Madam X Jan 2018
I have not yet pricked my finger upon the needle of a yarn spinning wheel
Nor have I bitten from a poisonous fruit
Midnight has passed and I am still in my clothes from last nights meal
And a sea witch has not made me mute.

I still have yet to kiss the lips
of a prince whose come to save me.
The last girl who did that, turned into
a frog
But fell in love severely.

I haven't had the chance to prove my bravery
with a sword or bow and arrow
For I am no princess, just patiently waiting,
For my one true kneeling pharaoh.
I tried to mention a majority of the Disney princess stories, though I realize I excluded quite a few. Please comment a fitting title. I'm having a bit of trouble.

Yet they prevail
Finally
Together
They are friends
They are bound
They are unstoppable!
They are and will always be
Together
Forever
Forever
Forever

No
Wrong
No that’s not what happens
The hope that their friendship will strengthen they accept that they can never have each other in their lives as if this was the inevitable conclusion that no being could control
I look down at my

Is that my inevitable end
That the ones I hold dear
We too
Eventually
Crumble from what we are divided by
Will my friendships be hollowed down to difference as theirs was?
I have mixed feelings about this Disney movie. I could never watch this to the end as a kid as the end would upset me so. I had a huge fear that the friendships I had would inevitably break from difference. This movie wasn’t great for me
The prince is a frog
Kiss his lips lovely princess
Live a Disney dream
It is okay to dream
Madam X Nov 2017
I'm that girl who hopes to be taken by the hand
And drifted off to neverland
Leaving my worries behind me
And soaring in the sky, free

I'm that girl who waits for a prince
And a strong true loves kiss
But I don't really need saving
It's only the passion I'm craving

Im that girl who wishes to live in a Disney movie
With nature, songs, and tremendous beauty
But instead I live in a tearful drama
With blackish skies and lasting trauma

leaching moments glide
carpets are flea infested

feeding on the weak

wishes once on stars
now there scratched upon lotions

wishes end torment

every wish a price
deathly heights balance falter

princes do fall hard

wishes wasteful spent
genie does smile, wasted breath

no happy endings.

Here, I sail to regions unknown.
On the tides of bliss, you are shown.
Your sweet strokes can calm my heart.
As fear and pain depart.

How the sun is dim to your smile.
West winds blow as I dream of the Isle.
For one day, we will lock our hands.
Upon the golden sands...

Writhe and roar! Sea and tempest grow!
Rise, my Dutchman! Rock to and fro!
Set the sails and man all the helms!
Postpone our journey's end.

Death ascends upon the throne.
As wild as I am alone.
Come to the sea, and cut through the waves.
Hurry to your watery grave!

And my love, who can't be restrained.
I will vow that I'll make you pay!
Drag them, bind them, take their souls!
And hear the death bell toll!

For my love, I gave you my heart.
So that we will never part.
Forever you were my always.
I'll set the sea ablaze.

How I've dreamed we'd meet on the lands.
Words of love have crumbled to sand.
For years, I drown with misery.
I want my liberty...

Unlike you, my heart isn't chained.
Hear my *****, feel my pain!
Lost and cold, my heart knows no rest!
Within this dead man's chest...
Tweaked the poem a bit and added an extra section.
PoTC: DMC is one of my alltime favourite films and as I said before,
I'm obsessed with Davy Jones' Lullaby!

Your curse, I won't obey.

.Dead chest, safeguard my heart...
Was binge watching the PoTC franchise. It reminded me of how much I loved Davy Jones' lullaby.
Not great I know so I apologise! These are the words that come into mind
when I listen to the OST.

Ta-targaryen
Ta-ta-targaryen
Jonnnn the Targaryen
Cute but a wimp
His sisters Sansa and Arry
Are the Lady and the Chimp
His Mom and Dad were King and Queen of the land of Westeros
They were killed by Robert Barry
and now Cersei is the bosssss
For those who don't know what this is, please Google the theme song to Dave the Barbarian (cartoon from the 2000s) and sing along!
I sang/messaged this to my friends (IN CAPS) last year when Jon's parentage was confirmed.. felt like sharing it here just because!

Twenty. Three. Hours.
Sardines sleeping on ***** floors
not caring about the shoe marks
avoiding the possibility of getting drooled on
We sang songs from rent between the seats
ANDY YOU GOONIE

Are we there yet?
I am the snack queen my children
Are we there yet?
it’s so much warmer than back home
ARE WE THERE YET?

I woke to see my first palm tree
palm trees are ******* weird

I was a princess
I let her curl my hair
I can’t feel my fingers
I understand why kids are always crying at Disney world
Its sensory overload

We lay on the beach
Our feet touch the ocean for the very first time
Her sunburn didn’t go away for weeks
we wanted to be jedis
Why was it “12 and under”
THEY DON’T UNDERSTAND

We sang songs from beauty and the beast
bonjour bonjour
Marie the baguettes hurry up
We got stuck on small world
We died on pirates of the Caribbean
You promised there wasn’t going to be a drop
I WAS NOT PREPARED

We watch the fireworks
And the neon lights
before being packed like sardines once again
Listening to her say ANDY YOU GOONIE
But that’s okay
Because I just love you guys.

I'm a Disney princess
A pretty, pretty actress
Sought by handsome princes
and by ugly wicked witches

My hair is blonde
and shiny and smooth
or soft and long
and fragrant and strong

I'm just like my hair
Shining bright like a flare
In a world of unfair
I'd get even and square

(Grr, grr!)

'Cause I'm a Disney princess
My skin is white and lovely
So are  my eyes and my teeth
And everything about me

Because I am perfect
I'm created to win
I'm the hero of your dreams
Armed with my tears and high-pitched screams

Sometimes I'd only sleep
Then there comes his charming kiss
It's hot, it's sweet, it's salty
Thanks for waking me up!

Sometimes I'd sneak on a ball
Dancing 'til I hear my midnight call
And leave one of my silver slippers
For my curious prince to ponder
Then he'd seek and find me
And we'll live happily ever after!

Wait, why am I here
In this sad forgotten tower?
With my evergrowing golden hair
Can't even find a single stair

I wanna go down
I wanna go down so badly
I wanna go down so deeply
Somebody please help me
Please help me go down

And my wish is granted:
A prince had just appeared
He pulled down my slender hair
Saved me from my lonely despair
But “ouch! That hurts!”
No it didn't! I'm just trying to flirt!

(Wink, wink!)

'Cause I'm a Disney princess
I can have all that I want
I can make all those mistakes
And fix them with a magical wand!

My life is a dazzling fairy tale
Packed with curses and magic spells
Who really cares about moral lessons
If everyone's happy like a bunch of morons?

Because I'm a Disney princess!
Everybody loves me
Whatever I do
You still wanna be me!

Curtain closes,
bells go chimes
My story ain't over,
it's just begun
Countdown starts,
five times the fun
Four times the thrill,
the Evil Queen awakes
Thrice made the chill,
the dragon is unleashed
Twice turn the pages,
here come the mages
Once upon a time,
I'm a Disney princess!
