So These Days I’m Thinking...
WHO Can Be Said...
To Be... Heroes And Villains... ?

Cos’ It’s A Question That Begs...
For... INFORMED Decisions... !!!

Mainstream Descriptions...
Are Driven Through Pictures...
And Clearly Some Scriptures...
Do More Than Disfigure...

The Truth About Those...
Wearing... Emperors Clothes...

And Clearly Some Kings...
Have Done Villainous Things...

Just Like These Gangsters...
Who Like To **** Hammers... !!!
Who Get Hero Status...
In TV Show Chapters...

Or Are They Just Villains...
Who Do ***** Business... !?!

Which Leads Me To Money...
And Those Who Pursue It...
As If Their Name’s Bugsy...
And Love It Like Cupid... !!!

Are HEROES The Type...
Who’ll HIKE UP The Price...
Until You Can’t Pay...

Is That How They Behave... ?!?

Which Now Leads Me To Say...
That... Financial Villains...
Seem To Be... POLITICIANS... !!!

Who Deal In Restrictions...
And Secretive Missions... !!!

All Types of Conditions...
And Forms of Rendition...
That Use Ammunition...
To Indulge In Killing...
of Innocent Victims... !!!

But WHO’s INNOCENT...
And HEROIC In Death... ?!?

Whose Acts Are HEROIC...
When War Becomes POTENT... ?!?

Soldiers And Toters...
of BIG GUNS In Holsters...
That Cause Roller Coasters... ?!?

That Take Minds On Rides...
That DESTROY Peoples’ Lives...

And WHO Gets To Decide...
What A HERO DEFINES... ?!?

Those Who Hold POWER... !!!
And Make People Cower...
Because Who THEY KNOW...
Embrace VILLAINOUS Roles... !?!

The Type That Aren’t Shown...
In... Online Videos... !!!

Or On The BIG SCREEN...
If You Get What I Mean... ???

Are Heroes UNSEEN...
PRISTINE And SO CLEAN...
That They’re NEVER Dirtied...?!?

And What About Those...
Who Are Now Claiming Thrones...
In World Media Zones...

Are These People HEROES... ?!?

Or Just... BIG MONEY **’s...
Whose Souls Have DEEP Holes...
When Their Lives Are EXPOSED... !?!

It’s A World Where UNSTABLE...

People... Get NICE Labels...
That Seem To Tell Fables...

So Who Was The Villain...
Was It... Cain Or Abel... ?!?

When Truth Is What’s Written...
WHO Then Becomes VILLAINS... ?!?

Cos’ Heroes Would Seem...
To Embrace Secrecy...

According To Themes...
That Are Seen In Movies...

Hiding Behind...
All These Costumes And Masks...

Needing To Disguise...
Who They Actually Are...

Which Would Seem To Be Farce...
Because What Kind of Hero...
Just Works In... The Dark... ?!?

When People Need Light...
To STOP Villainous Hearts...
So That They Can See...
Who The REAL HEROES Be... !!!

And Then Consequently...
GET RID of New Villains...
BEFORE They Can Reach...
A Place Where They Feed...

Something Like Vaccines...
To Humans... GLOBALLY... !!!

You See Heroes And Villains...
Are DANGEROUS Labels...
To Be Out Their... Giving...
To... Corporate Stables... !!!
of Minds Who Devise...
Some Insidious Crimes... !!!

Like These BIG PHARMA Guys...
Whose Products Take Lives...

Just Check Through Their Files... !!!

These Days I’m Inclined...
To Not Just Apply...
A Title of Hero...
Or Villain To ZEROS... !!!

Because There Are MANY...
Whose Lives Are UNsTeaDy... !!!

Who Are NOT Heroic...

Their Egos Are BLOATED...
And Just OVERFLOWING...
With Compliments Given...
By People NOT DRIVEN...
To Take TIME To Listen...
And Compute Like... VISION... !!!

To See What Is Hidden...
BEHIND All Their Grinning... !?!

While Those Seen As Villains...
Are On Righteous Missions...
That DON’T Deal In Fiction...
... Abusing Or Killing... !!!

These People Are Willing...
To Take STRONG POSITIONS... !!!

That May See Them SUFFER...
Or Have To Take Cover...
From Villainous Suckers...
Who Move Just Like DARTH... !!!

Because Heroes Are STRONG...
And Will Fight Against Wrong...
From The Moment They START... !!!

While It Seems VILLAINS Are...
More Willing To Play...
Along With The Games...
That Are Now On Display...
On Our Big Screens Today...

And Then Have The Cheek...
When It’s Late In The Day...
To Then Start To Speak...
And Make ALL Kinds of Claims...
About Changing Their Ways...
And That Things Need To Change...

Just Like Villainous Snakes... !!!
They Just Slither Away...
And Make Worms Turn And Hate... !!!

While Heroes Stand STRAIGHT...
And Don’t Fear Facing Pain... !!!

Which Is Why I Have Written...
This Verse That’s Rhyme Driven...

Because Right Now I’m Thinking...
That Heroes Are MISSING...
While Villains Are Shifting...
The Rules of The Game...
To Suit VILLAINOUS Gains... !!!

So My Question Is This...
Who TRULY Now FITS...

And BEFITS The Description...
of Those Who Are Claimed...

To Be.....

..... “ Heroes And Villains “.....
I'm not so sure who's who, in this world now ???

The Commissioner has summoned Batman and Robin
The Bat signal had just came on
It was a night being long
Batman and Robin came in a flash on the scene
The villains will all eventually come clean
It seemed there was a big plot becoming an act
But when it comes to crime, it gets a big smack
The villains trying to get Batman and Robin dissolved
They wanted the crusader’s out of the way, and not involved
High above the Thrift building overlooking Gotham City
To the citizens below it will be a pity
Sleeping gas has been spreading to knock the city out
However Batman and Robin are trapped in a trunk being no where about
Every citizen has fallen asleep
Are the Gotham City citizens in a song of my soul to keep?
Will Batman and Robin escape being ocean deep?
The Bat channel continues on far as long
Batman was holding his breath, and suddenly broke from his bonds and cut Robin loss as well
They immediately headed for the Thrift building
When Batman and Robin arrived, all the villains were shocked in surprise
The question came up with how did you escape?
I’m Batman, and what saved me was my cape
Robin replied, “Let’s put these villains to their own sleep in jail deep”
POW from Batman to the RIDDLER
BANG from Robin to the JOKER
YONK to the other villains
Batman and Robin stated to the villains, “Crime truly doesn’t pay and you now received our relay”
Good Bat night and Batman and Robin turned crime into a justice sight.
DARK NIGHT AND ROBIN THAT ARE A TEAM, AND TELLING ALL VILLAINS YOU BETTER COME CLEAN
Ann M Johnson Apr 2016
Heroes and villains seem harder to define
when somethings happen to blur the lines
The villain style of justice may appear better than no justice at all
When the system fails the victim and makes the victim feel so small
Where are the Heros when evil abounds?
Are they still around?
Who fights for truth and justice throughout the land?
Who is brave enough to take a stand?
Remember heroes often are easily disguised as ordinary people and don't stand out in a crowd
Their anonymity allows them to work behind the scenes
they effectively crush the evil villains dreams.
The Heros tirelessly fight for truth and justice and selflessly care for others in need.
They support and encourage those that the villains of this world have knocked down.
The villains can too easily be found courtesy of our television screen they often make a showing on the 6 or 10 o clock news they are promoting violence they don't care about anyone else's views.
As far as Heros go you may discover that a Heros heart is contained inside of You.
Hero or Villain?
The choice is yours
Today you could take a stand to right some societal wrong
Today you can be strong and be a Hero to a friend or loved one or a stranger in need. To them can  make a difference indeed.
Hero's Traits:
H elping
E ncouraging
R espectful
O pportunity
Perhaps these traits are within you
Be the Hero that you long to see!

