makes me stronger
as if I am the one who should be given a shield

and victims will lie willingly as they are seduced
and no mercy is ever present
even after we escape into the walls
(your former organs and I)
desperately searching for the flesh of the next.

I will **** them to hell before returning to my heaven
because even the sky cannot cut through my deceptive skin.
if you have feedback for me on this, please do give it because i can't tell if i like this one or not!
Sometimes..
The best way to find Gods will,
   is to
remember what He brought you through

in the adventure He bought for you.

Who knew?! That Jesus still loves you! through and through!
Before He even created you, Jesus knew what He would have to do to get a hold of you.
Jesus hung from nails on a cross because I can't keep my heart straight and yet Jesus still cleans up my mess.
