Her  name  was  Ever
She  was  fab, flawless  and  clever
A  fruit  with  sweet  flavor.

She  fell  ill, ****  fever
Forgetting  her  I  will  never.

Absolutely, no one can live forever.
Indeed,no one can live forever.

Where all flavours in life,
never does one taste the same.
but some are similar, close friends that are shades
so varied  but tastes just slightly different from the other.
We think we no choice to our flavour of life.

We think where all trapped within a vacuum of a world
where we think we have  no choice
but to be either this or that.
But where all different flavours that have more choice
than we realise. we just have to look outside the Jar.

Finding that even though were enclosed,
that we don't have to be just one flavour in life,
that we can be a mixture of varieties.
No one has to taste the same life is never just
              Blue,
                         Green, or Orange,
Were what ever flavour we wish, ever changing in life.

my favourite flavour
has always been cherry
it’s just sweet and lovely

much like you
you’re funny
and bubbly

you make me smile
and laugh when im
feeling down

if i had to pick
a flower to give you
it’d be a rose

and not just because
it’s your middle name
but because it’s beautiful

and you my dear
are absolutely
breathtaking

but what does it mean
to be in love
with someone like you?

well, i’d say it starts
with inside jokes
and lots of laughter

or maybe spending time
together by watching
livestreams or videos

it quite possibly
could’ve started with
your kindness

you seem impossible
yet
here you are

you’re real
and you exist
and i’m incredibly happy

to call you
the one that
i love
i'm so in love with you and i'm honestly ecstatic

The *** sat enthroned,
serene while concealing
the heated turmoil within.
Matching cups laid in wait,
straining against imposed patience,
anticipating the flow of flavour,
the afternoon pleasure
enveloped around the familiar ritual
of shared sweet-musk darjeeling,
while lemon slices rested, reclining,
indifferent but ready if needed.
-
I sat transfixed in Sunday best;
awaiting my slice of black forrest,
impervious to this most grown up delight.
Memories of afternoon tea and childish impatience.

Let this taste last you a second longer,
Roll it out of each bud and into another
As the flavour dissipates, remember,
You have ingested more of yourself
Than you have of any other lover;
Your eternal loneliness is self-sufficient,
Flavourful, nutritious, delicious… etc. etc.
Indulge in the phantom of your lasting selves.

Night lowers its curtain of silence,
my only time to steal away, and
**** the flavour out of every
lovely rind.

It is its lime
bitterness,
mine to enjoy.
If only I could taste it.

Such is my next exam on Saturday,
Yes I mean tomorrow.

Yes, extra time I do get for writing,
Because I'm partially disabled.

But even in extra time I barely manage it.

I've had my breakfast,
Still I'm so much hungry,
Only 'cause of her, I guess!

I've not talked to her,
She's the only hunger I've,
Both in my days & my nights.

I've liked her flavour,
Flavoured it is like olives,
Her voice is my final dessert.
A morning poem for my enamorata.

Our love is a living legend,
Of our story there is no end,
We together will make a life.

I'll sure be a good husband,
And the most loyal partner,
She'll make the best wife..

As it started centuries ago,
Ah, the yolk is mature now,
The egg of our relationship...

Not hollow - it's just sturdy,
Of its sweets we're worthy,
It's the Easter of our love..

We both relish its flavour,
We've that rich exclusivity,
Our world of love we live in.

Compliments to the baker
and so too my Barista
Smoothest crema on the tongue
juxtapose to lemon vapour.

Intense acute sensations
insist I close my eyes
Submit in rare humility
in awe of nature's true franchise.

Clarion note of citron zest
resounds on mellow creamy seas
Mediterranean sun distilled
now is witnessed here in me.

Tempered, rounded bitter hues
from Amazonian dark recess
waited aeons to infuse
and bring about this wanton bliss.