Villains gathered all over the world
Justice being a hurl
The Justice League all geared to take action
The Hulk ready to smash
Superman prepared at a moment’s notice to dash
Wonder Woman and her invisible Jet
Batman and Robin on Bat Alert
Spiderman tests his spider gear
The idea is to put the villains in fear
But across the globe, the villains are waiting for the marvel arrival
A trap they have planned
The idea is to get rid of the marvel heroes throughout the land
This is a new regime that’s in demand
So the Justice League in a meeting in total discussion
The mission is to be prepared to function
All the marvel heroes dash off in various areas of the globe
Villains beware
Its combined strength all the Marvel Heroes will share
So Marvel Heroes watch your step
Villains eye their plan being kept
Superman flies to the Alps
Suddenly Kryptonite downloads his strength
He becomes weak
Its superman’s strength the villains seek
The villains know Superman’s weak point
Attack having effect
The Hulk now is covered in boulders
It seems no way out
But it’s the Hulk’s strength we are talking about
However he does escape
All the rest of the Justice League team all has their own challengers
Yet they manage to conquer them
Justice is continuing to stay on track
Marvel Wonders right in the smack
Justice will take charge
Get ready villains, the Marvel Wonders are going to set the record straight
It will be iron of jails that will be your gate.

The Avengers all gathered together at the Justice League
Crimes are taking place
There is no time to waste
Villains in every category
This is where our journey begins being the story
Popcorn Man along with all Villains who want to make a spread in Gotham City
But all the Villains are helping become witty
The plan is to make Gotham City be buried in streams of Butter
Popcorn Man is determined to make all Gotham City residents to flutter
All the Avengers rush to defend
But later then
A trap has been set
Superman suddenly falls from the sky
A mysterious substance makes Man of Steel turn weak
For Superman this looks bleak
Across town Batman and Robin’s Batmobile is stuck in quick sand
What options are in their demand?
A plan needs to start now
The Hulk uses his strength ****** creating a deep hole being a straight line leading to the river, which makes the Butter head for it
Later, Thor and Ironman make the Butter dissolve
Meanwhile at the Popcorn Factory, Popcorn Man and every villain known to the Avengers are plotting the kennels in forming an army to over throw Gotham City, where Popcorn Man will be the Mayor in Control
But behold
It is not going without a fight from the Avengers
Hulk smashes here and there
Wonder Woman and Captain America battle with the mission to villains in beware
Thor and Ironman team up and utilize combined resources
Well all the Avengers forces win out
Popcorn Man and Villains have loss their punch
They are taken away to jail
The Avengers mission in they didn’t fail
Superman regained his strength
Batman and Robin escaped their ordeal
The Avengers stand hand in hand with a sunrise and sunset that will continue to shine, and let all Villains know, “Where there are the Avengers comes might”.
All the greatest heroes came out to fight

Batman, Sherlock Holmes, Hercules and all the rest

To face the greatest villains out that night

The ones that were the most evil at their best

The villains were going to take over the Universe and rule

But not one of them really wanted to share

The heroes were the ones honest and true

They were always ready to fight honest and fair

But both heroes and villains failed to see the greatest menace of all

For who wants to read what they can not see

So both heroes and villains, one by one would fall

Forgotten in books, because everyone now watches TV

But in reality, the story had that much effect.
It involves a crime write
It’s Villains that will be apprehended in plain sight
This doesn’t happen at night
The dialog is about two Villains and a Bank
But one of the Villain’s partner always is acting shrank
Yet, it was bank robbing to do
But the question remains, did these Villains think the Bank Heist through?
It seemed there were a lot of mistakes
They were robbing a bank for goodness sake
Their lives are at stake
One of the Villains set off the bank alarm
While the other Villain just couldn’t stay calm
Truth in not using their common sense with a mind
Perhaps even sounding sublime
The idea was to rob the bank without being detected
But the camera caught up and close personal being suspected
Inspector Poet was on the scene
He wrote and spoke, you Villains need to come clean
Inspector Poet also wrote, how stupid to get caught
The Police immediately arrived, and the Villains were taken to jail followed by Court
The Villains didn’t even fight
There were five police cars and back up was with might
Time doesn’t offer respect, but can have an outright effect
These Villains had no idea in what to expect
But Inspector Poet called this story one of his rejects
When Villains Win

Movies and books
They're all predictable
So unoriginal

I dream of a story
Where the plot is somewhat gory
And the villain
Isn't just chillin'

The hero and their nemesis
Are at a stale mate
And their actions aren't repetitive
Finally the hero's imperfections take over,
and he hits too late

The enemy takes control
And the moment, he stole
He doesn't hesitate
A second, he doesn't wait
Time isn't slowed down
He doesn't take his sweet time
So quickly, he cuts the line

The end of the hero
A new beginning for evil
Heath Leonard Aug 2012
Why would it seem that all the villains,
Are the most misunderstood?
One is never born simply 'evil'
They just grew up with problems,
Problems everyone else can get.
You never see problems with heroes,
Perhaps because they've come to just hide them better.
We should show care to everyone,
So no soul is left neglected,
As many are.
Then there would be no villains,
Then there would be no heroes,
Then there would be only people.
Like you and I.

Why does a TV series, Bat Phone, Villains and Gotham City have in common?
Batman played by Adam West
Adam West, you fought a good fight
Your name will continue to shine written in the Batman light
Villains always felt they had you trapped
But along with Robin you give them a tough lesson of smack
Your thinking plans were always sharp as a tack
But leave it to the Bat computer to figure villains out
It was words of POW, KABOOM and CRASH
But you were Batman and it was business as usual in justice in Gotham City
Yet to the villains no one had a pity
The RIDDLER always had a plot
The JOKER tried to tie you in a knot
The MADHATTER in look into my hat
MR. FREEZE with his chilling detail
But throughout was always a villain fail
Justice always triumphant and the villains went to jail
Who could forget a voice, “Will Batman and Robin make it through their fate, but is too late. Be sure to find out Same Bat station and Channel
Commissioner Gordon and Chief O’hara all sadden in having a loss
But Batman and Robin you a team being a force
You will be missed in your acting ability ways
Yet the remembrance is here to stay
Acceleration in my mind being the Batmobile and Bat Cycle
Crime Fighting TV will never be the same
However, the thought of TV Batman and Robin will continue to remain
Your mission going forward in Heaven will be to recruit faithful Souls
But it will be the face of Adam West that will be the behold
Commissioner Gordon says, “Thanks for being Gotham City’s Protector and always being on call”
Adam West response is “To My Fans, Thank You All”.

I am a nerd
Who finds pleasure in books of fiction
Of life in fiction
Of pain from fiction
A fragment of my being
I am nothing without a book

I am a nerd
Who finds pleasure in comic books
Whose mind comes alive in their pages
Of heroes and their sidekicks
Of villains and their lovely vile
I am nothing without a book

I am a nerd
Who finds pleasure in rock as a religion
It's transitions and it's leads
Metal as a denomination
So electric; I come
Alive over and again
I am nothing without my music

I am a nerd
Who finds pleasure in Mangas
Their Naive heroes and their half clad villains
Their pervasions and their strengths
Their one-on-one battles and defeats
Their awesome storytelling and the twists
I am nothing without my Manga

I am a nerd
Who finds pleasure in video games
The difficulty levels and their walkthroughs
The vibrations and the boss fights
The sleepless nights and the highs
The shouts of victory and the barrage of curses
I am nothing without my Video games

I am a nerd
Who finds pleasure in surfing
The endless chasm of the world wide
Web, of knowledge and terrifying ignorance
Of horrors and uplifting humor
From one end to the never ending
I am nothing without the Internet

I am proud to be all of these and more

There are 10 kinds of people in this world,
and binary accounts for them all.

