Dark clouds 2 (haiku)
i loved to paint using your colour. i’d go day and night, from one canvas to another, using different shades of you to paint all kinds of pictures. i never lost any ideas. i never had to find inspiration. it all just comes to me whenever i look at you. one day, i woke up colour blind. and unfortunately, it’s in your colour. all the paintings, all the sketches, all the canvasses that were of your colour, plastered, hanged, and taped all over my walls doesn’t make sense anymore. it was all grey. all dull. a colour i know existed but never really tried using before. i tried searching for your colours in the things you’ve touched. the words you’ve said. i searched everywhere but whenever i do think your colour will come back, my eyes revert to reality. now you’re just a memory. your colour will only exist inside my mind. those shades i loved. the pigments i crave to achieve every time i stroke my brush. it’s all in my head now. it’s been years now. your colour isn’t as bright as i thought my memory would remind me of. i paint with a different colour now. actually, i paint with all the colours now except yours. all those nights i spent painting, it’s with every colour i come across but yours. now my wall’s full of colour again. all from different parts of me. colours i never knew existed. now, i’m happy. i’m content. i’m colourful.

colour blind
I tried to draw, But my sketches are raw I am imperfect in every way I used to be good is all I say Because then I hadn't heard of the word flaw. My mind was never worried My words never hurried To say something worth it Because my mind at that time was fit To say, my mouth cleverly flurried. But when time passes, All the green grasses Finally lose their sheen But they still try to feign That they are worth to be looked at carefully with glasses. Just like that I have changed, it's sad I have become annoying But I won't stop even if I'm knowing That you don't want to talk 'cause I'm talking bad.

Annoying [Limerick]
I was 14 when I first discovered love, Colors bloom the day when he arrived. His face was my favorite mystery to solve, Please just please don't get on my nerves. For the very first time I laid my eyes on someone, For such beauty could make you go insane. Even though he's hiding; you can see easily spot him, And I'm just someone who has always wished that you can claim. Forlorn figures painted on my face, Someone like you that can't be replaced. Even though you left with no trace, I won't forget your tight embrace. Ditching off with you when we both have a curfew, Out of nowhere sketches of you that I even drew. Even if those memories can count as few, I still love you even if you love someone new.

"I was 14"
I find myself diving inside of you where the weird dream shamans draw sketches of naked humans. And you’re a human, and we're both naked. You’re purple, you’re just the perfect shade. I place my flag inside, to abscond us away inside of a womb where our world will open to portals to all of our favorite places. A floating haven, of cashmere. Gestating where the climate is warm and damp, and coloring me dark with wine—sweet wine of lovers, penal forgotten, and fermented anew in maternal rite, because… This swarming melodic nectar that swims through my nostrils and rolls in my eyes cannot be drank casually. It’s the elixir of love. I love you, And in you, I find that I love myself. What’s more, the shamanists exclaim, “She wants to give you all of herself.” Yes, they’re right. Even what I do not love so much, I want you to have, if you’ll take it, because I have to live with it, and if you live with me, you’ll have to live with it too. And then, when you crack open your sternum to let the things in, the scribes of my life’s doing, of ancient passion proclaim! They burn their papyrus scrolls soaked in the blood that I drew from my veins to pass unto yours— and you swallow them whole like divine burritos. And then we are ready for the world to fall suddenly, if it felt so inclined. Now that our chests are pressed together, and our tongues are fused tight. We are the daughters of the prima mother. We are the goddesses of our dreams.

