Twists internally
Mirror bent
Shadow creature haunts me
Mind mental madness
Dark little piece ..internal haunting

The once little, little prince,
stood wide-eyed, unto the sunless sky,
there, winged was she,
Rapunzel fair, princess no longer for he.

You see, he doesn't remember now,
how long ago it was he was told,
To find a princess, locked far away,
and if patient be ye, so too will treasure most pure,
be
his own.

And when, after many years traveling hence,
he arrived there upon the scene,
of the long, lonely tower, spiraling up,
there on and until the single window,
opened gently, and residing faintly,
laid a dream, he could not appease,
nay, no matter how much he rubbed his eyes,
Still, did the little prince look up and see,
Fair Rapunzel, in all her resplendent beauty.

Wait, she said, smiling gold,
In just a few years hence,
She laughed, merrily,
Will my hair grow long enough,
for you my dear Prince,
To come on up and truly rescue me.
For now it is good to talk,
and dream and be, for surely still,
must my luck be overwhelming,
with you here, to keep me company.
With just, YOU, here, little prince,
eyes nearly watering, she whispered,
And now not for me to be so lonely.

The little prince's heart, somewhere long gone,
Along the way, had already flittered up,
Though she could scarcely feel it,
With tower keeping them at bay,
Indeed it it land on her doorstep,
And there, long, did it lay.

So for many years, the Little Prince,
And Rapunzel did lay,
Her up high, and he down low,
With her hair, growing more each day.
And he was happy though, he was not sure,
If he was more trapped than her,
encased, but with each days growth,
of her luscious golden hair, did each time,
take a bit of his aching heart, beat by beat,
before mind barely had a say.

And then, alas, a few seasons hence more,
Around the corner was he, into her arms,
Evermore.
But cruel fate did lay, such plans for naught,
For at once her hair doth shed, and wings did she partook,
Yea, Little Prince, said she, Though doeth I love you so,
And the price I paid was dark and grave,
No bargain have I pursued could ever be forsook,
As this, one feeling, oh to fly over stone,
valley, canyon, and brook,
To be free, untethered, beating release,
NO LONGER DO I NEED WAIT,
OH WITHOUT SUCH WASTEFUL WORDS AS PATEINCE!
Now I am my queen, and you,
She looked down softly,
Not even my cook.

And the little prince looked up in awe,
Always believing in that which he was seeing,
awful though was his mind, that, Even still,
as his heart did empty,
did it endeavor, hurriedly quick,
To deny that reality, of waiting for a trick.
I was a game, he thought, but still,
if this be a quirk of god or fate,
Even now, in its very face will I,
Lucifer, be, Agnostic in this,
my hell.

So he closed his red eyes,
as his angel did ascend,
ne'er close did he ever reach,
someone.
Just a story now,
for children,
and growing young men,
Don't wait so long for someone,
you love in a tower,
or else you'll find yourself,
too, A...
Little Prince, not so little,
Anymore.
So much symbolism. For me. For life. For others. And, I must admit, not even did I see that ending coming.

Shallow grave below
I am but here
Last breathe taken
I shown no fear

Reverse my time
Twelve minutes before
Alive with feeling
Night time adore

Strangers are a few
Poisons around
Lines on the mirror
Needles abound

Tripped by the shroom
Melting the phone
One hit on the ball
Felt all alone

Stranded by fault
Eyes rolled behind
Numb by the notion
Chilled and unkind

Face down in the dirt
One minute to go
Life flashed of nothing
I am sorry, I am cold
Life is full of poisons, don't take the wrong ones

Swerving

We're swerving

In slow motion

With eyes closed

Toward the river

Holding hands

Smiling

Moving over lanes

Fast

Toward the rail

With our baby in the trunk

Wrapped snug in the American Flag
Some people will follow a symbolic piece of fabric so blindly, they're willing to sacrifice anything.

The light is struck away in a cold confusing slash of night
Black creeping at my windowsill signifying the strangeness of unfamiliar surroundings
Changed and twisted by the lack of sound the sleep of others brings
I stay roused in the dark
      Silence biting at my ears
My mind asking itself rhetorical questions

        Pacing and pacing and pacing
         and pacing and pacing

Staring out my window at slanted shadows that seem to smile back
           They're very telling
They want to get in, and bad.

*I pray to God they don't.

The only thing i solemnly swear
Is to violently tear
A hole in the sky
And climb through the air til im finally there
A few died on a cross just to try and be heirs
Facing facts God's face is black and they're inherently scared
If i reach a throne
Physical or metaphorical
I'm dealing miracles like morphine drips
And you could score a few
Otherwise
Im holding torture tournaments
Inside the gates of heaven
God begging ME for mercy as i torch him and his brethren
Eleven times over I've tried to bind Jehovah
To a book men have died for trying to be soldiers
Writ in blood the words inside lose all their touch
Im losing all this blood just to try and feel the rush
Of turning the last page and alighting all the brush
Don't back away from the flame

Its just me

Talking to US
I am Legion?)))

Take it just a little too deep

       Skin burning
   Knuckles cracking
         Knees buckle
  Just reacting

       Flying overhead with torn wings

Im a sad excuse of skin and bones
But you love me when we're alone

Take me back to where I was
Before I met you
Before I loved you
We used to have friends in common
Now I talk to no one but you

I give my heart and mind just to taste you.
I know I'll never get them back.

When those you supposedly hold close grow comatose
From the cold wind you blow from your collective holes
You'll know
The strength of the silence bearing down on your throat
Ripping your stupid little thoughts to shreds as they're spoke
You're nothing and never have been and I'll let it be known
In the absence of the annoyance you call your voice
These men you fill your life with will resound and rejoice
They could never fill the void you left in yourself
You're pathetic, worthless, and far beyond help
Dedicated to the more treacherous members of the Herring family. They know who they are.

I hear, there is no caring just lingering thoughts
Of what it's believed to never have been
Still your demons awakened my own
As i fulfilled my promise to give you all that i could

The evil surfaced in acid burns on the soul,
Your sulfur dragons born of barren dreams
Spewed fire that licked my flesh clean
And as you consumed the charred bits of my essence
I experienced the kind of freedom
Birthed in a place I never wanted to be

Relinquishing so much of my past, my pain
To have you grow stronger
As I dig my nails into my own flesh
To crawl out of the shadows I, myself, created

And I hear your gentle voice whisper vile commands
The hint of an evil smile as I dutifully acquiesce
Claimed in the darkness found in the corners of daylight
I kept my promise
And you claimed me
Mind, body, and soul

When my demons were quelled
As you slay them
As you bashed them into submission
My knight, in empty armor
My heart, now unbound, became full

Perhaps you believed that my heart would feed your own
But your heart turned to ash
The last time it loved
Still, your monsters were hungry
And my heart was full

You held me in the darkness
Your hand in mine
Keeping my sadness company
Turning friendship into love
'Tis who you are,
Who you hate yourself for being

In that place where your sweetness flows,
Where there is no doubt that you care
Your monsters ate my heart
Consuming chunks of my emotion
And I, having an abundance,
Was grateful for the chance to feed you

But my heart, now full of holes
Still mocked you in its ability to smile
So, you kissed me and held my heart once again
So I  would not drown in my own fear

And I gave you what you always wanted
Mind, body, heart, and soul

And there you were
All the while disgusted
That my promises
Don't feel like your reality
That my heart is more sweet than savory
And that my demons lie dormant
While yours are ravenous
Looking for new prey

The holes in my heart smolder
As I feel that familiar burn
The burn of the birth of new demons
11515
But I still love you

Asmodeus is the demon of lust
Agares is the destroyer of dignity