They're happy and sad.
They're ones and zeros.
Villains and heroes.
Villains, yet not all bad.
Despite everything life decides to hurl;
Despite every brick ball of fear
Through the stained glass windows of their minds,
Through it all, they survive.
They're angry and glad.
They're happy and sad.

And in their duality, they're still smiling there
at your sharp hasty words
at your venomous hurt
that you wish so desperately they, too, shared.
Love thy enemy.

Special thanks to Kelley A Vinal for the binary inspiration. You can read her poetry here: http://hellopoetry.com/kelley-a-vinal/

It's pretty solid.

Edit: Holy Daily, Batman! Wow, I'm so honored. Glad you all like it so much! :D

Honey West being a TV series show
A fast moving Avenger always on the go
Honey West weapons being her hands
One Karate chop always at her demand
The villains were something to explore
There was always a plot to throw Honey West off
However careful theory was her mind in of
Battle cry of the villains when Honey West gave a good chop
Her technique and skill was something that just wouldn’t stop
Honey West hands were a systematic approach
When she moved them they were no joke
Honey West hands were used at every chance
It was the villains she was going to advance
Honey West always proved to villains they will no longer prance
It will be justice that will have its stance.
AVENGER WOMAN IN BLACK WITH A MIGHTY CHOP

If we were villains
the world would topple
in tears embellished
with contrite sorrows

drowning the ruins
six fathoms under
while life disperses
above dim waters

the moon remembers
how the light lingered
before the sun left
spread of the heavens

now the staid headstones
markers of memory
stand in the darkness
aside calm marshes

perhaps gods forget
wrongs done in anger
when outcomes linger
past best intentions

the bones are scattered
in perfect hindsight
remind all of outcomes
if we were villains.

The poem “If We Were Villains” was inspired by the title of the novel, written by M. L. Rio, by the same name.   Sometimes the world is left that much worse because of actions not intended to have the outcome experienced.
Secret May 2019
The main character
She's so lovable and nice
Nobody hates her
except for the villains
Those mean
little
villains.
Those villains that she destroys each episode
Those villains she made everyone hate
Those villains that nobody likes
Well, some people do.
The people that 'look into things'
Those **** people
They say she's abusing her power
That she's using people for her own wants
That she only cares about reputation
They're wrong.
They just don't understand her!
She had such a bad past.
Everyone hated her, but she proved people wrong!
Anything bad she's ever done is because of those people
Those people that hated her.
Those people that watched her suffer.
Her actions are always justified.
She's the main the character,
and everyone loves the main character.
Been wanting to do something like this for some time! I'm glad with how it turned out :D

Twas the night before
Hawaii islands on the radar
A monster opened the door
It shoulders a storied scar

Of the last time, it hit its mark
Rearing its ugly head, ahead of pace
As the eye looms '82 in the dark
Wrinkles on this  eve sit sadly in boldface

Kauai sat once in unnatured infamy
It sunny shores hit once by the beast
Clouds of villains played in that symphony
With the next generation looking to feast

As the residence brace for the worst
Of the monster stepping on its paradise
With category four winds and cloudburst
The hope is that the monster plays nice

With the Aloha Spirit preserved with leis
In place of bold headlines of strung wrath
Hawaii can pray rays of light in the coming days
Willing the monster to take a different path

This honor catches me by surprise, so much that I can't wait for the next dawn, sunrise, and all the days that follow. Thank you. Thank you for all the well wishes and support. It means looking at the sunrise, a new dawn, with newfound exuberance and eagerness.

To my friends and relatives on Oahu, I pray. Update-monster played nice. Outstanding was its piano play. Storm went from a 5,4,3,2,1 ... miss. With the Aloha Spirit preserved with leis
In place of bold headlines of strung wrath. Thank you.

For years I tried to play the hero
always did my very best
gave everything my all
worked hard at every test
always wanted to save the world
but couldn't even save myself
now I'm my own villain
hero dreams on a shelf
I didn't save a single person
and now my dream is gone
wish I could've helped the world
but I did not have the brawn
maybe I'll be my own hero
though I'm not too sure
promise I will try my best
but the future is obscure

When I arrive would you take care of me?
We empty emotions on the count of three.
Visions of black and white, do you bleed?

The hotness of this earth,
holes in the body, do you still hurt?
A mutual destruction on my part;
rewind time for the birth

You were sent to watch over me,
an empty shell of a man with destiny.
When we get there what will we see?
"Villains of circumstance we will be,
Can you handle it?"

Little monster, are you learning?
The art of squirming.

Guardians of light and sound,
save me now or we're all going down.
Sinners, not winners, are in the round
Place me in your arms and protect me now.
Hold me like no one is around.
I should come back to this
I have killed them all
Not a hero to be seen
I have drained the hope
Made this world unclean

I am the alpha, the omega
The god they never knew
I am the reason for which
The sun shines through

I have locked her up
In a cage of ice
I will have her
When the time is right.

I will have peace now
No more free will
No more wars
No more ill

No one will be lost
All will live
No need for a chance
For none I will give

The dawn is coming
Let me get my cape
For they will see me in the morning
And they will gape

At my form so glorious
At my will so strong
For I have finally won
This war after long

Bear with me oh reader
For I will have you too
For I am good now
And I will see it through

What is that light
How dare it cross my way
How does it not know
The new masters face.

Wait what is this
There is still hope.
A villains perspective
1SP Mar 2014
Is it a bird?
Or is it a plane?

It's… It's… It's…

It's no limit to your dreams,
What you so desire to aspire to be,
All you must do as hard as it seems
Is believe that you can succeed;
Others may try to hinder you stride,
Some will so much as doubt you indeed,
But you cannot surrender to kryptonite,
Because I see the superwoman you are to me.

Dignified, poised, strong,
A superwoman you are to see;
Confident, able, young,
The superwoman you are to me;
What a superwoman, to the rescue
Even for villains whose ridicules tested you,
They cannot outwit the superwoman..
You are to me.

You have been mistreated,
By slander, blackmail, and betrayal;
Somehow you still stand undefeated,
No one has seized you to fail;
You are a heroine, a matriarch
A woman of admiration in any degree;
Willing to give and help from your heart,
And that's the superwoman you are to me.

Dignified, poised, strong,
A superwoman you are to see;
Confident, able, young,
The superwoman you are to me;
What a superwoman, to the rescue
Even for villains whose ridicules tested you,
They cannot outwit the superwoman..
You are to me.

It's Superwoman!!!
God has enabled you to live long
Up to the rare  age of ninety years
Not as a blessing to you whatsoever
But as a curse of Knowledge,
For you to realize the evils you did
During your reign of terror,
when you were Kenya's  president .

You misruled Kenya for twenty four years
Clinging to power like **** on lion *****,
You plunged the country into abyss of poverty,
You established torture chambers
And gave priority to prisons,
Special branch police and detention  camps,
You planted tribalism with passion
Favouring your Kalenjin tribes,
Inspiring them with the spirit of sadism,
That fuelled assassination and public fear,
Daniel Moi your ninety years are birthdays,
Of nothing else but tyranny and dictatorship.

You walked with government money in your bag,
You used tax payers money to cement corruption
You often behaved as a duffer, but a rigging expert,
You suffocated all government organs,
For you to remain a strong man of power
Your  horsemen were villains of villains,
To make you think that one tribe is special enough,
To enjoy political favour in their maximum stupidity,
You condemned Kenya to linger amid despair and mire
With your useless Nyayo philosophy,
That was self-suspicious and derisive to reason,
Making Universities submissive to KANU,
Your Political part that was a mere terror wing,
Chaired by Ezekiel Barangetuny the illiterate,
Who called Karl Marx as Karo Mariko,
He thought that presidential dialogue is food,
Expensive food sold by Kikuyus in Nairobi Hotel,
Your chief aim was to suffocate education,
Campaigning for villages polytechnics,
While you are  a heavyweight torturer of Dons
You; Moi , your name is a curse and public earache.