Floating Castle
Lisbeth stands watching The artist as he prepares To sketch. Her elder sisters Stand in shadows whispering. Her younger sister plays With her doll on the floor. Their father said to do as The artist instructed and Don’t misbehave or be rude. The artist stares hard his Dark eyes searching their Every move and expression And body gesture. The elder Girls mutter in shadows Their hands over their mouths Their blue eyes like shallow Pools. Ready? The artist Asks putting charcoal to Paper his fingers blackening. Lisbeth says just as we are? The artist nods. His grim Features express do not disturb. The youngest sister plays Ignoring the artist her eyes set On the game at hand. The girls In shadow turn their profiles Set to mystery their hands on Their abdomens like guardians Of virtue. Lisbeth wonders as She watches the artist’s stiff Moustache and beard the slow Movement of his mouth as he Mouths words and stares hard. The last artist employed some Year before younger and less Brutal in expression and manner Had drawn them each in private Rooms and set them down on couch Or bed and kept their images inside His head. He was dismissed and the Drawings destroyed and nothing said. Lisbeth had thought it just a game Something done as lover might in Private corners or lonely spots on Quiet nights. The artist sketches. His blackened fingers move and Made their mark. Their images Captured. The scene set. One sister In the shadows yawns the other Stares in still contempt. Lisbeth Poses as young girls do. Nothing To show of interest and nothing Hid no secret self no other you. That’s it the artist says we’ll begin The painting another day maybe Next week if all is well. The girls In shadow look away and resume Their secret games. Lisbeth studies The artist’s blackened fingers as He rolls the charcoal sketch and Puts away. He gazes at her standing By herself a glimpse of smile and Glimmer in her eyes like small fires. He closes the tired lids of eyes And smoulders down his old desires.

I I stole my brother’s car and drove to Phoenix in the dark. The blue-green glow of dashboard gauges, the biting scent of roadkill and desert marigolds. Tap. Tap. Tap. Insects slapping the windshield, incipient rain. Keep driving. Drive until the sun blooms. II Some days were more dire than others. CCTV footage confirms I pawned a shotgun, a Gibson guitar, and my wife’s engagement ring at the pawnshop next to Fatty’s Tattoo parlor on MLK Boulevard. The typographically accurate Declaration of Independence inscribed on my back also confirms this. III I ran the tilt-a-whirl at the Ashtabula county fair, fattening up on fried Oreos and elephant ears, twisting behind tent ***** with a one-armed contortionist with strawberry-blonde hair. IV I derailed in a dive bar. V I disappeared in a city lit by lavender streetlights, where buildings blotted out the stars and the traffic signals kept perfect time. I picked through trash bins. I paid for love with drugstore wine. VI I closed my eyes on a mountain road. The sheriff extracted me from a ****** snowbank. VII I holed up for weeks in an oceanfront motel, dazed by the roar of the breakers. Each morning I drew back the curtains and lost myself in the crisscrossing patterns of whitecaps, the synchronous flight of sanderlings above the dunes. I dreamed of dead horseshoe ***** rolling in with the tide. VIII The moon over my shoulder tightened into focus like a spotlight. One night the barking dogs undid me. I caved in to the candor of a naked mattress. I grew my beard, an insomniac in a jail cell, clinging to bars the color of a morning dove. IX I coveted the house keys of strangers. X I opened and closed many doors. I sang into the mouths of storm drains. I stepped out of many rooms only to find myself in the room I just left. Despite all my leaving, I remained.

Escape Artist Sketches

She moves those hips hypnotically As she smiles through her slender long fingers Speaking with her big beautiful onyx-black eyes Ah, Will you just look at her grace? Her saree painted rich brass With amber brown motif on the edges Heavy indian anklets adorn her ankles Her skin so golden on which sunshine sketches. Glorious, every little move she makes Flamboyant, her mehendi feet, the way they part and meet All the energy any strong man can have, Reflected in her elegant femine beauty, sincere and discreet. Like a goddess, she holds her head high And showers you with her immortal blessings When she gets down the stage with a humble smile You'd exclaim "paradise on earth" with a sigh.

