We met in the park,
I jostled him as a lark.
Our eyes locked,
Our souls touched,
Our hearts connected,
I felt I had known him before,
What had life for me in store,
Was it instant love.
I met my boyfriend in the park and we fell in love and our love grew stronger day by day.

Forever and an instant met up one day,
had a short but lovely talk,
then each went on its way.
El cuadro en la pared
Tiene un paisaje bello,
Hay un hombre sentado
Y un auto viejo.

En el cuadro de al lado
Hay una casa al fondo,
Con 3 ventanas
Y puedo ver la luz encendida.

En el cuadro de al lado
hay sombras por la ventana,
son de una mujer sentada
Y presiento que me mira.

En el cuadro de al lado
Hay arboles marrones
Y tras el auto viejo
Hay un hombre extraño
Y siento que me observa.

En el cuadro de al lado
Las luces se han apagado
Y la silueta de la mujer
Se a esfumado.

En el cuadro de al lado
¡Suena un timbre!
Creo que me han encontrado.

Lightning is the fleeting thorn of blooming thunder
The self-erasing crack into the sky window
The laceration of the clouds that left no scar
And sealed itself instantly
And bled to life bountiful
Shifting afloat in deep grey

*

The lightning showed me the way
To the burning tree
The clouds were dark with worry
That I would not see
The thunder told me to hurry
Before the earth swallows me
a nice song that I found to go along: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-ll5GuR5CNU

Whatever that song would look like...
I swear that you could see it in my eyes
Reflected here
Right now
Within this moment
Where I am alive
Just for an instant

Our existence consists of a resistance to the persistent indifference,
The instinct without substance, consistent yet distant,
That will influence our adolescence, make us insistent and violent,
Until in an instant we will all become silent.

"if your personality was a beverage,
what beverage would it be?"

She said: "I think I'd be Coffee"

"No,
You can't be coffee."

You're too sweet
Cheap, With two shots of vanilla

COFFEE is bold, smokey,
Burns your throat.

I had coffee once,
Brandy

Woke up to her every morning,
For years I got drunk off of her
When I didn't drink enough water
She made me sick.
but I never drank water
Went down the hall
to a sippy cup full of milk.

Even she,
was not just milk.
She was strawberry milk.
My little Coffee milk.

You are not Coffee.
You are water.

But soak up all my grounds
***** yourself on the dead burnt cherries
I've left for you.

Maybe
you can be some quick
instant version.
Sometimes I forget for an instant
who we are.
In those moments where:
I hold your head in my lap and brush my hands through your hair.
You hold me captive against you under the freezing stream of water in the shower.
I watch the lights dance across your face as we drive through small towns late at night.
You stand behind me in the kitchen next to the stove, strewing kisses across my back,
my shoulders, my neck.

In those moments you are everything. You are mine.
And she doesn't exist.
because my heart hurts. and because I ****. and because I’m stupid and I’m crazy about someone that isn’t mine.

You are so ordinary
With beautiful qualities,
Just like everybody
Has something
Beautiful about them.

You have flaws
That shine as bright as sunlight,
Just like everybody
Has something
That makes them human.

Yet I love you,
Not them,
So I ask:
Why?

You have beautiful eyes, yes
But so do so many others.
You have a great wit about you,
But still, so do so many others.
We have common interests,
You can be stubborn but keep your manners,
And we can talk about anything,
But yet again, so do so many others.

So I repeat:
I love you,
Not them,
But why?

It all happened in an instant--
An unsuspecting moment--
When someone else was talking,
I looked around the room
And I met your gaze.

The moment before, I was free
And the moment after, I was not.

Your eyes smiled,
No lips needed
To convey the twinkle
That caught my heart.

All in an instant,
I fell in love,
All too deeply
With you.
Garret Dychiao Apr 2016
I walked into a room filled with unfamiliar faces.
I sat down and felt a chill of insecurity creep up my spine.
I looked around and I saw you for the very first time.

You and your crooked smile and awkward laugh.
You being the center of attention in the room.
You and your ****** yet wide eyes.
You and your gorgeous hair folded behind your ears.
You and your sporty look because you knew you could work it.
You and everything about you.

Never did I think that
love at first sight was ever possible.
It was an absolute cliche.
Then I saw you, and I knew
that I was in deep **** right there.

I will never forget the first time I saw you
because it was at that instant that I knew
that I loved you beyond sanity.
