You make me glad,
He makes me smile.
You make me laugh
And so does he.
You keep me safe,
I feel secure.
And what he says
Makes me bubble.
For I'm with you
But not with him,
I feel happy
As I do sad.
I am split in
Two even halves;
If only I
Could give you each
A piece of me
But faithfully.

If only I could have known you for 2 seconds,
I would have spent both of them kissing you.

I:

Dear Diary,

It was not hard to understand,
The feelings that he stirred in me.
I don't really think I was ready,
But he had to have his way with me.

As he pulled back the coverlet
His eyes gleemed in the candlelight.
I felt his callused hands upon my newness
And trusted him with my life.

His words were all I could have wanted
As our fingers interlocked, then splayed.
Nobody told me how much love hurts,
But I loved him, anyway.

He gently kissed me on my forehead,
And told me not to cry.
He used his beautiful lips
To kiss tears from my eyes.

I knew I had forever changed
As I watched him button up his coat.
Then he gently reminded,
I should not tell a living soul...

II:

Dear Diary,

How could I have known that I would love him,
But be left to deal with this alone.
I used an alias on the forms,
So nobody else will ever have to know.

I wondered how I'd feel when it was over,
When I've heard the doctor say that he was through.
I wonder how long I'll miss my baby.
Ending it was all that I could do.

As I walked alone along the Boulevard,
I realize that I must hurry home.
I told them I would be on time for dinner.
(God, please don't let them ask where I did stroam)

The heart can take a body many places
That you never dreamed your soul would go,
Can make you do things you never thought you would.
Most of all, the heart can lay you low.

I wonder if our paths should cross again,
Will I tell him of the ended pregnancy.
Perhaps if he had not gone away
We would have been a wholesome family...
I often write from a perspective outside myself, because as much as I am a poet, I am a teller of stories. Two Entries does not argue the case for it's subject matter. It is not based on any personal stories I have heard.

Tell me about your dreams
of you
wondering in starlit dew
Tell about each dreamy breath you take
making love for lover's sake
Whisper in my ear my dear
of magical dreams with you
falling into clouds of love
feeling the warmth of you

Tell me about ancient fable times;
Oracle's love questions in rhymes;
rhyming about you and me; beyond an ever calming sea

Tell me about vines that creep
up walls too steep that carry me to you
into bedroom dreams of bliss

Tell me about your dreamy house;
it's lilac door, it's French domain, and flowery window paine
Tell me you dream of two, just me and you
within its walls of love, two like dreamy turtle doves
dreaming of only love...

So When you've,
Met with your maker in a dream,
You do,
Absolutely nothing,
But be scared for your life,
If that's what you choose to sacrifice,
We don't have time for stones and ice,
Told you to pay up,
Now your forced to pay the price,
No one will know if there's an after life,
So you don't live once,
Baby You live twice.
I believe it ✌

Wake up and smell the dead roses,
walk with me through the burned fields,
dance with me in pouring rain,
and dodge the falling debris.
But be careful,
for you will realize
that you have been hit by falling debris,
the pouring rain is keeping you on the ground,
you're laying in the empty, burned fields,
with blackened rose petals covering your trembling body.
And when I say you
I mean myself,
for I feel that I am two,
I am me and I am you,
and we lay together on scorched earth
yet we lay apart and drowning in the rain.

And most days now
I can hardly breathe.
Because of the excitement
inside of me.
The eager buzz
bubbling over
hopelessly
and hopefully...
The thrilling nerves
That I can't contain.
The butterflies I can't explain.
And I am counting down the days
(28)
Until I'll see you again.
And I hope that you
are looking forward to it too.
I hope that you're a fraction as excited as I
and I can't wait to see the look in your eyes...
I can't seem to explain
the state
that I'm in...
But basically, I can hardly wait.

One half wants air
The other to drown
One remembers joy
The other only frowns

Split and torn
By love and hate
Tempting time
And teasing fate

One must win
And one must lose
I hate to say
But you must choose

There are two ways in life                                                                                        A good way and a bad way anytime                                                                     Simply because that's the way with it ...                                                                Either you pick this way or                                                                                     That way anytime ...                                                                                                There is not any in-between way in life                                                                  Simply because that's the way with it ...                                                                Life has two ways that makes someone                                                                 At that point of choice anytime ....

two
two smiles framed
by the glorious moonlight
two sets of eyes
glitter within the darkness
two lips, each one
entwined in the other
a makeshift dress, as white
as the surrounding billows
of snow
a single ring to be presented, a
shining symbol to express ones love
for the other
and as the wind howls through the
darkened trees, etched into the sky,
and as the snow falls with more vigor
every second,
two words are repeated
from two people,
two lovers,
i do.