The Indian Dancer
it was the Cubist who created the space and color that everywhere today assails our eyes in    uniform architecture and monotonous design; the various branches of modern art through tedious & exhaustive experiment      & research creating a massive cultural sinkhole whose banal discoveries unveil for all the sameness of form, line and color; Quote from Gorky's 'Camouflage', 1942: I like the heat; the tenderness; the edible; the lusciousness; the song of a single person in a bathtub full of water.                            I like Ucello, Grunewald, Ingres, the drawings and sketches for paintings    of Seurat and that man Pablo Picasso;                I measure all things by weight.                In text for MoMA, describing the 'Garden in Sochi' - series,                26 June 1942 I love Mougouch, Gorky's wife.                What about papa Cézanne; I like the wheat fields, the plow, the apricots, those flirts of the sun.    And bread above all. My lever is the purple; About 194 feet away from our house in Armenia on the road to the spring my father had a little garden with a few apple trees which had retired                              from giving fruit; this garden was identified as the _'Garden of Wish Fulfillment'_ often I had seen my mother and the other village women exposing their naked bosoms, taking the soft, dependable ******* in their hands & rubbing them on the rocks; above all this standing an enormous tree all bleached under the sun, rain & cold,  deprived of leaves. This was the Holy Tree [quoted in 1942] In text for MoMA, describing the 'Garden in Sochi' - series, 26 June 1942 I don't like that word 'finished'.     When something is finished, that means it's dead, doesn't it? I believe in everlastingness; I never finish a painting –   I just stop working on it for a while. I like painting because it's something I can never come to the end of; sometimes I paint a picture, then I paint it all out.    Sometimes I'm working on fifteen or twenty pictures at the same time; I do that       b/c I want to – b/c I change my    mind so often; The thing to do is      always to keep starting to paint;      never finishing the painting [quoted in 1948]

Fine arts is my major in school...I have enjoyed art, photography and of course writing ever since I was young; and I still do... I know this may sound odd but no matter the form of art; even if its just scribbled notes I keep all my rough drafts... My mom she calls me the "paparazzi" of the family...I am always snapping picture... Can you believe I have over 900  and counting; notebooks, sketchpads, and loose-leaf binders full of all my ideas, sketches and odd thoughts that may pop in my head?.. I've been collecting since I was 6 years old.... ART; any type was and still is my passion today...  I try to carry a notebook, sketchpad and my camera everywhere I go to jot down or capture the little things that come to my mind.... Sometimes my notes don't even make a bit of since but it is the creativity I put into them that makes it fun.... When ever I feel I've hit a writers or artist BLOCK I go through my notebooks.  I'm always seeing something inspiring that may take me to another world of imagination. I think I could probably write a book or two with all the thoughts I've collected.. Yep That's Me ... LadyBird

LadyBird-- Bio
the grass, leaning in the south wind , seeming               as if emeralds,   had sent tendrils up               to suckle at the yellow breast, now,   high above     inflamed....               over soft new               grass                              like               strands of green gemstone,               as delicate as humming-bird tongues               teasing nectar               from a titan,               in the sky                                        triumphant in the void,               a golden bead in the baffling blue !               cattails, curling in sway...and two brown eyes bob upon the surface                           of a myriad fertilities.               as if                         nature itself had known, one day                        a poet would come ~               to roam the rambling renascence of these remote ramparts                      in awesome humility ~ and so prepared               a path afflux                 that ambled near               and yes !               an                         anonymous nomad               with nicotine skin and a scabbard of scandalous quills               would indeed               stumble in      as if returning home               to a mansion restored to glory               and seraphic randomness....               a place               that in youth, sustained a quiet, soulful troubadour               by gospels of granite and grain,  grass finch               and faun - ennobling an oracle ... but now               enticed a scholar  from his cot               to jot ephemera               of outlasting spark               before dark-fall                        and so... there               amid all allurement   and soft machines               a word-smith gathered               poesy and prose.                            muse-driven               this one served               an invisible               sovereign                            one                 of unsurpassed virility               who charms       kaleidoscopes               with  offhand sketches                   rescued               from               a landfill                            a basket weaver,                 that unravels to               achieve pure               forms                            a wineskin was decanted in dianthus and hollies -               as ampules of anagrams               were sold unscrambled, to dyslexics               without hope                            a falcon   frolicked above the lowborn lilies...                              with eyes                 too keen               to see a               blur               as the hand               of god                            or a vole                            as a lifeline               on his               palm.

Humming-Bird Tongues, Teasing Nectar From A Titan

The poems have been gathered from different desert sketches,  focusing on his real-time life experiences ,while he was working in UAE for more than 30 years.  Williamsji, (Williams George),   former Ras Al Khaimah based Journalist and lyricist of tester-years has been nominated for a literary award for the first time for literature. The Award is being formulated by KGA  (Kallettumkara Global Association, UAE Chapter) for  outstanding contributions to literature  from the native writers  of Kallettumkara,  a village town in Trichur, Kerala in India.  The award will be presented by the KGA’s UAE Chapter on the grand occasion of their 10th anniversary, which is being scheduled to be held during September, this year, according to Mathew David, Chairman of Kallettumkara Global Association.

