"launder" poems
The smile of iceboxes annihilates me. Such blue currents in the veins of my loved one! I hear her great heart purr. From her lips ampersands and percent signs Exit like kisses. It is Monday in her mind: morals Launder and present themselves. What am I to make of these contradictions? I wear white cuffs, I bow. Is this love then, this red material Issuing from the steele needle that flies so blindingly? It will make little dresses and coats, It will cover a dynasty. How her body opens and shuts -- A Swiss watch, jeweled in the hinges! O heart, such disorganization! The stars are flashing like terrible numerals. ABC, her eyelids say.

From the moment of birth Our instincts of survival Bring us down to earth We dream of the fairy tale world we wish to live Hoping to be happy and learning to give When we reach our peak and buld the person we want to be Something happens to our security of survival and our friends become our rivals Rolling, Rolling, over and over again back to the bottom for another spin Our Minds unclear of the person we built to be Instincts of survival have taken over you see control is lost Survival at any cost Aimlessly we wander Hurting the ones we love Until our thoughts we launder The world again becomes our dove Repeated over and over again Each time the threat of survival blows in the wind. You see we are really just animals with the ability to think but we forget it all until our survival becomes almost extinct Its an understanding We all need to have because survival will dissapate for all mankind Unless we reach for the star we were

GREEN Chapter One As Kenya lie on the floor at Club Envy with her lungs burning and filling up with blood from being shot by an unknown person she thought her life would never end like this.  Kenya tears started to flow as she thought of the years she spent silthering with snakes.  Her job at the BNB Bank made it easy to launder money for the Black Crime Syndicate.  It was six years ago in the month of June that her life took a downward spiral. Upset at the thought of being late for work Kenya floored the gas pedal.  As she passed by the slow moving drivers weaving in and out of traffic Kenya hoped she didn't get a ticket.  I just had to stay up late watching the marathon of Funny Man.  Now I got to race the clock and pray I don't get stopped by the police thought Kenya as she sped past the other drivers.  As Kenya pulled into the BNB Bank parking lot she checked the time. "It's 7:55a.m.  I made it within five minutes." Kenya got out of her car and walked through the bank's glass doors. As time passed the employees of BNB got the bank ready for the public.  One of the three people that arrived at the time of opening was a new face.  Mmmmmm yummy thought Kenya as she walked up to the tall light skinned man. "Hello sir how may I help you?" asked Kenya as she eyed the man up and down. "My name is Malik Maxwell Williams.  I would like to open a checking and savings account" answered the tall light skinned man. "Mr. Williams please follow me to my office." As Kenya and Malik sat in Kenya's office filling out papers Kenya made it up in her mind that she would get to know Malik on a personal level.  After a days work Kenya got behind the wheel of her red BMW and started her drive home.  On her way home.  On her way home Kenya called her best friend Jewel Stonewall. "Hello Jewel how are you?" asked Kenya with one hand on the steering wheel and the other hand holding her cellphone. "I'm doing great Kenya.  What's up?" answered Jewel Stonewall as she did one of her client's hair at her salon the Golden Scissors. "Are we still on for Saturday?" With a confused look on her face Jewel asked "Is the day Friday already?" "Yeah girl what day did you think it was?" "To tell you the truth Kenya I thought the day was Thursday." "No Jewel it's Friday.  I'm glad I have a friend who owns a hair salon." "You better be thankful.  I'll talk with you later Kenya." "Ok by Jewel." Kenya Ayanna Night was a plain looking black woman in her 30's who lived a very plain life.  She always looked forward to Saturday.  A day she would spend at the Golden Scissors getting her hair done and talking with Jewel Stonewall her childhood friend. Even though the rhythm of your footsteps has left in my mind echoes resounding, I did not so much as flinch when I heard you breathing in between beats. I'm sorry for shuddering, but blood has boiled my nerves numb muddied everything I see dried out my tongue and though I launder your shirts every week, I still don't know what you smell like.

"Rough", a polite way of expressing my apprehension from the start, couldn't have known I was shaking for all the wrong (Reasons) that you left are in surplus this season; flipping vowels upside down along with my smile, and faded hues stand out the most now;  this pale blue follows me but that seems so irrelevant most days. Years pass and as my eyes grow feeble, I see more, more, more, and you are the greatest beauty I have ever seen, your fragile chest and broken bones more than memories for me to launder between the parts of my brain that still give a **** I replaced the decay of my spirit with rotted lungs, with magick however alleged, ritual a key, components fine like the filigree that lined my illusions, dramatic tone and teeth marks make me quiver, alchemical bonds between the ground and I, afire is the sky and my insides turn bone white and glowing under your moon. Stop spinning ... The feeling of overflowing consumes me, and abundance isn't always preferred, to tell you the truth I kind of miss all of my innards being contained within me. But each day I feel a little less invisible and it gets that much easier to deal with this (hole) thing, forget the flashing moments of misery  in which I could suffocate myself because it's hard to complain, I must admit I've created every crevice and ****** crack that you see on my body with my own devices, like trying to mold clay with scissorhands; This expulsion may be near unpalatable but it seems to me the only thing that helps me forget, truth is I don't know why I haven't yet; just chaotic noise like the raps that flowed from the lips of the artist that I wasn't paying any attention to at all that night at that coffee shop.

