beautiful whispers in my ears
easing all of my darkest fears
i kiss you then and hold you tight
and waiting for the coming of night

i light the cigarette and watch the smoke
and pocket my nails, jagged and broke
the tempest is nigh, winds are blowing
we zip up our coats, knowing:

it will be rough, it will be a test
everything dear will be lost lest
we stand tall and shout aloud
we are proud and will not be cowed

for we are stoic in the face of death
and with a full chorus of hitched breath
i pirouette and twirl and laugh and sing
nothing will subdue this couple of kings!

You have burned me down,
But through the flames...
I am still
BREATHING
LIVING
CRYING
SCREAMING
WALKING
RUNNING
LAUGHING
ALIVE
Not matter how hard you tried to bury me…
I am still
SURVIVING
LETTING GO
FORGIVING
HEALING
GROWING
BLOSSOMING
FINDING MYSELF
BECOMING…
A different person from the person
you tried to and are still trying to…
DESTROY
CORRUPT
MANIPULATE
CRUSH
TERRIFY
BEAT DOWN
CONTROL
This is my final creed to you
I promise you I will always…
FIGHT UNTIL MY LAST BREATH
HAVE AS MUCH COURAGE AS I CAN MUSTER
BATTLE FOR WHAT IS RIGHT
PROTECT AS MANY PEOPLE AS I CAN
LOVE LIKE I ALWAYS HAVE
FORGIVE PEOPLE WHO DESERVE IT
HAVE UNENDING KINDNESS FOR PEOPLE WHO DON’T…
Like yourself.
I won’t let you take my…
KINDNESS
BRAVERY
COURAGE
LOVE
SWEETNESS
PRIDE
HUMILITY
EMPATHY
I refuse to give you that power
- Out of the FIRE I was born again

She said don't
But he didn't mind
He walked right at her
With a devil's intention.

She wanted to scream
And call her parents.
But he threatened her.
Her silent tears shed.

By each step he took
Her heart beat rapidly
As if she ran a thousand miles
To get away from here
She just closed her eyes
And took the torture.

She always wore a mask then
A happy one for the world.

She never uttered a word to anyone
Until now,
She opened herself to me
I was shocked
Couldn't do anything to fight
Just the prayers
To keep her strong.

I've seen several brave girls
But none of them replaced her.

Keep fighting,  my friend.
Girls are not toys. Society needs to respect every girls.

Your soft words wrap me
Like your warm arms
Embracing me in your empathy
Protecting me from any harms

Your everlasting bravery since birth
Like a willful fire of great length
Burning at an inexhaustible heart
Nothing measurable to that strength

Your lyrical love is precious
Like your presence and the air
Enveloping all in heartfelt caress
Exhibiting irreplaceable care
I feel this is an unfinished poem...
sorry for my trash.

Black is the Knight after the storm,
the tumultuous tide swallowed him and now
he's alone.
Rivers, seas and rains all collect in the Heavens, but the waves have paused. No aggression.
Deep lunges in the sand, he makes his way to optimistic land.
His shell is bruised but his soul, soothed. The squall has cleansed him, he needed clarity
from his life filled with misery, jealousy and tyranny.
He takes off his armor as he walks further, over the shingle
the stones, the mud and the grass, in the distance the clouds gently crash like a cymbal.
The air is pure, damp and refreshing,
he falls bare to the earth.
Caressing and stretching.
Mind wide open although he's been tested.
No more guessing, he's his own possession.
power pose
in front of the angry men
"we're not scared of you"

but they should be
she spits fire bright
from lips she wears matte dark
she's digging the perfectly manicured claws into the palms of her hand
hands that bring incredible generosity
and incredible pain
depending on how audaciously you approach her

with your alcohol-stenched breath
and a body that takes up space
but contains nothing of substance
aside from liquor of course
an empty, angry vessel of wordy slurs and slurred words

she knows they don't deserve her tears
they should feel grateful to receive even a smirk
an ounce of her attention
in this economy
with the men who untuck their shirts after a long day's work
unaware of what the women have been up to
is priceless

you can't commodify what you can't touch

they are not beds waiting for you
to lay down on
to make your lives easier
while you weigh down upon ours

her silk sheet skin
and the comfort of knowing she will be there at 2pm and 2am

this is her home
this body is an address
it is not your residence
loiterers will be fined
she will be fine

power pose
the power grows
this is your power prose
because mama,
you will be fine
for jass

Never say never unless your saying your never going to say it.

2. Dream bigger. Even if it doesn't come true, there was fun in dreaming it.

3. Why date when your not old enough to get married? Your heart is like a big tank. There are different compartments in that tank. One for friends, family, and the one you'll spend the rest of your life with. There is only so much love in that compartment. If you give a bunch of it away on boyfriends and girlfriends, there won't be much left on your one true love. Your husband or wife. Stay friends for a while. Then date. Then engagement. Then marriage. Then children. Then tell your children about this and so on. Etc. etc. blah blah blah.

4. Choose the right friends. They really do influence you. A lot. So be around those people you say " Oh!! I wish I could be like that!!" Because you will.

5. Don't be afraid. Be courageous. See Joshua 1:9 or 9:1. Trust in the LORD.
By me and my dad. Thanks a lot. Bunches of love!!❤️❤️

I will live every second
Follow my heart

Get lost
Find my way

Rejoice in sunshine
Dance in rain

Make mistakes
Apologise
Make new ones

Learn
Grow

Fall
Fly
Life is for living, and life happens in the moment
