In the end
We never really know
We dont know how we got here
And we dont know where we are going
In the end
Well at least for me, in the end
I found someone who understands me
Who truely knows what its like to be in my shoes
The end is all that really matters isnt it?
Because our whole life, we are always focusing on that point far away
Never stoping, never looking back
So is that one fixed point in our future all that matters?
Certainly not because even tho we look straight at it, the closer we get, the more tempted we are to look away, i dont want to see what lies beyond that point where my life draws to a close
And my mind is forever
Lost

In the end
We look back
And we see what we have always been looking for
We see the happiness
The so called meaning of life
The beauty of the world
And the beauty of love
In the end
It is a dream, a very pleasant dream for most
And for some...im sorry to say...a nightmare
But it all comes to a close
Those who suffer can feel releif
At that final moment in their life
A moment that cannot be taken away
A moment that belongs to them,
And those who look back upon fond memories of days past can feel pride
Of what accomplishments their will has brought to the world

In the end
The end is really what you make of it
A dream, a nightmare, a tradgety or one final justice
The end is nothing more
Or less
Than that

And if it seems to be approaching too quick then by all means
Slow it, do everything you can to slow it
But never try to speed it up
Or stop it
You only get to understand and make certain of what it all means once
And after that
Lights out
So let it take its time
And when the day comes to meet it
Shake its hand and welcome it with open arms
As you would
And old friend

"He intends to understand all that he was and is to be, and so he will accept what comes to him with open arms; the willingness to find out what lies beyond will not be forsaken by any intuition brought forth by a power other than the power that lies within"

Really some deep thought put into this
Dawn of Lighten Feb 2016
He stood on the "Endless Bridge" in Guthrie Theater,
And looked onward at the old abandon mill district of Minneapolis.

The crescent moon ascended to the glimmer of the city lights
As the nature of the wind pulled his hair back to shed his hidden soul.

The Mississippi River clash against the pavements of the dam,
And the moist from the river felt through the air on the pours of the skin.

Neon lights of the 35W reminded the contemporary architect of modern city,
But the old mill district had it's ever so present among the modern buildings.

In that silence she walked down the aisle from the theater entry onto the balcony,
The silent graceful walk even in heels like a prey of the jungle,
There she stood next to him to reach her arm around his.

He glanced onto her face matching his eyes to her's,
And she pulled the most warm honest smile of innocence.

Upon his gaze upon her dark glistened navy blue dress,
With golden neckless he gave her as their anniversary gift,
And pearl earring illuminated the moon light of nightly beauty.

"You look majestic," barely able to mutter as he faced her side by side,
And his back against the solid balcony wall.
As title implies, this is the scene in screen write's epilogue.
To those people who are new to Minneapolis area, here is bit of description from a well known news source.   http://twincitiestourguide.com/2008/09/20/stop-4-the-guthrie-theater-innovative-exciting-blue/

I woke today
tired, worn, drained
as if I had slept to the point of exhaustion
only to wake to an even deader city
for all I saw were zigzag avenues
and twisted streets
and broken boulevards
that led to nowhere
but dead ends.

This is where it ends
Is it an empire or deception?
I have sailed on slave ships of doldrums
into the black sun
Waves crashed the bow
and wrecked on the shore

This is where it begins
Is it condemnation or suicide?
Take a step on the crooked concrete sidewalks
Jagged edges of busted rocks
and blistered feet

All values die fast
For all of those who have seen
Easy ends and means

Upbringing starts ,
when parents teach to  children  to walk & talk.

It happily continu ,
When parents suggest to the kids  to run & sing.

It sadly just ends ,
when parents tell to the teens  to sit & shut up.

I'm sick of these friendships that only bring pain
Saying you do everything
These fights that only bring blame
But where were you friend
When I needed you most
When I thought it was the end
The person I leaned on
Appeared to be gone
So this is it
Final goodbye
I deleted your contact
I'll never say hi
just trying to heal with words.

I was your 'girl' and your 'wife'
But then the storm came ruining the both of us
And I woke up naked and lonely
This was how I turned out to be your cold meat.
I found myself in your arms even when we were no longer the way we were. I thought it was love but you were only missing my skin and my touch.

Tell Your friends, tell your friends,
that you haven't ******* loose ends,
shooting at paper planes,
and carrying weight,

tell your friends, tell your friends,
that it ends where it begins,
better perfect your aim,
Because there's no time to waste,

Erasing limits far beyond our humanity,
Pure in the greatest of forms and all your social graces,
Tell that ***** pest to trade places
So you could be in the upper class of delightfulness,
But knowing in reality your delightful mess.

Letting go
Of something you love
Is like letting  go a rubber band
And you're holding it
from both ends
long time no poem
