A little bird
trapped in a golden cage,
fed with precious jewels,
diamonds and pearls.
Had everything
anyone could ever ask,
except for one thing
she can never have.
--- Freedom.

I lay down
your creamy expanse
unto the marble surface,
as if milk made love with
the stars in the galaxies.

I write you out
as pleasant simmer
of pulverized charcoal
and bloated glycerine.

I splatter and spread
fine dusts of Carica
in temperate motion
to touch the sleek edges
of the vanilla branches
on your person.

I hold and dip
my feathery digit
amongst rose water
to grasp the flowers
that frames your face,
like light morganites
that hail from the west.

I cast you off
as the blue sea engulfs
the life from the waters
where life swims with
stable beginnings
and whirlwinds of stories.

I finish you
by letting molten pearls
lither your dark onyx orbs,
surrounded by your lakes of gelatinous almond,
like shooting comets
finding rest on land,
as lightning's faint and close
but never quite touch.

I made you
with intrinsic detail and rawness
to give you the life
that you may never have.
may these words show its own form of art.

Just in for this season, darkness and light
They cascade over the hillside, that drown in
Moonlight. The jewels that fill the sky are
Scattered remnants of a pretty dream, one
That apparently won't come true. This is the
Meaning, never use the words "I do," unless
You really know you're ready to.

She fears that she'll drown in her tearstained diamonds,
or expose her rough skin to find no more vermilion rubies.
She becomes a ruined landscape as she
brushes the black jewels out of her matted hair,
even if her emerald eyes aren't tough enough to withstand that pain.

She dreads for the moment when the world
will not accept her own beauty.
Why can't she understand? Why can't she realise?
Though she holds the rare jewels of a king,
no one shall buy those cursed gems.
Thank you for reading!

To the summit we go amidst the wild night's storm
An avalanche is summoned where the elder stars grew
Visions of hope amongst the mighty hailstorm
I barely recall now a morning's peaceful dew

An avalanche is summoned where the elder stars grew
Our perilous journey to the dragon's gold nest
I barely recall now a morning's peaceful dew
Valorous are the ones who dared to sail northwest

Our perilous journey to the dragon's gold nest
The Gods have abandoned us, no sign of omen
Valorous are the ones who dared to sail northwest
We're determined to get back the jewels were stolen

The Gods have abandoned us, no sign of omen
With fearless hearts we reach the portals of chaos
We're determined to get back the jewels were stolen
That beast will be slayed by our axes blind pathos

With fearless hearts we reach the portals of chaos
Soon we're going to meet the thief and his firestorm
That beast will be slayed by our axes blind pathos
To the summit we go amidst the wild night's storm
The padum is a lyrical form which started in Malaysia and established in Europe by Hugo. It consists of four verses with crisscross rhyme, the second and the fourth lyric of each verse are become the first and the third of the following. The number of verses is undefined, although the fourth lyric of the last verse owes to be the same with the first lyric of the initial verse
Think about it,
She off-handedly remarks:
Formality is separateness

Lost in one of the nebulous folds
Of my cerebellum
I acknowledge her comment with a thousand yard stare

Eagle eyed, I surf a warm updraft
To rise above it all
But I can't slip the prison of pre-conception

Amuse me, she says.
Whisper me your pretty little lyrics,
Sing me your song

You have one of the most interesting faces I’ve ever met
I brazenly tell her, and
My minds eye is full of anticipation

I know it’s pedantic
I am not so romantic
Maybe we should not peel back the veneer, but

A peak

It’s inexplicable

Naive and unassuming, with
Bashful sincerity, and
An enduring patience

Awaken: open your eyes
The serpent goddess counsels

And you will find your way

Reason

I’ve got a heart that is made from crystal;
I find diamonds behind your eyes
And if there is no way that I am losing you,
Then I guess I’ll be doing alright.

You wear a black tiara upon your head
And you have Cupids arrow stuck inside your mind.
I hope he sent you here to comfort me,
Because I need you to kiss me tonight.

If there is nothing left to lose, then give me hope or something;
All I ask of you is that you send me a sign.
If we lose all we have and I never get to see you again,
I know the angels will be cursing our luck, because of our plight.

Up there in Heaven they decided to put us together
And only you can tear this love heart apart.
If only we could make love last until the end of time,
We could be so happy with each other under these stars.

When I rise, I want to rise with you already up there;
If you’re still here, then I will never want to leave.
But if you’re waiting for me in Heaven with your loving care,
I will accept my fate and live while I can; but this life I will not grieve.

You are a golden heart in a land without colour;
You’re a morning sun in a land without light.
I know in my heart I could be with no other,
Because you are the purest love and my reason to rise.

set down on satin lining
velvet box laid cautiously
placed on top of other cargo
for the voyage on the sea

strands of precious shining stones
stowed in Captain's quarters
second mate stood by to guard
it was the Captain's orders

secured and safely in the hold
I had no need to fret
the lateen sails were readied
drawn up the mast and set

sun shone brilliant, sky so clear
along Africa's gold coast shore
the journey would be smooth
captain couldn't have asked for more

with Portugal as destination
and royalty waiting there
crew's footsteps scurried on the deck
there was excitement in the air

the caravel set out to sail
'twas in the sixth month of the year
that traditional wedding time
and the date was coming near

the date I had to be delivered
for the princess bride to be
to be worn above her ***** fair
sparkling gems from 'cross the sea

I'll match her love-filled eyes
and complete the four required
not sure of old or new or borrowed
but for blue she'll have sapphire.
Oh my! What an "assignment"...prompt word: caravel.; write from the perspective of something blue.

Jade smoke drifting through
a heartbeat's ash descends upon the temple
and incense drowns out their murmurings

the cardinal's shadow nailed to the cross
now only a mocking bird's song can be heard
beneath the embossed covert

worshipers' nooses of jewels hang heavy and low
sermons spill downwards like thick honey
drops of golden truth clog up eager ears

black lace shifts with the breeze from the window
and the birds’ song passes around the listeners
full of clandestine truths, it’s time to convert

emeralds, rubies, diamonds, all covered in golden jade
and in another beat are surrendered
to the temptress