Daniel Branch of Warwick bemoans you dearly,
in his oeuvre of Hope and Despair for Kenyan people,
He often cites;You shot Robert Ouko the first Bullet,
In the head before you plugged out his eyes,
You ignored his cry for forgiveness and mercy,
Then you dumped his cadaver in the Ahero forest,
For it to be eaten by hyenas, black ants and scorpions

It is epical knowledge  among Kenyans,
But at most the people of Trans Nzoia and Bungoma
That when Masinde Muliro died in the plane
The King's Horseman was around, in the plane
Wielding ammonium gun in his pocket.

Charles Rubia and Matiba Kenneth were unlucky,
They both went mad while in the torture chamber,
Koigi wa Wamwere aged while in Kamiti  prison,
Raila Odinga lost his daer testicles while detained,
You punctured his left eye, he always mobs dears,
Every minute and second, and i am sure you Moi
You can't regret and feel for him, if he was your son?
Your horsemen thoroughly flogged Wangare Mathai
the Nobel Laureate,she won the Prize for nothing,
Other than her successful staving of  the pains
From the ferocious whips by your Kalenjin police,
You jailed and jailed people in Kamiti and Manyan
As if your were possessed by the devil of imprisoning
Or may  be you were possessed, were you ?

You fuelled the tribal clashes in Molo,
You motivated Sabaoits to **** the Bukusu,
You chased teachers of Kisii,Luhyia and Luo tribes
From your village of Baringo,where people starve
for no other reason that was genuine and patriotic
But out of your urge of ethnic sadism.

you made us to sing lame poems;
Jogoo !  Nyayo!Jogoo !  Nyayo!
Jogoo !  Nyayo!Jogoo !  Nyayo!
Jogoo !  Nyayo!Jogoo !  Nyayo!
think about , what were we saying?

You owe apology to the people of Kenya
and all others in the diaspora,
For  the stark misrule and reign of tyranny
You perpetrated on them for two decades,
Your ninety years of life are not a blessing,
But God's timing for you to contrite
To repent and repent  your heinous sins,
I personally wish you not  happy birth day
But humanity wants you  to apologize ,
To those  unhappy families and communities
That you detained and killed their kins.
Advise to Daniel Moi on his 90th birth day

children need villains -
as much as adults require heroes.
that doesn't exactly mean
that there's an inherent malign
to treat children as
a care for: investment...
    it's just the benign
                       ambivalence
of someone sacrifice themselves
to save someone from a passing train
who's racked themselves on the train-tracks...
so what better form of acting,
what better form of the thespian
is not in pretending to be evil?
                     i watched two mothers
and a girl walk the street today...
when i walked past the baby girl and looked
her in the eyes... she stopped walking...
and began clinging to her mother's
leg...
               it's nothing as such, but when
you're observant of cats at the barometer to
anything autistic... a baby girl looks you straight
in the eye, and she's horrified to walk a step further
and clings to her mother's leg.
   the beard? the body? what? what?!
cars need petrol... children need villains...
     i'm sure: the ones that are faked
are scarier than the real ones: because they
have a dimension that allows them to
become myths, i.e. disperse and acknowledge
a greater number of the phobia-riddled...
     but at the same time:
adults need happenstance heroes...
       nothing achilles-like to be frank...
something exemplar in the realm of the mundane...
               adults need something to match
up to the child's need for a villain...
   point is: when the child eats away at what
provoked fears in him to begin with:
   and starts becoming a villain, himself;
   that's just called a point of realisation:
realisation furthered as: continuum.

BEFORE

Before we even started dating
I was very interested in you
I thought
"She's really unique
And cool
And into books
And smart

And cute."
Every move you made
The ease with which you made friends
And of course
How your nose was always in a book.
That interested me a lot
And I still love that
Even when I know
So much more about you.
My observations from outside.

2.  AS I WRITE

I told you I was doing something
For our six months.
It's nothing spectacular
Nothing expensive
Just time
And my thoughts
My love
I hope to put it into these words which I
Preserve for you
Uniquely mine
For uniquely you
And you alone.

3. SUSPENSE

I just told you today
And you ask for my hint
It was in one of my other poems
You read it
But didn't catch it.
It would be obvious if you did see
What the hint is.
And no, these aren't all going to be
Like this
Just basically a diary
No
They will be better.

4. LIST

I like a lot about you love
I even listed some things off to you recently.
Would you like a list?

The cute faces you constantly make
The way you fall asleep in my arms
The way you make my heart skip when you lean on me
The way your mouth moves when we kiss
Your scent that hangs on my clothes after we hang out
The way you bury your face in my chest when falling asleep
The texture of you hair
The way your face lights up when you're truly happy
The way your cheeks are fun to play with
The perfect shape of your body
Your inability to be mad at me
Your anger at people being self-destructive
Your rambles on things that you feel passionate about
Your sheer uniqueness
Your amazing beauty
The way you feel embarassed when you blush
Your quiet whimpers when I whisper that I love you in your sleep
The way you always tell someone when you're annoyed
Your ability to easily make friends
Your addiction to reading
Your crazy music taste
Your refusal to tell me games you play
Your amazing poetry
Your unique way of dressing
Your uncanny ability to look beautiful and **** in anything

And yes, there's thousands more.
But that's enough for now.

5. NIGHT

You know
I think of you always
During class
During sports
During robotics
During my dreams.
You're so great
You just sneak into my mind
And take all control from me.
I'm stuck thinking about you for awhile.
Not that I really mind.

6. SUDDENLY FRAGILE

I've known you for awhile
And now you're fragile
You seemed strong
Never once wrong
And I'm glad I grew close to you
So that I can be here for you
When you need someone
And I always want to be that someone.

7. FIVE

Today
Of all days
I'm sick.
What I wouldn't give
To kiss you once
On the cheek
Or give you a hug
Quickly
Fleetingly
I want to tell you I love you in person
But I cannot
Not today
But I will.

8. FREAKY

Do you know
How crazy it makes me feel
To just think of you?

9. ALONE

I am alone
With nothing but
My thoughts

Of you.
Obviously.

10. PICTURES

I look at the wall
The ceiling
Blank
Naked, but for some scratches
And I wish it was pictures of you
In plain sight
Wherever I look.

11. TRUE HAPPINESS

I know life is hitting you right now
Hitting you pretty hard
Being forced into therapy you don't want
Medicine that hurts your focus
And now it's ******* up your grades
Which in turn make your parents mad at you
And you seem to be despairing
And all I want to do
Is cheer you up
Make you smile
Forget your worries for just a little while.
I do what I can
But I don't think it's
Enough.
But I will keep trying
Every time I talk to you
Text you
Hug you
I hope I can bring you a little closer
To that honest smile.

12. YOU WORRY

You said it's been bothering you
You say I don't have to stay with you
Because I feel obligated
Because of your mental state.
Well
I'm glad you said it
Got it off your chest
But I would never stay because of pity
Because of guilt
No
I stay because of you.
The you-ness of you
You're just so startlingly amazing
Such a stark contrast to other interests I've had
And I love it.
And I love you.
I'm glad I could at least momentarily
Hopefully stop your worrying.

13. BRILLIANT AND BEAUTIFUL

When I think of you
I imagine gazing into your eyes
As I have done so many times
Those infinite, piercing
Beautiful eyes.
Brilliant, shining, beautiful
Just like you.
So wonderful
Calming
I dream of watching your eyes fall asleep
And waking to the very same pair
Happy and alive
Yet so real
Your beauty
And your realness.
Perfection.
I love you
I could say it a thousand timees
And mean it more every
Single
Time.

