I can't deny the fact that when I think of you, the wind always passes through. I know you're not gone from this world, but it's like your ghost. But I think of it as we were meant to be- but for only the time it takes wind to come through. Fleeting, passing, cherished, and just for a moment.

You taught me what it means to truly cherish every bit someone gives you- no matter how close they are, no matter who they are, no matter how long they stay.

This is what life is about- love, learning to love, cherishing, living with others in every moment. It means to live when things come unexpected. I love all of the moments I can remember- however fleeting- however small- whatever they were and meant to be.

And just like the breeze- you'll come and go, and I'll cherish whatever and wherever it does- without denial.

Just some prose I need to get out there. Healing is a time consuming process.

There's a river
just threatening to spill over
unless this rain season ends
Some days I long for a drought
Can there be days full of sunshine
and no worries?
Does that exist?
A day of melting ice cream,
the meddling sun putting
you in a trance
and only the worry is
what you do with
so much day left
No threatening drops for once
or hearts freezing stiff
You just... be.
And the rivers are at bay.

Stardust.
Pianoing through time,
dusting over your fingertips,
leaving small papertrails
"Crystalize the truth for me."
And so,
stardust will.
Oh mystical stardust,
why do you come at random?
The twinkle in your eye,
dancing through your dreams,
resting on the back of the moon,
Welcome, stardust.
Welcome to this world of love and doom.

Inspired by someone I know, who's heard the word "stardust" quite a few times in different contexts the past week.

Waves come crashing, as do
memories of you
How shall I remember you?
The oncoming and dreaded storm
that sends birds to other seas
to be far from it
Or,
the gentle breeze
just gracing the sands
letting the birds glide, their
wings singing so freely
Or,
maybe I'll stay here a while longer
soaking in these waves
Because, well,
what else shall I do with all of them?

His beauty brought attention
to even the prettiest of skies
His heart so full of passion,
even the fruit can't compare
His love in those crystal eyes,
even the water paled
But his color started to fade
The fall took what it could
His silence beckoned storms,
even across the seas
His hands of stone crushed
my spoiled heart-
He became
no longer in use
And so he left, along with the fall.

How could you?
Did you too,
ever love me?
Yes, even half past noon
How could I?
Ever love you?
Because I think I could've
Yes, even half past noon
And in the a.m.,
a quarter to two
An odd way to love, waiting in time
Maybe I shouldn't be so kind
Having you waste mine

Hazy eyes thousand-yard-staring
into trangressing skies
One's lovesick and heartache
that terrifies the Earth to shake
Crippling fear so bad
the seeds of flowers
hide a little longer, maybe just a tad
Can you believe nature feels your sorrow?
It feels what you may, even tomorrow.