Tommorrow is on my calendar as is every day next week. I have interviews, appointments, Dinners at which I'll speak. I'll make some time for family and writing ,I suppose. I may find time to barbecue and to launder my work clothes. When evening comes I'll settle back with a glass of Pinot noir. I'm a transient immortal, I'm on loan here from a star. The future is a game; against ourselves we play We act as if we still have left forever and a day. In truth we all are transients For just this moment free. Self observing stardust poised t'wixt two eternities

Bungee jump (haiku)
I wander through my house, aimless steps, looking at all that I've accumulated and hating it, every bit. So much needs to be accomplished, but it all feels so purposeless. Wash, sweep, launder, wipe, what for? All of this **** meaningless to me and I'm honestly sick of cleaning it. The same motions over and over, a metaphor for my life. I walk room to room, eyes glancing upon chores undone yet another day, but I don't feel like doing them today either. I don't want to do any of it, want nothing to do with any of this crap. I meander back to the bedroom, lie down in bed yet again, where I never seem to leave on my days off. Festering, this I can do.

Festering
The eternal trench has been dug, Each side gazes upon a day's destruction. A battle where neither side shrugs A battle built upon corruption. The fight - for North Vespucci The land that prospers from war Each side sets skillful schemes too cheat And they surely settle the score. A voice, a rifle Like bullets - piercing a party's heart Accountants launder loot - leaving us stifled Like the master tactician - Commanding an army smart. Ideas recycled; Luring unsuspecting souls in reach Only to promise the unobtainable Through their leader's speech. Cowering in fear, neutrals despised, Don't believe the mystic mirages of which they speak Leaving us disenfranchised, We are who they consider "weak." For "weak" I may be, But disenfranchised - I will not! With a sincere soul I speak, We must move to stop the blood clot. For Weak I am, But strong I will become. Nobody gives a **** But my voice will be a victorious one!

Politics Are War
Step over the threshold And through the front hall Full of shoes and possibilities. Come to a kitchen table Able to shed the cold And unroll your soul Against it's worn and warm knots, Flavoured with cookies and coffee mugs And echoes of late chats and early plans and sneak-behind hugs. Let the love that pools here soak Into your marrow Put aside tomorrow And so launder your heart clean of fear. Our home is your home, Come pull up your chair.

Home from Home
Playing scrabble crazily, I'm running out of words, The flowers are all hiding, Except of course the holly. The children are all buzzing, like bumblebees on speed Father Christmas counting cash to beat his little angels needs. Mother always worries about how to count her money, The bumblebees on speed just spilled all the honey. **** it", says mother the bank notes are all sticky, Blooming mother, into crime has got to launder money. It's very cold outside. Those darned notes will never dry. The children will not settle down, and there's still a week to go. They're looking at the green grass, they're wishing it would snow. I the poet doesn't want it too, Makes my soggy feet all blue. I guess it's back to Scrabble. That was a bit of fun. Mental exercise for a moment, over and done. (C) LIVVI

WORD PLAY
You think trying would get you a good outcome, but **** no my efforts are meaningless. Fed up with the accusations and verbal abuse. Just pick and choose if it's me or really you. Tired of the fighting, expired of the lying. Get a grip, and don't let loose. You'll come to fall with no feet to land on, you'll hide and clap in applause.   Stop all the negatory, you just hold me back. Too quick to be the one to attack. I lost defense, and you're just too senseless. Make some ****** sense of yourself and I'll make some cents for myself. You're the back door rug that keeps making me trip, if I just  stood up maybe I could dip. Yes I used lie. Yes I used to make you unhappy. Kept coming back and wouldn't cut me slack. Realization and consideration got me to change my act. Accept the facts of my mistakes. Don't bring it up but you don't know how to shut the **** up. You hang onto the past, but I hang onto you. The truth of your father is unspeakable, I'm sorry he did that, it's unbelievable. You could leave us alone so I could slit his throat. That's besides the fact of me trying to show you. That I care and I always try to show support. Don't you dare put your hands on me or expect a letter from court. Cut me short when I speak, on the outside your weak. Inside you're so beautiful, I wouldn't trade you for diamonds. The truth here is to be told, I'm so serious about our relationship, don't hesitate and I try to get you to work before your late. I launder your clothes, and fold all the fabrics. I stay and wait for you at home When you could be gone at the casino. Blow up some bucks, I could careless for these jealous ***** I'm not your property, but I can say your mine. I won the lottery, it was everything no one else could give me. The little things like coming to see me every night, the miles, the highs and the lows. Not giving up makes me not give up. I gave up the truth, and I nearly puked speaking of it. I love you Mon Amour, you're everything I could ask for. You make me sore for your love, I can't sugarcoat it either.