14. AGONIZING

It hurts me so much
To see you in pain
To know you're hurting.

You're trying to be more
Independant
You say
Well
Sure, be independant
But I want you to run to me
Cry on my shoulder
Because you aren't alone
And I don't want you to prepare for
A time when you could be alone.
Because I plan on staying within reach.

15. QUESTIONS

You lately have seemed
Scared
Afraid that I am staying with you for some
Pity
That I may feel.
Well, let me tell you
That is so wrong.
I feel bad for you
But that is different.
Because I could never date you through pity
I would feel like I was
Taking advantage of you
So don't worry.

16. SO MUCH I COULD NEVER SAY

I love you so
I can not describe it
The feeling
The exhilaration
From catching a glimpse of you in the hallway
I just feel the need to smile.

17. SMILE-INDUCING

Have I ever told you
That everytime you hug me from behind
I just feel uncontrollably joyful?
And when you refuse to let go
I find it cute
And I just want to stay like that

18. GOOD MORNING

A dream we both have
I want so very badly
To fall asleep holding you close
Singing to you the lullaby of my beating heart
Listening to your breath slow and relax
The perfect weight of your body against my own
And for you to be the last thing I see before I close my eyes
And the first thing I see when awakened
To make fun of your bedhead as the day's first light
Illuminates the room gently
To tell you how I love you
Before you can think anything else
Now only a dream
Someday it will happen.

19. TO RUN AWAY

I wannt to forever hold you
To hide away where nobody can find us
No schedules to disturb us
No cold to riddle our skin with
Goose-bumps
No agony tearing at our hearts
No painful reminders of the past
As the days blur into weeks
Into months
To hold you forever
In solitude.

20. WORRY

Why, love, are you so worried as of late
That you have changed?
I love every version of you
And I'm continually amazed at your ability
To cope
To prevail
But you are not strong enough alone my love.

21. LASTING

I have a feeling
That we will last
Overcome the odds
For a relationship that will endure
Past school
Past our new experiences
Past our differences
And bring us ever closer
More in love
As I feel myself falling for you more everyday

22. MARVELOUS

I never feel quite as amazing
As when I have you laying on my chest
Relaxed and falling asleep
With a blanket
A movie
Relaxation
No upcoming deadlines
Nothing else matters
Just the warmth of you relaxing on me
And my feeling of content.

23. DISCUSS

I love that we can discuss
Our different
Yet similar
Religions.
Yours as yet unnamed
Mine becoming again pure
And we can grow from this
And we become stronger.
And if we disagree about something
We can have a discussion about it
Though I keep my mouth shut
If I have the potential to start an argument
And we stay civil

24. LIST

One of your guesses as to
What I was doing when I hinted about this
A list.
Alright, you inspired me.
Words to describe you.
Beautiful
Intelligent
Different
Crazy
Startling
Lovely
Cute
Modest
Mesmerizing
Relatable
Foreign
Sad
Lost
Stubborn
Sensitive
And lastly for now
Theloveofmylife

25. TERRIFIED

Having you in my life is
Terrifying.
I worry so much
About your well being.
I wish I could be your knight in shining armor
But I just
Can't.
Society doesn't leave room for heroes.
It only attempts to create villains.
But you and I
We can resist it
Because society ***** anyway
And we're invincible.

26. DROWSY

When I fall asleep
The last thing on my mind is you.
And it's not just a thought that pops in then.
It starts when I am drowsy
And on the edge of sleep.
I imagine you snuggling close
Burying your face in my chest
Inhaling deeply and
Relaxing.

27. COMFORTABLE

I am glad that you can
Be relaxed enough around me
To fall asleep randomly.
And I love how, even in your sleep, you
Snuggle close
Twitch your hand three times
And whimper whenever I whisper into your ear
"I love you"

28. EXCITED

I love being with you
I love holding you close
Your breathe in my ears
The pounding of your heart
Speeding up when we kiss
Your happy sighs
Pulling me closer
Warming me in this new coming chill.

29.  HEAT

You are warm
You are hot
You keep the chill away
Heck, we could be in the snow without any significant
Warm clothing
And as long as I could hold you close
I could remain there forever.

30. PERFECT LOVE

You are my perfect love
The one for me
The two of us
Can do anything
Beat any odds stacked against us.
Overcome any hardship.
Just wait until we can escape to our life
We can win this race love
Destroy anyone who seeks to foil us
Or just ignore them
They aren't worth our notice
If they try to bring us down.

31. LIGHT

I look into your eyes today
And they are beautiful
As they always have been
I can lose myself in your eyes
The sight behind them
The intelligence
And so much more.
You're startlingly great
And I can't help but want to be around you.
Wonder were in the days of King David,
He wondered a man with a maiden,
A ship in the fleet,
And the eagle in the sky,
But another wonder persists,
Beyond king David to my time,
This is a man on libido,
With ***** ***** at joint thighs,
What’s wrong with a man?
When his ***** is *****,
Whether an engineer or a duffer,
A genius or a stooge,
When ***** is is at noon
Where are the brains?
Why always the brawn,

When you ***** that short ****,
Walking out of your normal way,
Disappearing into the back street,
To some nondescript corridors,
Your hunger for misfortune gets saluted,
By the street patrons in weird corridors,
A gifted *******, brown in complexion,
Her back glorified with man-made buttocks,
Erasing from your eyes her age,
Your mothers age minus white hair,
Then you slavishly bargain not to win,
Now a dizzied creature of fetish of ***,
Your ***** wildly ***** like pagoda apex
No, herself very calm on melancholy of ***,
Shrewdly she accepts to give you a wonderful ****,
At a minuscule fee to your senses; two hundred shillings

You coffle up to the ****** tether,
In senseless dance to the turbulent tune
A tintinnabulation in your ears
Impeachable tyranny of the *****,
You go into a room with her,
A workshop of ******* and *******,
You can call it a brothel,
But I and Marx we call it bagno,
God prevails and she throws a ****** at you
Pulling away her leopard stripped *******,
Letting you see eagle tattoo of on white thighs,
Confused electricity drips in your head,
Then you become a beggar of the year,
Effusively begging for live *** with
Without ****** use lest you zest not,
Lest you don’t harvest maximally,
With your dinosaur’s testicles,
She cunningly accepts your request,
In her full knowledge of your kamikaze,
Villains commit when dying for no course,
She gives it an OK, but at a small fee
You go on to pay as if possessed,
By the devil of paying for nonsense,
And then you **** her ******* live,
Before gracing your joy with live ****,
She feels nothing in entire of her body,
For her vaginal purse is spacious,
Like the side pockets of your trouser,
You achieve early ****** to *******,
She moans lightly like a teased Carmel,
She pushes you away with a sober vim,
You collapse aside in   a dull thud
Like a dead bird from ruffian roof,
Your ***** now flappy
Not reflecting a shuttle in crypt,
In volcanacity of the past minute,
Then you look at her with bent eyes,
You see her sporadic white hairs,
On forehead and between her thighs,
She is looking stupid but not foolish,
She breaks into fits of wild coughing,
Accidentally dropping *** palliative drugs,
The horrendous ARV’s
You now hang around there agape
Niggardly chewing full size of misfortune,
In your voracious mandibles,

VII

      Alice the female, has a door-to-door friend
                                                              over the sea
of the cathedral's ceiling               who died of disemboweled
pulchritude             at the mutilated nuclear other-place.
                     Her friend was a synthesized example
                     of staged catastrophes. Her friend is her, silver-eyed
                                                                                                  Alice.

                                 She performs herself and herself
                                 but they are played by polished, scored poets.