Softly, gently, I  sipped your red cherry-lip petals patiently, silently, I grabbed your brown nip-let buds deeply, knowingly, I drowned into your blue eye-oceans The feminine body turns to be  a dates garden amidst my own barren desert ! It’s so easy to feel so small I’m on a bus, the last one that runs on a Wednesday night, Sketching a tired face Bags under the eyes, made of black ink I’m eavesdropping on a conversation, (Does it count as eavesdropping when There are only two people speaking in an otherwise Silent bus?) My heart’s been having an existential crisis, And my stomach and chest Empty Yet heavy Someone’s hands are holding my insides And squeezing them in a fist It is exhausting It is lonely In my right ear is this beautiful song Violin and cello and A raw passion that reminds me That it’s okay To be human, and to be scared shitless I’m still listening, partly But not really It’s late I want to sleep Busses are full of zombies- Phone, earphone, unsmiling zombies And despite the Tired sketch on my lap I’m one, too The conversation slows I smile I turn and I recognize the face in front of me I’m told that this person, vaguely familiar face, whose conversation I’ve been eavesdropping on remembers one of my poems About stars And the line is on his wall A line from a poem that I wrote About stars Is on someone’s wall Even better than when Chad Oliver told me I was Quite attractive junior year of high school, And I remember writing that poem And I feel a little less useless I want to cry My body hasn’t known what to do with itself lately You see I exhausted myself in love And now that it’s gone I feel useless My heart pulls towards mediocre sketches First sips of coffee in the morning, Listening to the violin It doesn’t know what else to feel for It’s been left in this dark room Grasping for a table, **** even a stepstool, Heartbreak is exhausting Because it’s not just the heart And it doesn’t really break It just has to re-learn how to feel But I get off the bus And the night is warm, The moon is Beautiful, This white-hot luminescence Burning through the silhouettes of trees, So bright the sky is still blue 6 hours after sundown. I open my palms up to her I see the stars I open my palms up to them They guide me home

Complimenting the Stars
It’s so easy to feel so small I’m on a bus, the last one that runs on a Wednesday night, Sketching a tired face Bags under the eyes, made of black ink I’m eavesdropping on a conversation, (Does it count as eavesdropping when There are only two people speaking in an otherwise Silent bus?) My heart’s been having an existential crisis, And my stomach and chest Empty Yet heavy Someone’s hands are holding my insides And squeezing them in a fist It is exhausting It is lonely In my right ear is this beautiful song Violin and cello and A raw passion that reminds me That it’s okay To be human, and to be scared shitless I’m still listening, partly But not really It’s late I want to sleep Busses are full of zombies- Phone, earphone, unsmiling zombies And despite the Tired sketch on my lap I’m one, too The conversation slows I smile I turn and I recognize the face in front of me I’m told that this person, vaguely familiar face, whose conversation I’ve been eavesdropping on remembers one of my poems About stars And the line is on his wall A line from a poem that I wrote About stars Is on someone’s wall Even better than when Chad Oliver told me I was Quite attractive junior year of high school, And I remember writing that poem And I feel a little less useless I want to cry My body hasn’t known what to do with itself lately You see I exhausted myself in love And now that it’s gone I feel useless My heart pulls towards mediocre sketches First sips of coffee in the morning, Listening to the violin It doesn’t know what else to feel for It’s been left in this dark room Grasping for a table, **** even a stepstool, Heartbreak is exhausting Because it’s not just the heart And it doesn’t really break It just has to re-learn how to feel But I get off the bus And the night is warm, The moon is Beautiful, This white-hot luminescence Burning through the silhouettes of trees, So bright the sky is still blue 6 hours after sundown. it's too late to fret about decisions made and ties cut, past tense. it's hard to see it without the glaring minutiae of my demise. I'm scanning the walls for a change of subject- Polaroids and butterfly carcasses, city skyline sketches and old cigarette advertisements in gilt gold frames; satisfy yourself. my mind is saturated with degenerate cogitation- a stew of pantheons and painstaking nihilism. my bones are brittle and begging to break and my eyes are growing heavy, with the weight of it all.