As Olive Spectrum lay on the floor at Club Envy with her lungs burning and filling up with blood from being shot by an unknown person. She thought her life would never end like this. Olive's tears started to flow as she thought of the years she spent slithering with snakes. Her job at the BNB Bank made it easy to launder money for the Black Crime Syndicate. It was six years ago in the month of June that her life took a downward spiral. Upset at the thought of being late for work Olive floored the gas pedal. As she passed by the slow moving drivers weaving in and out of traffic. Olive hoped she she didn't get a ticket. I just had to stay up late watching the marathon of Funny Man. Now I got to race the clock and pray I don't get stopped by the police. Thought Olive as she sped past the other drivers. As Olive Spectrum pulled into the BNB parking lot she checked the time. "It's 7:55am. I made it within five minutes" said Olive. Getting out of her car Olive walked through the bank's glass doors. As time passed the employees of BNB got the bank ready for the public. One of the three people that arrived at the time of opening was a new face. Mmmmm yummy thought Olive as she walked up to the tall light skin man. "Hello sir how may I help you?" asked Olive as she eyed the man up and down. "My name is Akurra Wings. I would like to open a checking and a savings account" answered the tall light skin man. "Mr. Wings please follow me to my office" said Olive. As Olive and Akurra sat in Olive's office filling out papers Olive made it up in her mind that she would get to know Akurra on a personal level. After a day's work Olive got behind the wheel of her BMW and started her drive her home. On her way home Olive called her best friend Jewel StoneWall. "Hello Jewel how are you?" asked Olive with one hand on the steering wheel and the other hand holding her cellphone. "I'm doing great Olive. What's up?" answered Jewel StoneWall as she did one of her client's hair at her salon the Golden Scissors. "Are we still on for Saturday?" asked Olive. With a confused look on her face Jewel asks "Is the day Friday already?" "Yeah girl what day did you think it was?" responded Olive. "To tell you the truth Olive I thought the day was Thrusday" said Jewel. "No Jewel it's. Friday. I'm glad I have a friend who owns a hair salon" said Olive. "You better be thankful. moving
He played in the corn fields with friends in the summer, fished in the lake and climbed every tree, he helped with the harvest as did his young friends and he helped with the lambing in those warm days of spring; Such were his memories of youth and of fun, sun through the tree tops warm on his face, haunting new visions have now taken their place since he took the Kings shilling and sailed off to France. He saw lifeless black eyes glazed in ashen white faces, snow that was blood stained and limbs that were dripping, he shed stinging tears for those no longer living and he searched for the answers that were never forth coming; He heard screams from the dying their lungs gas corrupted, murmurs and mumblings under clouds of confusion, he heard rats in a frenzy amid men decomposing   and he searched for the reasons that no one could give him. He now bathes in warm sunshine from a seat in the garden, blanket hangs loose where his legs used to be, he knows not the faces knows not their names, he exists in the present his mind knows not the past; Not one single visitor in all of these years, to the staff he is Harry the old soldier, the Dear, they wash him, they shave him and launder his clothes, wheel him out in the sunshine he loves watching the birds.

Drops of heavenly tears, endless and bound By truth, surround the moon and I The moon, woeful over the heart of blue And I, seek the soul of you We walked, late into the dusk Down across the edge of dark Where rays blazed through the night And the sea gave birth to light But as the dew settled, we parted ways In Triumph and fear, end of infinite days All that remained-was music, of the shore And waves to launder the imprints of our soul And as I write,drifts-these eyes of mine Into the moonlit yonder of milky shine With love so deep and how it fled pain For it shall reverberate until we meet again

Until we meet again
Lie down and stay she does, where you want, is where she was, if it wasn't for her fur you might               call her a cur. Say the word bedtime and turn off a light, go to walk away, she will beat you to your bed, your pillow, for a back-scratch, say, didn't you just launder those as she make happy noises with her           mouth open wide, looking up at you from her back. You know you love her she is your dog at that, loyal and duty bound to defend you in combat, so surprise her with a kitten who will become a cat. ©DWE092013