Everyone of them incorporates the events
                                 of a dancing gunshot. Everything rests
                                                            at an intermission

               but after fifty minutes of pondering,
          the lost audience remembers
         her name is Alice.
                   So it comes back on with a shower of sweat
                  and this clear
                                  substance
                                                called
                                                       patience.
       This composing, peering vulnerability
                        psychologically destroys the flux tension
              like analog genocidal dictators.
                                   Ultimately this is dream liquor

     commentating war to the war tree
      using trauma and chairs as humor.

VIII

               Patience on the water level lives translucent
                                            on networks that brand flesh
                                            with displaced identity.
Alice convinces us all that pickled ***
                                                                            takes eight years
                     to ****** and we accuse it
                                         of being fake. Afterwards, her character dies
in confident silence.

IX

     Not majestic, but she does cough
                  to mock the earth.
        The seeds of Alice are ripe,
                        harvested early, and now her children come out and dine
        like speaking tongues on gibberish.
                          The room is fat with hair

and kindness. Feeble, mundane hands chew on each other,
                                                         feet stand proud.
We even call her Alice or "the beautiful *******,
                                             a black cloud feasting
                                             in orange."
                       Everyone feasts on the nectar
                                                         she has, but never the rye
which makes her round. Juice is squeaking and her children laugh
                         as in competition.

     It's a distinguishable game as the mixed
                                                                 couple up front
              begin to play whistles as
                                         everyone eats
                   the pride of the silver-eyed Alice's children.

X

                                                 The children's souls
                                                       bow and say
                                           "Thank you for barely growing."
                                                   and dissipate after five minutes.

          "Curiouser                                                                         and
           Curiouser"                                                                          they
           say                                                                                      as
           they                                                                                    leave
           this                                                                                      homage.
                  The decimal backbone
                     of each of sweet Alice's
                                   blonde strands

XI Epilogue*

  The day crawls away
                   a vigilant pest
     of the nocturnal project
                   --suns beam down still, like
                  stomachs of grinning felines
                           at Valentine's day.

toxic-dyed fingers
                        soldered
to bodies pittering across rainy streets

--legionnaires with hearts on stones
                         we are waiting for her orders,

     thistled-teeth clench,
                                         but did she
                                          actually
                                          ever come?
We were two little children
with the sun on our skin,
playing naked in the water,
innocent of sin.

Acting out our stories,
our games were all in fun,
playing naked in the water
by the seashore in the sun.

We played at being heroes,
villains, crooks and thieves,
Peter Pan and Tinkerbell,
pirates on the seas!

Suddenly I'm longing
to find you once again,
to see if you remember.
Do you remember when?

Our eyes danced together,
how imaginations flew!
I've never been so happy
as when I played with you.

We were two little children
with the sun on our skin,
playing naked in the water,
innocent of sin.

He tied his love to the railroad
Tracks and the
Fears that were part of
A matched set
Tied them down good
And left them screaming
Obscenities

The Baltimore and
Ohio derailed that day as he
Threw away the towel that
Read "Hers" while "His"
Hung there alone and
Uncomplicated