The one with the crack along the middle, dark and so thin words could fall through like water in a colander. Under the grand chandelier, a slew of sheets spat with confident blue juice, cardboard-covered notebooks, a team of paper ***** to be tossed towards your wooden jail. Sketches of mice, polar bears, a recipe for rabbit at his right elbow, red Shakespeare and a well-read thesaurus as scruffy as recently rinsed blonde hair. You always ***** the lid on your own *** of ink, black, sleeping silver scissors near your French dictionary and shells over a plastic sunglasses case. The table in the room in the house on Tomás Ortuño, serenity bathing you, a golden spark of solitude.

Honeymoon Table
Standing resplendent in a baroque topiary, Under a florid arbour as an arched canopy, Her pulchritude in moonlight, is the plenary Picture of, the muse, the Goddess Calliope. My heart’s reminiscence of our first encounter, Like a fragrance in my mind wafts around, Whose Pareidolia in every-thing sketches her Face, to which it is entirely spellbound. Were the Fates to keep us apart, As the sculptor Pygmalion I would be. But Aphrodite won’t breathe life into my art, For not my Galatea, I love my Calliope.

Stencil Mishaps
A long time when I was ago when others knew what I knew not but now I know when the sun was just a burning place that stars itched in the night and the sketches made with lemonade which somehow came out right, where the sandwiches were filled with sand and the ***** did not have sticks and the tide marched up in two and threes and the deckchairs tricked our hands. that was the time when I was ago and the time I did not know. Age rolled in on the twelve thirty-four, the puffed out billy knocking on my door, I wish I'd worn myself real slow a long time when I was ago.

My pen weeps; *It weeps everyday, upon the rugged pages of my diary. A rainbow of tears.* The blue ink sets free *Dark shadows Looming in my soul. Deep; Amidst the hollow wasteland of my thoughts. They take me To the nooks and crevices Of my past. A yesterday, So beautiful, So far away, Yet* unreal. The red ink, *It paints; Swollen memories, That refuse to Let go of my grasp. Buried deep within Yet* alive. And Indigo; *That sketches, The abysmal dreams. That scar my mind, When the world Is snoring, In it's beauty sleep. As i slowly slip, Into a wilderness. A madness, Exhausting Yet* Infinite. My words; *Rain upon the blank pages, With a ink so melancholic, It seems like the tears, Would never dry off. Yet* they do. *Just like the colours In my life. Slipping away, into pages.* *How the cage of my body, Confines a heart;* Suffocated Starved *That sings like a canary, Woeful ballads Of freedom. That begs to stretch, It's wings. A golden thread connects us Although it seems impossible it could be that long It seems to stretch across continents It joins up the water and land that lie between us Threaded through airports and harbour walls It effortlessly knits up plains and cities A golden thread connects us Although it seems impossible it could be that strong It sketches a random pattern, known only to us Disparate, otherwise unconnected backpages Mississipi, Dallas, Mountain View, Santa Barbra Stoneybatter, Skerries, Paris, Milan A golden thread connects us Although it seems impossible to think for how long It stitches and gathers up time; so when you said "It could be a thousand years or five minutes since we met" I knew we both thought that forever is possible   That everything previous would make sense of our present A golden thread connects us Although it seems impossible to see how it could From a distance I saw you go through revolving doors The golden hair caught my eye, flowing as you walked I was a man trapped, saved only by one fact That a golden thread had snagged on my clothes

If I stole your art, could you blame me? The melodic curves or rhythmic edges, organic pastels, or heart-throbbing neon, awake as the eyes that envisioned them. My muses all run to you with eager, little fingers, pinching and plucking at your sketches, protruding tongues, and rolling sneaky, spiteful eyes in my direction, ******* on your creations with humming bird vigilance.

