her eyes shielded the pain
under ocean waves
setting dusk of sunset haze
she saw the world
at a different side of things

I see the rain

pour from your eyes

And wish only to hide

behind your scented leaves

your rocky plane

Under the water

under the rocks

under the tons and tons

of air.

I will stay right there

between your thumb

between your hair

So let it be known

I am not gone

I am only in hiding

waiting

craving

for my oceans to reach your toes

once again.

Under the streetlights
on the corner of 11th
autumn turned into showers
your pupils reflected
seasons becoming racing beats
hours stumbling out of reach

Under, under, under the sea
Under the sea
Oops, I meant under the sky
But it's all the same
I'm happy and free
The sky will melt into the sea if it must
I'm under the sea, under the sea
Because when the rain falls down
My hair will be matted and wet
Water will cover the ground it met
Just like under the sea, under the sea
And when a warm current flows on my face
I'll feel the heat
Like the sun I'm beneath
The fish with their open mouths
They'll remind me of the people I see
Walking among the trees
Then throughout the day,
I'll close my eyes and forget to breathe
Like I'm under the sea, under the sea
And long after when time runs by me
When I haven't felt a single breeze
I'll wonder if I'm really under the sky
But for now since I'm filled with glee
I'll just pretend that I'm under the sea, under the sea

the graceful butterfly flitted and fluttered
searching for the perfect blossom to take a stance
a locale, so perfect and flawless, that she could finally unwind
relax after hours, no days, of searching
finally, that bloom, with the exact effervescence she needed was there
right under her delicate wings
she was home....

Have you found that perfect bloom?

You have ways of getting under my skin
When you are miles away
Don't understand why I hold onto
Words in the back of my mind each day

Fight
Forget past arguments
Continuous struggle I'm losing
Consuming the house we share
Showing scars
Blood oozing

Much more damage than can heal
Not what I choose
War becoming clearer with time
Further pain to gain unclouded views

When light fades I am blinded once more
Can't breathe when you're not here
Visions flutter faintly inside my chest
Standing in emptiness
Reach out to pull you near

I cannot explain why I cannot shake you off
Brain stuck on you like glue
Lift my gaze for a moment
Cast aside charm invading my view

I climb
Get away from your hold
And turn away from your eyes
I can't see through your blindfold
the darkness taken by your disguise

Standing heart falls deeper every night
Blackness is to blame
Heart entrancing with endless illusions
Surrounding me to be consumed by your name
Once again sorry but I don't know if I've posted this one before

i never learnt how to swim
yet here i am
with my head under water
and my clothes soaking wet

hoping
that the sea is more honest
with those who are willing to drown