Like the black and white
Silent movie life he had fabricated
He poured a single scotch and
Soda and thought of the children
He'd never have to have
Heard the gospel-flavored whistle of the train
And his salvation
On the railroad tracks
~~~                                              The thirteenth day at Kurukshetra
                                                        verily an unfortunate day
                                                      for this is the day a hero falls
                                               the likes of which were never seen again
there he stands on his chariot                                                                    but his face is clouded with worry
his armour shooting arrows of  light                                                                 mind disturbed by confusion
truly he looks like the son                                                                           a David among Goliaths he stands
of the king of the night                                                                a mammoth task on his youthful shoulders
                                                his uncle, the king must be protected
                                                             his father is away
                                             the enemy has planned a tricky strategy
                                   a war formation-which only he knows how to break
                                          The Chakravyuha or Padmavyuha as it is called
                                            in the shape of a circular lotus it is arranged
                                                 a deadly trap like a venus fly-catcher
                                                  death is certain for those who enter
“I know how to enter, he laments                                                                but my lovely mother fell asleep
but of how to escape it  I am unaware                                                      uninterested in the skills of warfare
my father taught it to my mother                                                                        so I learnt only how to enter
when I was in her womb                                                    and of knowledge of the exit I was deprived”
                                                  “Go forth bravely”, his uncle says,
                                                          we’ll follow you closely
                                                       no one can harm even a hair
                                                    on your head while we are there
                                                            and so Abhimanyu enters
                                                              a hero-true to his name
                                                             with courage in his heart
                                                         and the Lord’s name on his lips
he prays, ‘let me make my father proud today”                                              so rapidly do his arrows fly
like a lion he is fierce, like an eagle swift                                              that they remain unseen to the eye
ten thousand soldiers fall                                                                                       only their stabbing tip is felt
under his wrathful gaze                                                                          before the receivers keel over and die
                                                                the brave warrior forges on
                                                                  unaware of the goings on
                                                        his uncles have been trapped behind
                                                            he’s alone behind the enemy line
                                                                 when he realizes the danger
                                                                            its far too late
                                                            a true warrior does not his fate berate
                                                                  bravely onwards he wanders
finding chinks in the enemy’s armour                                                         but treachery raises its ugly head
he is Yama himself incarnate                                                                                       alone he battles a crowd
into every heart he strikes a mindless fear                           Karna, Drona, Vrshasena, Salya, Durmashana
claiming lives as he plans an escape                        Duryodhana, Dussasana, Lakshmana, Aswathhaman
                                                           and Kritavarman all surround
                                                        scavengers against this lonely lion
                                                         Karna does his bowstrings break
                                                     and Kritavarman leaves him chariotless
                                                               multiple arrows upon him rain
                                                                he is now grievously wounded
                                                                   yet unnerved and undaunted
                                                             he rises with sword and shield in hand
he challenges his attackers thus,                                                          come one by one and I shall be glad
“O mighty warriors, this cowardly act                                                                     to give you a good fight
does not your stature befit, the laws of war                                        and in this fair combat befitting kings
do not prescribe for many to stand against one                                                        may the best man win”
                                                             but his plea for fairness went unheard
                                                   Karna breaks his shield and Drona cuts his sword
                                                                 unarmed and bleeding he employs
                                                                his chariot wheel as a final defense
                                                                     but corruption is a cruel master
                                                                  that ruled the minds of his attackers
                                                                              together in all injustice
                                                            they smash  the chariot wheel to smithereens
they laugh their wicked laughs                                                                   with deceitful swords he is felled
and rejoice at Abhimanyu’s helplessness                                                       but even in death he is dignified
to his honour and their ignominy                                              his only regret is that he shall not live to see
with ruthlessness they strike                                                                          his queen, Uttara and his child
                                                             but as he thinks of his father
                                                              his heart is filled with pride
                                                     “look father”, he screams to the skies
                                                        “your son has died a hero’s death”
                                       “against many Maharathis  he has stood his ground
                                               and fulfilled his dharma - he hopes you are proud
                                                          his last wish is that you should avenge
                                                   the treason that has driven him to this end”
with these last words                                                                              poor Abhimanyu - his words echoed
he leaves this world                                                                                          filling the battlefield with dread
the villains around him dance                                                                    his uncles hear his bellowing roars
in a shameful victory celebration                                                            and know that their beloved is dead
                                                       with their mind-numbing sorrow
                                                         comes their unquenchable fear
                                                       how will they let their brother know
                                                          that he must light his son’s pyre
                                                           with bloodshot eyes they swear
                                                       that his noble death will be avenged
                                                         and then they fall deeper in sorrow
                                                          as the sun sets upon their beloved
his blood mixes with the earth                                                                          his death shall be a reminder
as the Gods rain praises above him                                                             that honour comes not with age
“here lies a true champion                                                     but by one’s actions is one’s worth determined
unbeaten and courageous                                                                  ascend Abhimanyu to the heavens!”
                                                    The thirteenth day at Kurukshetra
In the Indian epic Mahabharata, Abhimanyu is the son of the Pandava Arjuna and Subhadra the sister of Lord Krishna. He is thus the nephew of the other four Pandava brothers. Since Karna is also a son of Kunti, he also was a nephew to Karna, one of his murderers. Though Abhimanyu and the other Pandavas were unaware of this fact, Karna was cognizant of the relationship, which is what makes the killing of Abhimanyu a particularly heinous crime.
He is husband to the Matsya kingdom's princess, Uttarā, who was pregnant with his child Parikshikt at the time of his death.
Abhimanyu is also said to be an incarnation of Varchas, the son of the Moon God.
The Mahabharata records that Karna was instrumental in the killing of Abhimanyu. Karna asks Drona how Abhimanyu can be killed to which Drona replies : "Abhimanyu is young, his prowess is great. His coat of mail is impenetrable. This one's father had been taught by me the method of wearing defensive armour. This subjugator of hostile towns assuredly knoweth the entire science (of wearing armour). With shafts well shot, you can, however, cut off his bow, bow-string, the reins of his steeds, the steeds themselves, and two Parshni charioteers. O mighty bowman, O son of Radha, if competent, do this. Making him turn back from the fight (by this means), strike him then. With his bow in hand he is incapable of being vanquished by the very gods and the Asuras together. If you wish, deprive him of his car, and divest him of his bow".
Abhimanyu was 16 years old at the time of his death. The name Abhimanyu is a Sanskrit word meaning "heroic".
She was the villain.
She could feel it
In her heart—
Yet there was nothing,
Not a “sorry”
That could salvage
What she had done.
We are all heroes
And villains in
One and another’s
Lives—
but she still wished
she could be
     only the light
I never meant to be the villain in your story.
I love villains in fiction
The ones that captivate you
From the moment they strut onto the scene
Who drives the plot better than the hero
The type of villain that can turn the story on its head
And shamelessly hurl it into chaos
Villains who are smarter deadlier yet somehow
More charming than the main character
Making you feel guilty for loving them
Their electricity surges through you
Their presence echoes long after the story has left them
Searing your memory and leaving you begging for their return
Do you have a favorite villain?
Break me .
i dare you to try.
i want to shatter.
i want the pain.
let the sun shine no more.
let the rain pour on my wounds.
like a crumbling cookie.
pull me to pieces.
leave me.broken -unfix-able -worn-out .
because i want the taunts.
i want your words to hurt.
humiliation- disrespect me over and over.
give me something that's.
going to hurt like hell.
like a knife in my heart.
twist the knife until I cry out for more.
give me something.
that's going to make me wish.
that i wasn't alive.
try to break all my walls down .
see if you even leave a dent .
im over caring.compassion.protection .
im so over games.i want the worst you got.
don't hold back now. break me .make me stronger.
let me experience all that you've got
like a whirlwind -hurricane-tornado.
do the damage make it a hit and run if you want .
then leave me.to struggle on my own
leave me to pick my the pieces.
but make it spontaneous.
because i don't want to know its coming.
i don't want to safeguard myself .or shield my heart.
let the full impact hit me like a car.
let your words spill over me like a river.
my villains don't wear outrageous costumes & fly through the sky..
Here is a toast for valentine
Valentine in all seasons perennial
Where angst of money for love
Cradled utopian capitalism,
It is once again in the city of Omurate
In the south most parts of Ethiopia
On the borders of Kenya and Ethiopia
Where actually the river Ormo enters Lake Turkana,