the grass, leaning in the south wind , seeming               as if emeralds,   had sent tendrils up               to suckle at the yellow breast, now,   high above     inflamed....               over soft new               grass                              like               strands of green gemstone,               as delicate as humming-bird tongues               teasing nectar               from a titan,               in the sky                                        triumphant in the void,               a golden bead in the baffling blue !               cattails, curling in sway...and two brown eyes bob upon the surface                           of a myriad fertilities.               as if                         nature itself had known, one day                        a poet would come ~               to roam the rambling renascence of these remote ramparts                      in awesome humility ~ and so prepared               a path afflux                 that ambled near               and yes !               an                         anonymous nomad               with nicotine skin and a scabbard of scandalous quills               would indeed               stumble in      as if returning home               to a mansion restored to glory               and seraphic randomness....               a place               that in youth, sustained a quiet, soulful troubadour               by gospels of granite and grain,  grass finch               and faun - ennobling an oracle ... but now               enticed a scholar  from his cot               to jot ephemera               of outlasting spark               before darkfall                        and so... there               amid all allurement   and soft machines               a word-smith gathered               poesy and prose.                            muse-driven               this one served               an invisible               sovereign                            one                 of unsurpassed virility               who charms       kaleidoscopes               with  offhand sketches                   rescued               from               a landfill                            a basket weaver,                 that unravels to               achieve pure               forms                            a wineskin was decanted in dianthus and hollies -               as ampules of anagrams               were sold unscrambled, to dyslexics               without hope                            a falcon   frolicked above the lowborn lilies...                              with eyes                 too keen               to see a               blur               as the hand               of god                            or a vole                            as a lifeline               on his               palm.

She dragged a steak knife   across her forehead. I said,    What the **** is your-- Hey, we all have problems. She killed herself with the memory    of a system. Everyone was begging. Beg. Beg. Beg.    Make me a star!! I want to be    Kurt Cobain!! So, they dragged blades and did smack. Tweeted lyrics and took selfies with a poster of-- But she was never alive, right? There can't be a her if there's a me. But I suppose what it condensed is bound to   shoot out into itty     bitty stars. Good ******* Christ, redeem the men and women slaughtering genitals. Grinding against   the hole in society. Are you ******* serious?   Oh my god, I will die if he takes off    his skin!! What a hunk. It was all elaborate and people were saying   "droll". That's a thing. Everyone was ******* lame. Then, the men stripped. One, Jupiter. One, Titan. And what was stopped was a hurried whisper, traveling the confines of the classroom.   And the men clothed. And the instruments   unused. Sketches ceased before creation. Paint without purpose. What a Greek tragedy. Boo-fucking-hoo. What I could only imagine a slurry of too many words aiming at my brain. The mention of us all. You don't understand. **** you. Certificate of Achievement
Stored up enough, but the energy now takes on its own purpose. If only I could draw; I'd create picture books on exactly what the ending looks like. Rough sketches left collecting for many months, before I ever once thought of putting color to them. The why, would be as mind trancing as tracing catch phrases into the many levels of dust accumulated. I'd write something so cliché, like, "With this oily finger I remove the collection of time." or, "With this flesh ensconced utensil, I cut through time." I'll think myself so clever, that I'd forget where I left off, and distract myself again with writing. A small recluse emotion of mine objects viciously, but my attention to every words incentive laced meaning would leave the visual to again rest unchanged, not colored. So's the plight of one who likes to think himself an artist. There's that scandalous narcissist again just waiting to ****** you up, reminding you just how beautiful your words are, and how small in intellect those who don't get it are. Upon that shelf your pictures sit. I can only write as a narrator, because our "philosopher," "philanthropist of word volley, our genius of word play," is once again too caught up in the descriptors to finish the real picture. Not that this idea will stand the test of time, but I do believe more writers will commit suicide, selfishly of course. Oh, the tragedy, the malady of writing so enigmatically that no one gets your "deep soul." While upon that shelf, within a fiber of your overrun writer's ego, there's a drawing begging to be finished, colored, maybe even shared. But just where does it reside? Did the alternate you place it in plain sight, simply so it wouldn't be found? If it's too early it just can't be worth it, can it? He'll have to learn to put down the pen, rid himself of the whiteout, the erasers, set up an easel, squeeze out some paint, and realize there are other mediums where there aren't mistakes, misinterpretations. Only perfect imagery through wispy wrist, sweeping arm, no words, images are now your letter blocks to construct with. Brushes, and all manners of paint your pen. Stop being so foolish "Writer man," if your ego clings too sharply to words, simply remind it, "This could be another pen name." "...I love that idea, what would it be?" "Narcissist Ugly." "So caught up, I forget I'm tethered to nothing, but doubt."
