Once upon a time
I fell in love with myself
I loved the way I saw the world, with an innocence now lost
I believed every lie and dreamed of rescuing dragons from princesses
I still remember the day my world shattered, and I started see the truth
An empty birthday party
A lonely slumber party
Whispers behind everyone's back
I didn't want to spread rumors, but to keep my friends, I did
And with my words, I burned bridges
How could I trust myself after telling those secrets that had been entrusted to me
Unclean and repentant, I sought forgiveness but there was none to be found
Not from myself
I tried to redeem myself by stepping away from the games, but though I hoard secrets, the dragons have all fled
There is no happily ever after here
A girls world in a man's imagination,
Just hang in there.
I once saw a fairy Kiss the ground and a Flower arose
Even from the murkiest of depths there will always be a twinkle
Especially with How you look at the world with those big brown stellar eyes
The sunsets smile surprised me
“I still can’t pull your heart out of the ashes anyway” she said

I Have too many thoughts in my Mouth

“The greeks did not believe the gods created the universe,
It was the other way around:
The universe created the gods.”

Sherbert filled skies
With gleaming helicopter eyes
Cashmere fields to rest your head
Even the heavens cry sometimes
these are all individual segments of poetry that I have written in different times through out this year and I thought it would be fun to put it all together and maybe create a story, enjoy!

once,
there was a prince.
a prince with fairy blue hair.
he loved fairies with all his heart,
he believed they existed too.

he met a fairy,
a pretty one,
with pink hair and
pretty brown eyes.
their cheeks were rosy.

the prince thought, i think i found my love.

it wasn’t until,
he realized,
that the fairy he loved,
was a boy too.
it didn’t matter to him.

but when mother
and father found out.
they kicked the prince out.
the prince frowned,
sitting on the grass,
all alone in the cold night.

he had nowhere to go.
his family had disowned him,
for loving a a fairy.
he was confused.

why did mother and father
kick me out,
for loving a fairy boy?
was I not supposed to?

the prince wiped his eyes in frustration,
his vision was glossy.
he was sad and very cold.
he laid on the grass,
on his side,
in the woods.
with only a little bag of his belongings.
with no money or food.

“prince?” the prince looked up with teary eyes
and saw,
fairy boy.
he cried out and held him.
fairy boy was confused now.

why was the one he loved crying?

“prince? what is wrong
my love?” fairy boy said.

“i’ve got no home to go to.”
prince said.

“that’s wrong my prince.”
fairy boy said.
“for as i, have our,
home waiting for you.”

“take me home fairy.”
prince held his hand.

“anything for you,
joey.”

You barged right in with not a care in the world
Of how deeply I'd fall and hit the ground
I knew I'd fell, for I hurt inside
But I could still be falling, there's no end in sight
Like Alice in a wonderland nothing seems quite right
Still I drink your potion readily and prepare to hold on tight
I catch you in my dream hoping you'll stay the entire night
My subconscious has a knowing, I'll be alone by morning light
Every time I get back up and dust myself down
You just steamroll right back through me, knocking me out
My palms left sweaty my mouth left dry
As I wonder if my feelings can lie
For here things aren't what they always appear
The pain of unknowing is my only fear
So, for now, your seas have calmed
And your storm has settled down
Left me cold and windswept
With droplets on my brow
I'll do what I must to do for now
For when night time falls again
I'll be back in my beautiful nightmare
Where you think of me now and then

Through fairy-tales
                   you divided a moon..

But though broken
                   creators divulge ignorance...

No horse can
                   divide the heavens..

Moonlight shimmers
and sparks the lights
of starlight roads
across the night.

Gentle winds softly caress
calm and soothing forest
trees,
the dark night firmly recreates
feelings of eternal peace.

Somewhere below
the stale moon's embrace,
a man wanders lost
without a trace.

His sanity wavers
his soul rips apart,
the blood pressure rises
in his hollow heart.

Cold winds roughl  y strike
shivers down the lost soul's

the trees, as twisted as the night

I fell for a fairy,
She was flower
Daughter of the sun.
I worship the moon,
I live among fungi.
A fairy that was fire
I am a rat,
Soaked by the moon's tears.
I don't know why,
But she kissed me,
I dreamt of being a creature like she was,
I dreamt of living in the sun
Among the flowers of her back,
Her wings,
I dreamt.
She didn't like my sadness,
My insecurity,
The spores growing on my skin.

I had a line but she left
when my pen insulted paper.
The alabaster canvas
wanting nothing of my stains,
sent the line away by screaming.
I lost her
in my pain.

The line flew to the wood
like a fairy sparkling green
and now is lost to wonder
dropping silver magic
round the blooms
on the leaves;
her hiding trick.

If you wander in the wood
keep an eye for me.
When you catch her
please be true.
The line I lost to wonder
belongs to me,
not you!
Last night I lost a line on my way to dreaming.  Who brought her back to me?