There lived a pair of lovers
With overt compassion for one another
The male lover was an origin of Nyangtom,
A cattle rustling Nilotic kingdom
While the female lover was a descendant of King Solomon
The Jewish children which King Solomon aborted
Because their mother was an Ethiopian African
They now form substantial part of the Ethiopian population
Their clan is known as Amharic, they speak subverted Yiddish,
These lovers were good to one another
Sharing secrets and all other stuffs that go with love.
Both the lovers were fatherless
They had lost their fathers through early death
They only had the mothers, who were again sickly
Their mothers coughed a whole night with whoops
And when in the wee of the night, when temperatures go low
The mothers breathe with wheezing sound
Like peasant music from African violin,
They didn’t eat with good appetite
They always left irritating chunks on the plates,
But they all puked mucus from their mouths
And of course with a very sickening regularity.
The menace of sick mothers intervened with love freedom
Among the inter-compassionate lovers
They did not have time for real active love
I will not mention recurrent missing of ceremonies
Fetes that are bound to go with valentine day
The lovers were bored to their teeth
They don’t knew when gods will come to unyoke them.
Especially the male lover, was most perturbed
His mother looked sorriest
With a scrofulous look on her old aged African face
She looked like a forlorn erstwhile cattle rustler
She ever whined in pain like a trapped hyena
Her son the male lover even began apologizing
To the female lover for such environmental upsets
Hence an African proverb that;
No love is possible with impaired judgment.
One day in the wee of the night
With no electricity nor any source of light
Darkness engulfing each and every aspect of the city
Confirming the hinterland of Africa
The female lover woke up from the sleep
And she never heard the usual wheezing breathes
That her mother often made in such hours,
Feat of suspicion gripped her
She jumped out of her bed to where her mother was
On feeling her, she found her dead, cold like a black member
She was already past the rigor mortis stage of death process
African chilliness had frozen her like a poikilothermic creature.
She wept but not in the uproarious groan
In that instinctive Jewish shrewdness
She did not announce nor inform her lover of her mother’s death
She only washed and groomed the cadaver of her mother
She made a headscarf around the head of dead mother
She even placed reading glasses on her face
On her mother’s dead torso she wrapped a dress
The most expensive of all bought from Egypt,
In the same wee of the night
She carried cadaver of her mother on her shoulders
The way a poor Nigerian farmer would carry a stem of banana
And walked slowly by slowly for a distance of a hundred kilometers
Down ***** into Kenya towards the city of Todanyang in Turkana County
Todanyang was a busy city, but silent and minus people in the night
The king of this city was called Lapur the son of Turkanai
And the law that Lapur passed in this city was archaic
It was; an eye for an eye, a tooth for a tooth, a Jew for a Jew
A pokot for a pokot, a samburu for a samburu
It was simply the law with nothing else
Other than clauses of measure for measure
And clauses of *** for tat instantaneously administered,
On reaching the market she placed her mother standing
Being supported on a sign post at the bus stage
In pose similar to that of an early morning traveler,
She sat a side like a prowling spider awaiting foolish fly
They way an African ***** exposes its red ****
And when the hen comes to peck
It traps and closes the head of the hen
Deeper into its ****,
At that bus stage there was a hotel
Owned by a Rwandese refugee
From the foolish clan of the Hutu
He had ran away from the genocide
In his country, he was also the perpetrator
And thus he was a runaway from the law *** hotelier
His name was Chapuchapu, meaning the quick one,
When Chapuchapu opened the hotel for the early customers
The female lover walked into the hotel
With innocence on her face like all the Jews
She placed an order for two mugs of coffee
And two pieces of bread
When Chapuchapu had placed food on the table
The female lover shrewdly instructed Chapuchapu
To go and hold the hand of the woman standing at the sign post
To bring her into the hotel for morning tea,
Chapuchapu in his unsuspecting charisma
With a mad drive to make money that morning
He dashed out as instructed with his foolish notion
That the customer is the queen, which is not
He grapped the standing cadaver with force
On pulling her to come along
The cadaver tumbled down like a marionette
Everything falling away; headscarf and glasses
Chapuchapu was overtaken by awe
The female lover was watching
Like the big brother in the Orwellian satire, 1984.
When the cadaver of her mother fell
She came out of the hotel
Screaming like a hundred vehicles
Of St John Ambulance
And two hundred Kenyan vehicles of fire brigade
And three hundred Kenyan cash transfer vehicles,
She was accusing Chapuchapu for being careless
Careless in his work that he had killed her mother,
Swam of armed humanity in Turkana loinclothes
Began pouring in like waters of Nile into Mediterranean
Female lover improved the scale of her screaming
Chapuchapu like a heavyweight idiot was dumbfounded
Armed people came in their infinite
Finally king Lapur arrived on his royal donkey
That his foot soldiers had only rustled
From Samburu land a fortnight ago,
The presence of the king quelled the hullabaloo
The king asked to find out what had happened
Amid sops the female lover narrated how
Chapuchapu the hotelier had killed her mother
Through his careless helter skelter behaviour
The king sighed and shouted the judgment
To the mad crowd; an eye for a……….!?
The crowd responded back to the King
In a feat of amok value;
For an eye you mighty Lapur son  ofTurkanai,
The stones, kicks, jabs began rainning
In volleys on an innocent Chapuchapu
Amid shouts that **** him, he came here to **** people
The way he killed a thousand fold in Rwanda.
The sopping female lover requested the king
That his people wait a bit before they continue
Then the king waved to the people to stop
Chapuchapu was on the ground writhing in pain
When the King asked the female lover what was the concern
She requested for pay from Chapuchapu not people to **** him
Chapuchapu accepted to pay whatever the price that will be put
Female lover asked for everything in hundreds;
Carmel, money, Birr, sheep, goats, donkeys, cows
Name them all they were in hundreds
Chapuchapu and his family were saying yes to every demand
And they rushed to bring whatever was said
The payments exhausted Chapuchapu back to square zero
The female lover carried everything away
The cadaver of her mother on her shoulder
She disappeared into the forest
and buried her mother there.
When she arrived home she found the male lover
He looked at her overnight change in fortune in stupefaction
He didn’t believe his eyes, it was a dream
Sweetheart, where have you gotten all these?
Questioned the male lover
Sweetie darling there is market for dead women
At Todanyang in the Turkana County of Kenya
I killed my sickly mother and carried her cadaver
As a trade ware to Todanyang
Whatever I have that you are looking at is the proceed,
Can my mother fetch the same? Asked the male lover
Of course yes, even more
Given the Africanness of your mother
African cadavers fetch more than the Jewish ones
At Todanyang market,
The male lover was now overtaken
By strong urge for quick riches
Was not seeing it getting evening
That day for him was as long as a whole century
He was anxious and restless more tired of a sickly mother
When evening fell he was already ready with the butcherer’s tools
He didn’t have nerves to wait till the wee of the night
As early as eleven in the evening he axed his mother’s head
Into two chunks of human skull spilling the brains in stark horror
Blood streaming like a rivulet all over the house
The male lover was nonchalant to all these
He was in the full feat of determination
To **** and sell his mother to  get the proceeds
With which he could foot the bills of valentine day.
He stuffed the headless blood soaked torso
Of his mothers cadaver in the sisal bag
He threw it to his bag
And began going to Todanyang
The market for human dead bodies
He went half running and half walking
With regular whistling of his favourite poem;
Ode to my Jewish lover
He reached Todanyang in the wee of the night
No human being was in sight
All people had gone as it was late in the night
He then slept in the open with dead body of his mother
Stuffed in the sisal bag beside him
Wandering night dogs regularly disturbed him
As they came to bite at smelling curdled blood
But he always scared them away.
As per the male lover he overslept till five in the morning
But when he woke up he unhesitatingly began to shout
Advertising his ware of trade in foolish version;
Am selling, the body of my mother, I have killed,
I killed her myself, it is still fresh, come and buy,
I will give you’re a bargain price,
When the morning came
People began crowding around him
As he kept on shouting his advertisement
Also Lapur the king came
He was surprised with the situation,
He asked the male lover to confirm
Whatever he was shouting
The male lover vehemently confirmed,
Then the law of an eye for an eye
Effortlessly took its course
Lapur  ordered his people, in a glorious royal decree
To stone the male lover to death
And bury him away without ceremony
Along with his mother in the sisal bag
In the wasted cemetery of villains
The same way Pablo Neruda
Had to bury his dead dog behind the house,
On hearing the tidings
About what had befallen her lover
The female lover had to send out a long giggle
Coming deep from her heart with maximum joy
She took over the estate of the male lover
Combined with hers,
All the animals and everything she took,
She made her son the manager
The son whom she immaculately conceived
Without any nuptial experience in the usual Jewish style
And their wealth multiplied to vastness
And hence toxic valentine gave birth to capitalism
Beware the Quiet Ones.
The Quiet Ones are the Thinkers
The Quiet Ones are the Dreamers
They’re the heart seekers, thrill lovers, and love givers
They’re the heart breakers, story makers, and life changers
The best heroes, the worst villains, the most notorious saints and sinners
Their hearts and minds are largest of all (But they’ll never control them)
Beware the Quiet Ones, because it’s Always the Quiet Ones.
The Quiet Ones will always listen, even when you won’t do the same
They’ll break your comfort zone, just to make you comfortable
They’ll never ask for favors or a shoulder to cry on
But they will always be there, hanging on every word and tear
They’ll sell their souls to save yours, sacrifice their minds to break yours
They’re the strongest, and the most broken.
The Quiet Ones don’t like to harm you, because they know too well how it feels... but don’t you hurt them.
They’ll always forgive and never forget, and they know how to aim for the heart
All they know is the past, and vengeance is their greatest weapon.
That’s why it’s always the Quiet Ones.
Whether the key to your heart or your greatest fear? The Quiet Ones will find it – Beware the Quiet Ones.
The Quiet Ones are the first to stand up, and the last to point the finger
They’ll stand up for anything, because they have nothing to lose.
They are the champions of love and hate, and if you hate to love them, or love to hate them?
That was their plan all along.
Your deepest plots or darkest secrets? The Quiet Ones knew all along. They’re four steps ahead of you – Beware the Quiet Ones.
They’ll never put you down, but believe they know how, because the Quiet Ones see EVERYTHING
They know what you did, they heard what you said - they were there
Their depth knows no end, yet they’re so empty inside
Their curses bring power, their strengths bring weaknesses
They’ll control you, even when they can’t control themselves
That’s why it’s always the Quiet Ones
Beware the Quiet Ones.
I could have come Goose stepping through that door on eggshells
With an anchor in the old ways, and the wind of change in my sails.
the crux is; decide what you want foul demon,
I can shield you from the fire or burn bright to show you the way,
but I will never burn out and I will never blow away.
So go snare some other paradox boxer
or lay in the brier patch of tangle choice
you once forced into my sides.
I do not permit you to handcuff your heart to my wrists,
and the baggage? Can stay at indoors.
The persistent demand of my presence pushes me into the love affair with the lies I tell myself that make you bearable.
I make no apologies for my vacant smile,
you bought my body not my soul.
And the clocks and deadlines made me to fix a do not disturb sign on my mind.
With the ultimatums delivered to me ear-trumpeting the feelings that already echo in my diminishing proud walk,
The spine slump didn't take long to take hold.
These are not poses.
This is who I am,
or at least who I used to be,
Or at least who I should have been,
But for the game of Chinese whispers Played with champions of the rumour mill and the ghosts they've created.
Removed from the hiding places are the scars and the tumours, I've been curing them in the sun.
If you came to me looking for a hero stance and a place to live at the foot of a mountain called meekness, then I will let you down.
I was bowled over by the crud slides long ago,
And now like all great insects,
I've wriggled free of the muck,
Striving out from under
more like Frankenstein's Monster
thriving in the thunder.
And making an exit,
whether you like it or not.
— The End —
