Our analysis of the human race
Will forever burn itself into our minds.
The controversy.
The world itself and its ****** up society
Like a cold, smooth granite countertop with
Grey/ green mold and sharp stench from
Spilled milk. The rustles of a silent wind
Knock, KNock, KNOCKing on the windows at night,
The fear.

Is it something about religion, the fear?
My God is right while yours is wrong,
None of us steal, but a few of yours murdered, so
You all must be killers.
Do you cast spells, have you cursed me?
Ive had this stabbing pain in my side, do you do voodoo?
What if I knock, knock, knock on your door and
Shove it in your face because I am right and you are wrong,
Is this controversial enough for you?

Is it something about teeenagers, the fear?
Their whininess?
"They know nothing of the real world,
The hardships.."
*******.
"They're looking for attention, they are manipulative thieves,
Taking money from their parents,
Why can't they get a job?"
Because its *******!
There are no jobs,
School is based on answers, not trying,
Whining? Because we accept that the world will
Carve out our stomachs with spoons
And blame us for the red graffiti on the side of the train?
What about the adults and even some of our own that tell us to
Hole up and die because of the music we like
Because of our mental disorders,
“They cut for attention. Why dont you
Carve a little deeper and paint a pretty picture?
Feel the sting like being *******, motionless, next to a hornets nest.”
Is it controversial enough for you?

Could it be something about ***, the fear?
The clubs, the ****** and prostitutes,
The millions of dollars going toward their single parenthood every year?
The reality shows depicting teen pregnancy
Yet shunning *******?
It’s exhilarating, but it is a sin,
It is an instinct, but I am going to hell?
A boy tells his friend he got laid and he is the
Most popular kid in school, He receives a metaphorical blue ribbon.
His fifteen minutes of fame.
A girl tells her closest friend that she lost her
Virginity and she is known as the school ***** for the
Rest of the year, and maybe even onward.
Age thirteen after the first *** ed class,
"Momma, how does ******* work?
Do lesbians use ******?
Why is lesbian **** okay, but the other kinds are disgusting?"
Is that controversial enough for you?

Is it something about politics, the fear?
The money we do not have funding ****** in a war,
We have no place in.
Stronger guns with less of a kick.
The continuous binding of church and state,
Despite the promise from two and a half hundred years ago
That it would not happen,
Why can we not marry the people we love
Or cure ourselves of deadly disease without spending
What we do not have?
Is it controversial enough for you?

I can see weapons in your eyes
You wish to cut so many ties
I must tell you so many times
To stop with all of your white lies
That you tend to internalise
Take a moment to realise
That this isn't change but surprise
And yet you still reach for the knives
Two friends inspired me today and this came to be.
So they cut
These words
Like the blade that sung your melody
As you cast it from your razor
Or your plethora of phrases
Come backs
Snarky remarks
And stainless steel
Like frost bitten angels we wail
And spit words like knives
If insults could sever arteries
We'd be less
Left
For dead
So we cut
With shaking hands and quivering jawlines
We cut with our moms good sewing scissors
And bitter cusses
And self defecating tunes
To save our souls from being cut by someone else
We are our own
Worst enemy

Guns and knives are for coward’s pens are for me, you can beat me down to a ****** pulp my bruises and my scars will fade weapon of words is all I need. My breath will lead you to a trail of darkness of the hall way broken lights from your weeping mind and your sinking heart falling to the abyss, a pain of fiery flames way beyond measure of your imagination begging with desperation for a different ending. My words will curse you haunt your dreams for all internally emotions of guilt and sins feed my starvation stomach those who will bow down before me. Like political peoples,  speakers, dictators, and of course presidents  who choose their words wisely with there lies in the air making  fools believe whatever they want them to hear, so who need guns and knives when words are the most powerful weapons in all of mankind.

Words are everything
Michaela Ferris May 2015
Once a long time ago I remember it all,
As if your words were etched into my skin...
I remember your words,
Your vicious twisted laugh
Sending me spinning into a forgotten void.

Your words were your weapons
Tearing at my ****** skin,
Ripping my heart into millions of pieces.
Not the daughter you ever wanted,
A mistake was all you ever thought of.

Your eyes were like two black vortex's
Draining every inch of hope from my once glimmering daydreams.
You ripped my world in two
Leaving me to dye among the fallen leaves of autumn.
Of course you never cared.

I am the daughter
You would gladly watch die!
Serge Belinsky Apr 2015
You are still keeping heavy arms,
You did not stop explosive devastations,
The earth is clamings trials – not once,
Have troubled vital forces for whole nature,

United Nations orders been ignored,
Intrudes feeling free for invasions,
Increasing wars revising what agreed,
Incoming time inclining independence,

Indifference for all asleep,
Discourage poll possessions intentions,
Remaining backwards countrys in need,
Would left among nations in faceless,

Despite foggy announcements on stand,
Among the stars would shine the planet,
Don’t leave your children on the sand,
And face cold judgments for a wild,

Pretending for the future bright,
Its hard to watch hearts children crying,
Forgiveness doesn’t have a chance,
Missed way to all the human kind
If there were no bad beings in this world,
There will be no need for weapons...

Why do we not scrap
this barbaric idea
that keeps us all in fear
The price so very dear
Is it not so very clear
We must reject this
stupid idea

Sorry it escapes me
but how does having
Nuclear weapons make
the world a safer place
Does that mean if we all
have them the world would
be a completely safe space

Why does our search for
peace always involve
humiliating an enemy
Destroying their dignity
alienating them completely
Can we not learn a more
compassionate intelligent
social ingenuity

If you could smell evil
we would surely pong
As we breath dreaded a
threat of global destruction
Spreading our fears
like raindrops many tears
As we arrogantly court with
pain and extermination

Let us learn that peace
is not something you
****** on an enemy.
But can only be built
on many small
steps of trust
And by dropping our
power greed blood lust

100 Hiroshima's sleep
within a Nuclear sub
To awake a single one
would be a calamity
So lets protect all of humanity
And regain back our sanity
By rejecting this path of vanity

Every new journey towards
hope starts with one little
brave step in trust.
So let us take that step now and
support nuclear disarmament.

Let's ban beer,
Expel wine,
Prohibit whiskey.

Let's banish ****,
Curse smokes,
Relegate ***.

Drive off knives,
Expatriate guns,
Deport bullies and fists.

Let's ward off the devine,
And the ghosts,
And those who think
They're holy sons;
In any or all
Religions.

Let's proclaim a holy war,
A jihad, if you wish,
Crusade against what
Makes us human,
And live in boring bliss.
Kristy Mar 2015
Silence rages
Like the perfect storm
Ceasing breath, sound and substance
Yet, even the silence can't stop
The heart from beating
Nor the weight of hurt felt
Wish to God silence could cease
The sound of words wielded
As weapons,  piercing tips,
Tongues heavy anvils...drop
Sinew torn with intent,
Hopes even, to crush bone
Quiet sad the state of things when
Pleasure is derived from open mockery
Exposure of faults, failings and wrongs
I never was one for
Modern day entertainment
Arrogance paraded on a
Foundation built on self alone
Simply thought a semblance of comfort
Would be found in seeing her words
Her thoughts, a window to her world
Alas, again I'll put pen to paper
Baring my soul, setting free the burden
Eliminating the presence
That sparked it all...mine
Knowing some amends can't be made
I welcome the silence and pray to forget
Erasing it completely...delete
